“I worked with Aleko trying to get the product right and finally gave up. When I tried to return the product there is a 30 day limit. So the conclusion is I should not have worked with the technical team to make it right, I should have just returned the gate motor on the first problem ( the base had rusted out an broke).”

“Cheap products arrived broken. Only 1 broken piece was ever replaced. The dust collection bag ripped and upon calling there was nobody available to help obtain a replacement which left half the system utterly useless to me. I would never recommend this company or any products to anyone.”

“Everything. The gate opener broke down after less than 6 months of use. I live in CA and there are no technicians in the entire state to fix it. I personally had to replace parts shipped to me from your technical support and they were difficult to get in touch with. Currently I still have broken opener with no path to getting it fixed and now it is out of the 12 month warranty. I will warn others not to use Allego products...ever.”

“The gate openers work well but the automatic gate opener controller failed within 5 months. this seams to be a common problem as a gate opener that I purchased for personal use has also had the same problem only a month after it was installed.”

“The units fail with different symptoms. This is the third unit and is less than two months in place. This will be the last Aleko unit I buy. Your support has been negligible and when a response arrives it's a platitude. Look it up. I will write another review for Amazon. Not good.”

“I original bought a gate opener online and was sent a lower model. I called and called the customer service line many times before I actually got helped. Finally I was told that they would refund me the difference in price if I kept the model I was sent because they were the same. After installed it I saw they were not the same. The model I was sent didn't have the soft close feature, which I really wanted. I also saw that the key pad would work. I finally called alecko and they told me the keypad was wrong too. (I was sent the keypad for the model of opener that I should have received the first time) I was sent a new keypad and that one did work. All and all if I would have been sent the model i originally ordered, your company would have made more money and I would have wasted many less hours on the phone and trying to program keypads that don't work on the model I was erroneously sent and my gate wouldn't be slamming shut every time it closes. All because someone in your shipping department can't read a model number correctly.”
