The Aleko sliding gate opener is a third the cost of other brands/mfg, we will be ordering a second unit shortly to complete our circle drive. Nice product.

Attempting to get a hold of customer service was incredible. Was on hold for approximately 27 minutes the first time before I was disconnected. The second time I was on hold for about 17 minutes before I was disconnected and finally I was on hold for about 22 minutes before someone picked up. Then I was giving misinformation on two separate occasions and never received a call back when I left a voicemail regarding a delivery question.

The product that I ordered was exactly as stated. It is of good quality and a bit heavier duty than I thought it would be. Very satisfied with both the service and product.

Nice awning at a fair price. Very poor assembly instructions, especially for the motor installation. Assembly is fairly simple, but the directions are so confusing, they make it much more difficult than it really is. PLEASE. For the sake of your business and your customers, create and include better instructions with your awnings. Online videos help, but are not the best answer. Also, packaging was not adequate for shipping to Florida. Box arrived torn and with several holes in it. Parts/screws were falling out. Fortunately, I don't think anything is missing. The white painted surfaces of the awning assembly are scratched in several areas and there's a small dent in one spot. Disappointing, but I can live with it. Still, overall I'm excited about my purchase and look forward to relaxing in the shade!

Ordered in good faith, waited for two weeks. Received a note saying item is out of stock. 4-6 MONTH wait. It takes two weeks to figure that out!? Meanwhile my house is two weeks behind due to poor communication.

The awning is very good for the money. You could pay 3 times as much to get an awning that is just slightly better. This is a very good alternative to a high priced awning.

My gate opener died two months before the warranty expired. After 5 attempts and extremely long wait times on hold, I finally got in touch with customer support. They ensured me it would be covered under warranty but we would have to trouble shoot the problem. Because I started the process when it was under warranty, they said they would replace it if trouble shooting doesn't work. I spent a total of 12-14 hours of my time on the phone trouble shooting and replacing the parts that they sent over the course of 4 months. 4.5 months later, my opener still doesn't work. Now they are telling me they won't replace the unit because the warranty had expired. They are not true to their word and won't honor any warranty. I've never before written a bad review. This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Aleko is a nightmare to deal with and I would recommend any other company. They are a waste of time and money. Look elsewhere.
