Your company is an absolute disgrace. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and I would never buy anything from you guys again, bearing in mind that as a landlord and business owner I buy loads of appliances every year and yet I have never dealt with a more incompetent company. I paid for a next day delivery for a fridge freezer to come in yesterday, your delivery crew came and told me that they would not bring it upstairs despite the fact that you were meant to recycle the old one and connect the new one. They did not even attempt to bring it up and they were being so unhelpful. Called your customer service to be told that they can’t do it as I need to clear the doorway (complete bs, just trying to make excuses) it would have taken me a couple of minutes to clear a shoes rack and remove a hand rail yet they didn’t want to wait as they had too many delivery scheduled which to me is extremely unprofessional. As a company you should allocate the right amount of time for each delivery. After speaking to customer service I was assured that once the doorway is cleared they will attempt to deliver it again, pictures were taken of the stairs and hallway by the delivery driver and sent to the company and after a few hours I received a phone call from a customer service agent who informed me that they found the “right” crew to deliver it the next day, so again I took some time off from a very busy schedule to wait for the delivery only to be told that they couldn’t bring the fridge upstairs, you took the pictures the day before so you knew what to expect and then to tell me that you can’t bring it up because it’s too heavy is just pure laziness. Your employees are incompetent, unprofessional and lazy which to me says a lot about your company.

Partner phoned AO to price match a laptop we had found cheaper online the laptop was the same model telephone operative was very pushy and would not do the price match as he said it was different processor and an older model not as good as the one they were selling so could not price match. My partner bought the laptop and I went back online and they had lied to my partner all the important bits were identical. I phoned back and he said he could not match as there one was brown and the one I was looking at was black which is a better colour to which he laughed. I passed my partner back to get a refund. They were pushy, rude and they do not actually price match like for like items. Saved myself £50. Will never use Ao again.

Their after care service is ABYSMAL they dont show up cancel at the last minute. Dont work around the customer it's all about them. They lie they say they will call you back and they don't. They're unprofessional and just use excuses for there lack of ability. We have several of they're products in our home this is the first time I've had to use the repairs service I will be cancelling all service plans. As I'd rather find then money to replace items then have to deal with your company again. Further more if you have any mental health issues avoid this company like the plague they will have you wanting to harm yourself after dealing with them!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Bought an expensive American Fridge Freezer. First delivery was a fridge with doors which would not line up on the front and side. Engineer was called to fix, who said the item was faulty. The replacement fridge was worse, with large dent on the outside, and inside had multiple scratches and wear and tear, so looked second-hand. The second delivery men damaged my property significantly when moving inside the front door. The wall next to the door has been hit and has a 20cm hole to the steel wall! I would avoid AO as the items seem second-hand, or cheaper products from manufacturers. Also, your property may be damaged!

Don't use this company unless you like being pestered by phone and email by them trying to sell you product insurance about a year after delivery! You can get the same products from other companies that don't do this. I will never use them again. It gets on my nerves.

Ordered a washing machine for next day delivery, at 7am the delivery driver pulled up, took a photo of property to prove attendance but didn't knock door and drive away. The first we knew of the delivery was an email saying it needed rearranging, even though we were at home and waiting for the delivery. No accountability when we rang to speak to manager, only option was to rearrange delivery for the week following which was difficult with work. No flexibility which led to us canceling the order. Loss of a customer from really poor customer service ao, it's a shame.

Paid extra money for disconnection and removal of old device as well as connecting the new one by ‘trained engineers’ he said he couldn’t Disconnect the old one or connect the new one as it was too difficult. Terrible attitude from them, told me to call the office and they sat in the van. Told them to pack it back up and refund my money. Terrible service won’t be using them again.

Sales and price fine, delivery and installation awful. List the machine, refused to fit with kitchen kick boards on then came back and broke them putting them on anyway. Admit liability at the time then refused to pay out. Stove washing machine doesn’t work to boot and AO won’t replace it. If you need Installation avoid at all costs

The ordering and planning of delivery for a new integrated washing machine and taking my old one away was excellent, even had a call to check our order prior to delivery. The evening prior to delivery had email to confirm time slot, plus a call hour before they arrived. The problem started when the delivery drivers arrived, lots of huffing and puffing saying new machine was heavy, next they were criticising the way my old machine had been plumbed in, as it was going to cause problems for them everything was to much trouble, they even took a call from a colleague who had finished for the day only for my delivery men to start telling them mine was a problem and they would be here ages. to top it all when my husband got home I asked him to check for evidence of a previous leek only to find they had left the electricity cable sitting in water, I dread to think what could have happened if he hadn't checked we could have been electrocuted. These drivers made out they were doing us a favour not that we had paid £65 for installation and taking away our old machine. we will not be using or recommending AO in the future.

TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE to get a price match I am purchasing a Bosch Telescopic Cooker Hood, AO.Com price is total £166. Queried the price today vs other online sellers as follows.. 1) Appliance Direct £154.92 2) Appliance Source £142.92 3) Boots the Chemist £156 4) Amazon £159.99 plus 4% cashback from an online cash back company where AO.Com only offer 1% cashback. In every instance the very "talented" lady I spoke to on the telephone gave me excuse after excuse as to why AO.Com could not price match. To be honest I had another 2 companies I was going to quote who were cheaper than AO.Com, but why bother !!!!!! You will not win..they are TOO crafty. Now placed my order with Amazon with free delivery tomorrow at a cost of £153.59 ( nett after 4% cashback ) £12 cheaper...NO CONTEST.

I had a washing machine delivered on Thursday, it was intended that I had a disconnection, new washing machine connected and old machine taken away. The only thing that I could have done was the old washing machine taken away. I found the delivery men, not very helpful. When inspecting where the new washing machine would go, I was told that he could not connect my new washing machine because my connection pipes were not secure enough, even though my old washing machine had been connected for 7 years without any problems!! Common sense could have been applied!! And he would not disconnect which I had to do. Once I unwrapped the new machine and connected it, the new machine then started to leak from the front of the machine and not from where it has been connected. It is leaking from the filter hose. Upon ringing AO I was informed I then had to make an appointment with Hotpoint which I did and have this appointment for this week. So I have had no new washing machine for a week and I find this totally unacceptable and will not be ordering from AO again and I am not expecting great things when the Engineer from Hotpoint comes and tells me how long I have to wait without using my new washing machine!!

Avoid avoid avoid they wouldnt give me rufund after a washer dryer indesit iwdd7123 burnt clothes but didnt dry anything macgine was terrible

I had a washing machine delivered by ao.com. The 2 delivery guys struggled to get it up the stairs (which I informed them of when I ordered), slipped and bashed a comprehensive hole in my wall. Then they put the washing machine on my wooden floor (without it's packaging), moved it around a bit, then tipped it before moving it into the washing machine slot - creating tens of dents in my brand new wooden floor. It's heartbreaking when someone comes into your home and treats it with so little respect. Despite phoning ao.com straight away with the delivery guys, almost nothing has been done. They make it impossible for someone with a busy life to make an actual claim, expecting you to run around and spend hours to fix it yourself. So I'm left with a damaged house, and ao.com have done nothing to help me with this. (I will update this review if they pay me any form of compensation, they have said their limit is £100). I strongly suggest buying from a company that cares about customer service.

I ordered a Beko integrated fridge/freezer to replace my old broken down one. Looking on AO website I found that they do install. Quote: "We also install integrated fridge freezers." With other quotes, such as: "Our guys are true professionals," and "Our delivery team engineers have been through the most intensive of training courses," This could not be further from the truth. The idiot who arrived got his tape measure out and informed me that the appliance wouldn't fit as the door split was in the wrong place. This is a 50/50 fridge/freezer replacing a 50/50 fridge/freezer. When I told him that the base needed raising so that the door split was in the right place, he told me that the feet were not adjustable and nothing could be done with it. I sent him away with a flea in his ear and told him to take the appliance with him. Following a phone call from AO, I agreed to take delivery of the fridge the following day, and was immediately given a refund for the installation and waste disposal costs. I (a 70 year old pensioner) decided to fit the f/f myself, with the help of my 64 year old brother. The first thing we discovered on unpacking the item was the inclusion of a set of "high-levelling feet" to line the doors up with the cupboard unit. With some adjustment to the top shelf of the cupboard and a lot of heaving and hoeing we 'non-professionals' had it up and running. So, no, they do not 'install integrated fridge/freezers', and their 'intensive of training courses' are obviously worse than useless. Would I recommend them? Most certainly not.

...it all when wrong when we had to return the microwave due to a fault. The process was slow and painful. Spent 20min on the phone while they contacted the manufacturer and arrange for an engineer to inspect it. One week later, still no response. Have emailed them and received an automated respoNse to say they will get back to us within 24hrs. They have not even collected the faulty appliance....SHOCKING!

i ordered an integrated washing machine, the order process was fine. however the guys that turned up to install it had no idea what they were doing. and kept telling me they were gas engineers and they shouldn't be fitting these??? why would AO send us untrained installers. very very un professional. took them 4 hours in the end. and the door isnt level and the machine rocks.

Order of new American fridge freezer and built in double oven. Fridge freezer was fine but new Neff oven had deep scratches on the main oven handle and top oven wasn’t level. Got a replacement delivered and unpacked by delivery guys. All looked good at a quick glance, however when we looked more at the oven you could see it was second hand, food splatters on the back of the oven around the fan, food marks on the wire racks, and the front has been cleaned with what can only be described as wire wool. Scratches all over the stainless steel. The guys on the phone are great and the delivery guys are as well, but the quality of the products is not always what you expect. Are AO supplying seconds and passing them off as grade A stock?

Never again... AO let's go... exactly.. they left and took my washing machine away with them! No fault of the delivery guys, AO must employ people that probably have no idea how to use a washing machine, let alone fit one. Maybe a bit of basic training may not go amiss
