READ THE REVIEWS, CAVEAT EMPTOR!!! Not a great experience with this company I'm afraid!! Use at your own risk!! Ordered a fridge and freezer at the same time and was told that the delivery would take about a MONTH! ordered anyway as i was in no particular rush for them. Next day I received a call to what they say confirm the item details and make sure it's correct. What the call was actually for is to try and use hard sell tactics on you to take out extended warranty on your new goods and pay a monthly fee!! Even when you tell them NO! they don't stop pushing!! Anyway a little while after ordering, I get a message saying one of my items won't be delivered on time!! Even after waiting for a month!!! How long can it possibly take to put a fridge and freezer in the back of a truck and deliver it??? People have traveled to distant planets in shorter time periods!! So, the day finally arrived that i would take delivery of the first item which was the fridge. I get a message saying it will be delivered and will get a courtesy call before hand. Well I waited in all day and no call! So I called them. Was told it must be on the evening delivery if it's not arrived yet and to just be a bit patient. Anyway to cut it short, it didn't come! Next day spent hours on the phone getting pushed from pillar to post and losing connection with them 3 times! Only to get absolutely nowhere! My next port of call was with the delivery company themselves ArrowXL great company BTW! Only to be told that they do know of my fridge, but it hasn't been scheduled for delivery yet! I then had to arrange for the delivery MYSELF!! and select the most appropriate date which for me was the earliest. That was at least another week! Eventually that arrived and all was good. Now the freezer! That arrived exactly on the day they said it would with a different courier service. Unfortunately it had scratches on the front of the door. I got in contact with them and sent them pics of the damage and their response was to refund me £15 OR £20 store credit! Why on earth would i want to give these people more of my money by spending it in their store???? I told them after spending £200 on a damaged freezer, I don't really think 15 quid was suitable compensation! If that was all they were prepared to offer then I would rather a replacement. But did state it was now in use as I had no where else to store my food! Their reply was if it's been used they can't accept it backs it's in their terms and conditions! Just a complete hassle from start to finish with these people. If you want my honest opinion, then go to a reputable company you know and trust! Yes, you may pay slightly more. But in the long run, you will be glad you have saved yourself all the stress!! DON'T USE THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!!

Absolutely shocking service. If you didn't have the item in Stock then why did you sell it with a 3 day delivery time.

I am a small Domestic Appliance Repair Company. I buy a fair few Appliances thru out the Year. I Bought a couple of Ovens for Customers from Appliance's Direct, Opened one found Control Console Badly damaged stoved in. Could not get through to get exchanged Had to buy a new part and repair a new Oven to be able to sell. After a long period was offered a derisory amount which I wont accept cost me Part and Time as a Small Business. So I can't recommend Sorry

looked to buy an oven and found it cheaper elsewhere.. (these turned out to be the most expensive) the page says "price match, we will match the prices if you find it cheaper" lies.. spent 20 minutes on hold to be told "we cannot meet their prices" lost my custom

We ordered a dishwasher middle of September. Delivery changed 3 times since. Only very short notice, email the day before. Difficult to keep putting our plumber off. Finally cancelled the order asking for full refund. Customer team member obviously didn’t read the full email and only refunded £20 delivery charge. Still no dishwasher and they have held on to our cash for 10 weeks now. I will not be recommending this company.

Do not use Appliances Direct if you value customer service. They sold me a faulty oven and refuse to deal with the problem - just fobbing me off the manufacturer who never answers the phone! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!!

An absolute joke of a transaction and as a result I will never be using this company again. I can totally understand that retailers are struggling with the COVID-19 situation but I don't believe that should stop customer interaction/updates. Shortly after ordering I was informed that my delivery date would be pushed back by four months. However, when that new date had passed I had to chase Appliances Direct up to find out that delivery would be pushed back a further four months! Surely this would be a reason to get in touch with a customer?

