I have had nothing but the very best service from your staff at the Hemel Hempstead store and I feel I need to tell someone. On every visit, your staff are polite, helpful, courteous and above all, friendly. And the food is excellent, I fell on hard times 2 years ago and if it wasn’t for Aldi, I really don’t know how we as a family would have survived. Thank you for all your hard work in making every visit a lovely experience, well done Aldi Hemel Hempstead, if only other providers followed your work ethic!

Two power tools doesn't indicate quality of food items does it? So the four stars is not for that then. Bit confusing really. I mean, you cannot actually eat them can you. So that means the four stars are not indicative of other stock which you don't mention. Does that mean the Rothwell store doesn't discriminate against the elderly and less able? Do their checkout staff not speed items through the checkouts? Must be the only one which doesn't. Hmm. That cannot be though because they are told to use that speed. Oh well. No mention of prices at all at Rothwell. Cheap of course, and no doubt as Aldi supply all stores with same stock it is of the usual low quality.

You will never not ever stop checkout staff from speeding your goods through way too fast. It is what they do come, what may. They have to do so. It is why this nasty little company recently published their worse ever trading results. That and their shoddy goods. It matters not if you are elderly or otherwise as fast it will be. They can be beaten of course by simply going at your own pace and packing your trolley at the end of the conveyer, but why should you have to resort to this anyway. If the staff had any feelings they would slow down at least for the older folks among us regardless of what management said. They won't though. Aldi offer cheap goods and not quality. The best company for recognising that not all of us are agile and capable is Morrisons. They will ALWAYS slow down for the elderly etc...AND...will go at a sensible speed anyway for the rest of us. Keep away from Aldi or if you must shop there make your feelings known on sites like this one. THEY XAN BE BEATEN.

I shop regularly at Aldi, I realise that because prices are very low which is good, there are targets which need to be met, however, on shopping at Aldi in Towcester, Northants today it was not a nice experience. All items were moving on the conveyor belt and being scanned, then I realised that my Sister who was behind me - her items were being scanned onto my bill. There was definitely a bar put there to separate her items from mine, but the cashier was moving them through so quickly, that I think the bar separating the items must have got pushed to one side, so rather than have them taken off, I said don't worry, I will pay for everything and then work out the cost of hers and mine after. It was a totally stressful experience. We know there are targets, but you shouldn't come away feeling stressed, and then having to calculate everything. I think some staff need training, yes, you have targets to meet, but there is a line. I told my Sister that in future if it happened again, the best thing to do is get the cashier to take the necessary items off, then it may make them realise that it doesn't always pay to rush.

Aldi products have got worse over the last few years. I now only buy essential goods like bread and milk. Also , prices are more expensive than branded goods I can find in my local home bargains store. Fruit and veg not good either, always has short use by date. What is good about my local store is the staff are always helpful and cheerful. carolpeter61@gmail.com

Alice? Another fake one for the Coulsdon store. It must for sure be bad there. I also heard about Aldi having their worse year to date. Not surprised really with their low quality stock. Most of it anyway, especially fresh items. .

So I shopped in Tesco most of my adult life and a trip to my parents home in Dorset made me change to aldi the aldi near me is coulsdon and its fab I cannot tell you how amazing the baby stuff is the sensitive baby wipes are so thick and soft I use less of them then the tesco ones and the nappys they are such excellent quality they fit perfectly and never leak they are super soft as well then the baby food and snack range excellent my boy loves the carrot puffs the most I found that Tescos fresh stuff would go off writhing two days but aldi fruit and veg last at least 5 days perfect for my little boy the special buys again are fab always something useful I bought a lovley grey rug a few months back it's lush and thick and Hoover's really well too. All in all the quality is fab and the staff at coulsdon branch are lovley always friendly and smiling.....I get that they have a time that they need to stick to butni never find it rushed or rude all in all perfect customer service .....and ladies....... i was sick and tierd of paying a fortune out for razors so the other day I choose the aldi own despicable razors now I used to spend 11 for only 3 razors but these razors from aldi perfect 1.39 for 4 and there awsome really clean shave close and leave my legs feeling super soft I litterally must sound like an advert but seriously they are so worth it absolute Bargin

Don't hold your breath while waiting for your money back on an overcharge!! This company have just published their yearly results and guess what, their profits are way down. No surprises there at all then. In desperation they announce that they are going to open many more stores to try and compensate. Closing a lot would be in the right direction wouldn't it. Aldi will never really catch on in this country with their inferior goods, especially food items. Nasty low quality is what you pay for and get.

Aldi - check your receipts! I've been to my local Aldi last Friday 6th September as usual and before I left the car park noticed I was overcharged. After not getting the attention from the store staff ( because they were to busy) I decided to get in touch with Customer Service Team of Aldi with copies and photo's attached. Got a reply ''Thank you for your email, we can confirm that we have received your enquiry. A member of our team will get back to you within 2 working days. '' Still waiting for a response ! If it was Tesco I would be given a refund straight away (double the difference back). I would imagine Aldi is making a big profit from people not checking their bills. I will not be shopping there until I got my money back.

Well I never. This is not poets corner it is a review site. Another fake one. The trolley rolled from aisle to aisle? What sort of aldi store do you work in? Is the floor that uneven? Obviously, as you would not say so. PLEASE folks, keep it to genuine reviews and not vivid imaginations.

A mum came in from pouring rain Her shopping trolly soggy. She had to make her money spread. Her mood was low and groggy. The trolley rolled from aisle to aisle. The items they were many. By checkout time, her smile sublime. She'd saved a pretty penny. Her Aldi store had cheered her up. The savings ultra snappy For date night wine and healthy food And Baby's comfy nappy.
