Diabolical service! Don't believe the paid for delivery service, they let you down! You won't receive your goods when it's been agreed! Don't uphold their delivery agreement. Shoddy service, we're going elsewhere.

Yet another company who's customer service means nothing, when i talked to customer services to try to change my delivery slot, was told that it was not possible, no apology, then when i tried to ask more questions i was hung up on. The delivery men were rude and surly and very upset that they had to make the delivery in the first place. I will be voicing my opinions on social media to let my family and friends, and anyone else who will listen, not to use Appliances Direct and spend their hard earned money elsewhere.

I recently purchased zanussi oven and built in microwave from this company. Worst mistake I ever made !! Oven delivered as stated, microwave which cost £425 missing. Customer services blaming Arrow XL courier service who have never received this. I have been trying to resolve this for 7 days and as of today still no further forward. The attitude and rudeness of one of the agents I spoke to was appalling, anyone would think I was in the wrong for trying to resolve this. I am now being told that this will need investigated further with the courier service before anything can be done. I have spoken with the courier service who were most helpful in trying to assist me but could only tell me the same as they told appliances direct, they can’t investigate what they never had !!!. I have tried to speak with a manager directly but best I can get is a shift supervisor. Now they want to send email links for me to send drivers licence details etc ...... what this has to do with myself not receiving microwave is beyond me. All I wanted was what I paid for and obviously as item not in stock anymore at least a replacement and all I’m getting is fobbed off with excuse after excuse as to why they need more time. Disgusted !!! I am now having to go and buy this item elsewhere at the cost of another £425 and wait till they decide they want to refund me. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY !!!!!!! Edit Delete Share

WHY have a facility on your website to collect old goods as well. (WHEN YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF DOING SO). Why send COPIOUS emails at various intervals stating what is required for the collection of old appliances. (WHEN YOU HAD NO INTENTION OF DOING SO) Why do I get a text message stating the condition that the old appliance must be in and when it would be collected. (WHEN YOU HAD NO INTENTION OF DOING SO) Why fob me off without the courtesy of a reply to my last email. Yes you delivered a day early, this cost me getting an electrician in twice!!! the first time not being necessary because you HAD NO INTENTION OF COLLECTING THE OLD APPLIANCE in the first place, BUT OMITTED TO TELL ME SO!!!!

We bought a wall mount electric fire. The fire its self is lovely but soon developed a noise when the flame effect was on. I had several emails back and to with customer services. They wanted to pick the fire up to inspect it but I had to box it up. I didn't have the packaging as the fire is 2 months old. I was asked to buy some but i explained everywhere is shut down due to lockdown. Customer service were not very helpful or very quick to respond. We decided enough is enough. We will look to get a fire from a reputable company and cut our loses (£580). The fires going the tip . Would I deal with this company again. NO WAY.

Ordered a cooker from them on 3/2 and paid for next day delivery. I did not receive the cooker on the next day, called a couple of times to follow up, all the customer service team could advice me was it will be delivered on the next working day. Today is 8/2, I still yet to receive my cooker. Just spoke to the customer service team and found out the cooker will be delivered on 10/2. Who knows whether the cooker will appeared on my door on 10/2 or not! I was greatly disappointed and dissatisfied with their service

Sold a grade 1A, pristine condition phone. Sent me a phone full of scratches. Phoned to complain, received emails asking for photographs. After asking for photographs, which I supplied twice, they've failed to contact or respond to further messages. Terrible service. Avoid and buy somewhere else.

Do not Buy they are a Scam I paid 350 for a dishwasher they sent me a smashed up Fishwasher then would only refund the cost of the machine not the 39.99 for delivery seems like a clever way of making money at the customers expense. Made a complaint and they were useless never Contacting me and everytime I phoned them they just bounced Me around call centres with out ever telling the next person why I phoned. So it took 2weeks to get some money Back I'll never buy from them again.

Taken them 2 weeks 5 phone calls and 4 emails to send me an invoice and order form for a radiator i bought, so i could activate the warranty. They kept insisting that they had no record of my purchase. It was only after i told them on friday that as they insist they never sent me a radiator, i would contact visa to cancel the payment for something Alliance direct claim they have no record of sending. Invoice arrived today (two days later) They just arn't set up for people who order over the phone but don't have an email account. To contact them its a premium line charge, their local cost phone number to speak to customer services is apparently on the invoice, but without an invoice thats not possible and no one i spoke to could give it to me as it wasn't their department. It is such a shame they have such a poor after sales service, but they send you vey polite messages, sadly none of which actually answer your questions or problems. I need a number of the Delonghi radiator i ordered as its excellent but i'll sadly buy from elsewhere.