I have used this company several times in the past and been blown away by their organisation and professionalism, I was kept up to date with emails at every stage of the process, I even received a courtesy follow up call after ordering & after delivery. I have place two orders recently, and have had to cancel both due to the web site telling me it’s in stock, when actually it’s NOT, I was given a delivery date of 18th Nov, which was a realistic three week wait, then it was changed to the 27th Jan 2021 – What went wrong ? You were a brilliant company to deal with, now your totally useless, and for that reason, I will NOT be using you ever again.

Very bad experience with appliances direct. They have misleading stock information.. I have ordered a fridge freezer four months ago when it was “in stock” on the website. The delivery has been delayed four times with less than 24h notice causing me to lose days off at work. I had to buy another fridge temporarily and than they send me another email saying that the delivery would be delayed again without a date this time... so I had to cancel the order. I’ve lost hundreds of pound in loss of earnings,temporary fridge and phone calls. And at today I still don’t have my fridge. Avoid this company! Don’t try to sell stuff you don’t have!

Awful awful awful - sorry I didn’t listen to bad reviews - took money for an already cancelled order - took until I did reviews to get back (luckily I found it). Now waiting for another delivery placed early October - like banging your head against a brick wall - passed from one to another to delivery company who knows nothing about the order - but according to alliance have been trying to ring non stop ((funny boy missed calls or emails) - left without fridge freezer in lockdown with children - awful experience - worst ever

I ordered a split aircon unit back in July together with installation. I`ve contacted customer service over 6 times and every time they told me someone will call to arrange for installation the next day. BUT I`m still waiting for someone to contact me, and now we`re heading into winter (the aircond unit was suppose to be for the summer). Complete failure!!

Ordered a range oven on 4th oct as mine has broken, showing as in stock so ordered. Got a phone call on my delivery date to say it will now be 13 oct. 13th came got an email saying delivery will now be 1st November! Called customer services didnt care in the slightest when i said it should have stated online that there were stock problems. Today 1st November NO COOKER!!!!!! Tried customer services and they are closed! Will be asking for a refund now, totally avoid if you want something quick!!

Ordered a cooker in September which showed as in stock available for next day delivery on paying for the item they said it couldn't be delivered until the 30th October at the earliest . To now receive an email saying estimated delivery will now be 6th January 2021. Couldn't get through on the phone lines and no reply to messages requesting a refund as I need a cooker ASAP as mine has broken and I have 2 young kids to feed and now no cooker to use!!! Wish I'd never ordered from this site 😕

Ordered a dishwasher on 10 September and was scheduled for delivery on 16th October but did not turn up having waited in all day. Have called numerous times and each time is approx 40 minute wait before you can speak to anyone only for them to pass the buck and blame the courier. Still getting fobbed off with excuses and still no delivery date given as yet or reason for non delivery or delay. The worst customer service ever!! I do not recommend shopping with this company, you are safer going elsewhere.

Ordered 6 items from their website that stated all in stock and could be delivered in days (scheduled for 28th October allowing time for kitchen to be installed). Just received an email now saying delivery will be Christmas Eve. Really how acceptable do you think this is. Waiting on the phone for nearly 40 minutes to speak to someone. Avoid and use AO.com - lesson learned.

Product never arrived, had to chase far too many times to get a refund when they finally did respond didn't really acknowledge how awful they'd been or offer any kind of explanation. Tried to sell me a warranty on a product that already came with a five year parts and labour warranty... Really disappointing service.

Built in Oven Appliance delivered, wrong size, Was my fault as difficult to read AD advert for this oven. The delivery van was still at the premesis & AD refused to take the item back, even if I paid for the return. I was also willing to purchase the correct size oven AND cover the return and re-delivery costs. I will NEVER EVER use this company again. DISGUSTING Unacceptable behavious to a customer that had ( in the Past) purchased many items from them. NEVER AGAIN. DISGUSTED with them. They have one star because I am unable to give them NONE

Ordered a Russell Hobb's kettle on 8th of October,was told it would arrive on Tuesday 13th of October. It has yet to arrive. I advise not to telephone them.

ordered and paid on 4/10/20.confirmed delivery was on 9/10/20 but not happened until15/10/20.No updates. Called them. They said the rescheduled delivery will be in December.
