“I ordered blackout curtains and in the photo they were grommet curtains and no where in the description did it state otherwise. I ordered them and when they arrived I was severely disappointed to see they were just plain curtains. I placed my order based on the false advertisement of the photo. I will be attempting to return them. This was my first order from Aleko and probably my last.”

“Ordered a product and paid for expedited shipping that arrived with bad a motherboard (Gate opener). Had to buy a replacement and then pay for expedited shipping again and then ship the bad product back to them to get the refund on the replacement order. All shipping was on my dime. And they would not tag the replacement product as a warranty replacement so I got stung with Taxes and Duty again. Left messages for managers so we'll see if there is a call back coming as this situation is ongoing. Customer service rep was very nice and service was good other than this issue.”

“Pros: Unit seems sound and sturdy. Packaging was efficient. Most of the instructions were helpful. Cons: I was told the unit was on 4-6 weeks of back order but arrived with a week. Instructions could use some improvement. Example of DIP Switch #4: Left/Right open section. Sentences contradict them selves depending on perspective of the user. Types of acceptable wiring used for accessories was not listed for parts. What is an acceptable 2-core cable. Parts breakdown of the Opener should be included; circuit board, motor, etc...”

“It looks like good quality. However how does the awning screen attach to the awning. I thought there would be something to slide in the track. Originally I didn't get the part and after talking with Aleko they made good on the issue and that tells me this company is very reputable. I will definately buy again from Aleko and suggest others should also!!”

If you look at this image https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/A1ibL3pZ%2BgL._SL1500_.jpg 1) Remove original valance and pull out plastic wire 2) Insert plastic wire inside shade fabric 3) Pull the fabric all the way in. (Replace valance with shade fabric).
