“Why is it that after a bad review there will be a mass of four star ones? We all know eh. Bad stores, bad quality of fresh foods and also packaged such as steak etc. Downmarket stores supplying downmarket products at prices indicative of their quality. Forgive me when I say that these stores are for people on low incomes. I wish not to offend by saying that but simply stating the obvious. Okay if you are not too fussy about what you put inside yourself. If anyone MUST shop at cheap stores you would do better at Lidl.”

See another review about this. Agree about the checkouts, and feel so sorry for the elderly as they try to keep up with the staff on their scanning targets. Disgraceful to say the least. The only good thing about this particular store is that there were no self service checkouts.”

“Okay then. The reviews on here smell of company interference to me. Just go looking back on previous reviews to see what I mean. So I will try to give a genuine no nonsense review of ANY Aldi store. Prices of course reflect quality, and quality is something Aldi do not offer. Cheap yes, quality no. Staff dragging pallets of stock around during open hours and getting in the way all the time. Seems there is a health and safety issue here, something I intend to look into. Unfriendly checkouts and dried out plants in season. No BB dates on most fresh items unless you know the codes. These are freely available online. Do check them out and write them all down. You'll be amazed at what you no longer buy. Yes, of course, Aldi are fine if you are on a tight budget.Nothing wrong with that, but understand prices really do reflect quality. There is one good thing though about this company. They happen to sell 4ply toilet paper at a reasonable price. Not as reasonable as Iceland's, but fairly near. Is it worth a visit just for this? Not really, unless you happen to live very close by. Just buy that though and get out quickly. That's it really. No doubt there will be company posts after this!!”