Absolutely appalling service, to start with it was delivered in a van stood on end and not on the base as the box states it should be, when un packaged it had a broken screen, called up and they raised a collection. On the day of collection they had not arrived by 4pm i was told to wait at work until 6pm. No one arrived so called up the next day to be told they had a problem with the paperwork. Now it cant be collected until next Tuesday?? I cant begin to describe how annoyed i am buying a next day tv to be looking at a week later with no tv. APPALLING.

Ordered an induction hob from them and had it professionally installed and checked after installation . The next day whilst using it, it cracked. Contacted customer services with photos and they have said it must have been done whilst installing,(practically calling me a liar). Hamza from Customer services said in an email he tried to call me but no calls came to me or my home number so I'm afraid I'm not the liar. After a few emails to and from I'm stuck with a dangerous induction hob that can only be partly used.... Shysters

Ridiculously poor experience in dealing with this company. Been chasing up my order which is now 14 days late and with no sign of it on the horizon. Repeated phone calls and emails haven't been followed up with the promises being made. Wouldn't deal with Appliances Direct again and I would urge others to shop elsewhere too. They were very quick in emptying a 3 figure sum from my bank account but that has been all they've been quick at unfortunately. Frustrated, disappointed and downright P'd off.🙄

Purchased 10L dehumidifier for my 3 bed bungalow. It collects the moisture but it significantly lowers the temperature of the house. I ran it overnight for few days and now my whole family is suffering from cold due to this. The weather is already very cold and this machine is making the house even colder. No idea why it was not mentioned anywhere that this dehumidifier blows cold air and lowers the room temperature significantly.

Bought a new tumble dryer and collection of old. Delivery was quick of the tumble dryer, but on setting it up, it appears to be broken. The delivery team refused to collect my old machine as it was "someone else's job". Two weeks later, I have had little response from customer service, my old machine is still sat in the driveway awaiting collection, and I have a broken Tumble Dryer that I can't use. Not good.

Bought a condenserless 10,000 btu room heater/cooler advertised as great for all round use only to find out when fitted it doesn’t work. Customer services state that it’s too cold outside for it to heat the room and suggest I buy another heater to heat the room up so their unit will start to work..,! What’s the point in buying their £600 unit..... it also pools water down the back of the unit onto my nice new wood flood. Appliance Direct are refusing a refund as past the 14 day limit and state in the small print it’s only rated to 7degrees to work... how can they advertise a unit as a ‘great all year round heater/cooler’ when it won’t operate in the 3 winter months........... customer services also state after that the unit shouldn’t be used as the primary room heat source, the description on their website certainly doesn’t mention that...... I’ve had to buy another unit that does the job as it’s a home office and needs to warm to work in. Avoid these cowboys. Customer services are a joke.

If I could give Appliances Direct zero… If I could give Appliances Direct zero rating, I happily would!! 6 weeks down the line I am still waiting on these charlatans collecting the broken tumble dryer they delivered to me on the 28th of November 2020. I ordered a Hoover tumble dryer, it was an A1 reconditioned appliance, I was expecting the odd scratch but not actually smashed in 2 places. I immediately called customer services, first time, after being on hold for 45 mins, the woman cut me off. A further 35 mins on hold, I was told I’d be sent an email to upload photos. The link they sent wouldn’t work so I attached them to the email and sent them that way. I got a reply on the 30th to say my return had been closed as I had not responded! I had paid for the item through PayPal so I opened a dispute. I was told I would get a full refund once I had returned the item! I messaged PayPal to make them aware of the cost involved in returning white goods from Edinburgh to Huddersfield. They said their hands were tied. The dispute was closed. This joke of a company has twice said they would collect the dryer and twice a no show!! I will not back down, I want this heap of junk uplifted from my property and a full refund!! I have contacted my local consumer services who are now involved. I have been assured that Trading Standards in Huddersfield have been made aware of the dire service this company provides. My advice to every customer on here who has been made a fool of by these people! Take it to trading standards, maybe then we’ll have a chance of closing these conmen down!!
