Ordered dishwasher on Saturday, paid for delivery and collection of old one three days later. Delivery men advised that a separate team do collections due to COVID. Phoned to find out when this was to be only to be told they don’t do collection service anymore, offered refund and suggested I phone the council. I would not have bought from them had I known that they wouldn’t be collecting. I strongly suspect they knew this. I asked to speak to a manager and was then told they would collect. This has yet to happen and I’ve received no confirmation of this to date. I’m not confident.

Received an email to collect my item from the East Midlands store, turned up and was told sorry love will be waiting over an hour. What?? I got an email that it was ready to collect on the day I arranged? Staff couldn’t care less. Rang when I got home to complain, staff still couldn’t care less. Got a phone call the next day your item is ready call us back and we will get it ready. So it is ready or not??? Tried to call the number given repeatedly but never answered. So turned up again the next day, item still not ready and still had to wait to receive it. Shocking customer service, will not use again

Purchased a cooker hood but website didn't advise it didn't come with a carbon filter. Instruction manual said they are available as an add on extra so after I attached the appliance to the wall, I went on the website and they were out of stock for 4-5 months. Surely this should be advised before a customer purchases the product? Contacted Appliances Direct and they weren't interested, closed case, and basically told me tough cookie. So beware anyone else. Don't buy a cooker hood without contacting the store first to see if they have the filters in stock if you need recirculating cooker hood, otherwise you will be left in a similar situation.

I never had my dehumidifier delivered on the 24th.Hope it comes today the 30th!I got an email to confirm delivey the 24th.Not happy

The delivery timeslot was arranged but ran late (rang to inform) understandable at Christmas during a pandemic The fridge was to be stored in the garage however due to packaging, it was too large to fit through the door. Deliverer went to leave on the drive and had to be convinced by the disabled partner and her elderly father to help and try second time without trolly. Went in however left blocking the only point of access, the driver must have had the engine running as he left my heart arthemic FIL to move a fridge on his own with no trolly so we could close the garage. If I'd had been there I'd have been furious, sadly like quoted above they were late Product and online interaction were fine, delivery service was a laughable joke. Would be hard to recommend, such a shame

No confirmation, call them to find out what’s going on and it takes 20 minutes or so for them to answer. Get mobile bill, call cost £26!

You have sent load of correspondence regarding my item all to do with how pleased I should be with my product and how the guarantee works but haven't even received item, your amazon delivery keeps on moving the date, bloody joke

My fridge/freezer has damage to the side panel leaving me constantly checking and wondering whether fridge air is leaking through the deep crease and should I put some kind of tape over the damage, I should not be having these thoughts with a brand new item.

Delivery details said company would inform me of any important information or changes, they didn’t. Delivery time between 1307 and 1707, it wasn’t. Finally arrived at 2007. Details said that I would get 30 minutes notice of delivery, I didn’t. Tried to get information about late delivery, no one available, ring back tomorrow. Not satisfied at all with this service, will look elsewhere in future

Premium rate phone number cost a fortune. cooker was supposed to be delivered and got message the night before to say almost a month delay - surely they were aware if this more than a few hours before it was due to be delivered

Never again !!!! More then one month ago we bought Whirpool oven, one part was missing, customer servis promise us they will send the missing part , but we are still wiating !!! It is month allready !!!!They don't reply for messages!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!

Where do I start? No probs with orderong or Delivery.Customer Service is rubbish trying to get to speak to someone.I understand there are problems as the moment,but that doesnt excuse AD for keeping customers hanging on the phone having to listen to some awful music for 31 minutes after being told the wait time was 23 minutes,needless to say I hung up,I wasn't prepared to wait any longer,wasting my time.. The item I received was faulty,and I was phoning for it to be collected on Panasonics instructions. Will not be shopping with AD ever again.. Had to send email because couldn't speak on phone,just waiting now to see how long it will be before they respond..

I ordered a new oven which I was told would arrive within 5 working days. I then received 3 phone calls from appliance direct asking if I wanted to purchase oven insurance. When the oven had not arrived in 7 working days I was told that the oven was not actually in stock and would take a further two weeks to deliver... they also informed me that there were no more electrician slots until after Christmas. So we could receive our oven late and then not use it for 2 months...yay. Order cancelled, spent so long on the phone I was charged an extra £20 on my phone bill. Never using them again.

I ordered 2 heaters at a cost of £249.they arrived within 2 days. Perfectly boxed. Both heaters are dented/damaged. Trying to contact the company for collection and refund is dreadful, complicated and not user friendly. No phone contact. Sounds like a Robot that sends an email then cuts the conversation off. This company is faceless. No customer service. Buyer beware. I'm now at their mercy 100%

This company are rogues. Don't touch them with a barge pole.. They sent me 3 delonghi oil heaters both dented and damaged. They won't accept any explanation over the phone after 20 minutes trying to talk to someone. They won't even acknowledge an email.
