Washing machine developed fault within first week - leaking water all over the floor. Tried to contact AO but their automated answering service redirected me to the manufacturer despite fact that my contract is with AO not with Candy. It is virtually impossible to speak to a real person. All communication is via email and the person emailing you deliberately withholds their phone number. They are saying that I need to get it repaired but I feel that under the Consumer Rights Act I should be able to return it and get a refund as within 30 days of purchase. I will never buy from them again.

An absolutely disgraceful service from AO. I am utterly furious and horrified at the lack of care and consideration I have received. I paid for installation of a new oven, and AO have left me without a working oven. They will not do anything to help me. They have washed their hands with the situation. They don’t care at all. Sold me an oven. They couldn’t fit it, despite me paying for fitting. And now I’m helpless and powerless. I have wasted a huge amount of time on the phone begging to get it sorted. They kept on making excuses which made no sense. I am very very very disappointed, and I will be telling everyone I know NEVER to use AO.,

The first washing machine I purchased turned out to be faulty and I went through a load of headache with that. Only to end up with a rude driver/fitter the second time round to left water all over my wooden floors casing my 5yr old daughter to slip and fall. The driver had no remorse and stormed out of my house when I expressed my frustration. All AO did to compensate me was a refund of just £40! Wow how satisfying...... NOT!!!!

My son bought a washing machine from ao for his first flat, the delivery did not turn up and a while later he was told they could not find a parking space so they would have to deliver another day, after much discussion they finally agreed to try again after telling my son it would have to be late as he had messed them around so much?? When they finally arrived they unloaded the machine off the van on the other side of a very busy road from his flat, then left him and his girlfriend to carry the machine across the road and up 4 flights of stairs.disgusting service, companies like this don't deserve our custom...

Do not use ao.com The 1st fridge / freezer I bought from ao.com would not fit into my integrated kitchen (even though I was reassured it would). They then sold me a 2nd appliance which fit, good start, but the bottom 3rd of the fridge is unusable as the fruit & veg drawer only comes out half way so you cannot get things in or out of it easily. As a vegan this is a major issue! The story from ao.com is that it is a design feature not a design fault!

Poor delivery service. I called twice when placing order to ensure drlivery of fridge freezer could be made downstairs. First team who turned up spun me a tale about losing their lifting gear out of the back of their van. Second team told me this was bulls**t. They said they didn't have lifting gear. I cannot understand how a firm that sells heavy duty appliances can send it's delivery teams out without any lifting or stairclimbing equipment. Poor. I will not use them again.

I do not recommend AO's installation service for integrated dishwashers. We paid £90. They installed the dishwasher crookedly in the space and then put the door on so crookedly that there was no gap bottom left but a 6mm gap top right, so the door would catch every time it opened or closed, and escaping steam would have warped the door and frame finish. Although they sent another pair of 'fitters' to put it right, they spent most of the time saying they couldn't and when they left, it was no different - they seemed clueless and unprofessional. We had it put right ourselves and discovered they had installed the dishwasher at the wrong angle and had removed brackets that were supposed to support the door as well as using screws that were half the depth they should have been. No wonder it was crooked. Do not pay them for installation. Either do it yourself or pay professionals.

Very un profrsional. WhenThey came to deliver my washing machine but didn't want to take it up the stairs as we live on the second floor. Their excuse was there was no parking but there was lots of parking. Will never buy from these cowboys again. Lazy drivers who don't want to walk up the stains and robotic office workers.

Dishwasher installation paid for. AO arrived but left my elderly mother stranded refusing to turn off the stopcock - when I spoke to the delivery driver he said he was new to the job and didn't know how to turn it off. Awful service won't be using AO again.

I would love to give AO zero stars if I could. We ordered a miele wasching machine and a tumble dryer as well as a fridge. Everything was fine with the items and the delivery, the installation was the issue. During the installation a valve behind our wasching machine got damaged and leaked leaving us with a flooded dining room. We had to rip out the soaking wet carpet to prevent further water damage and send a claim to AO. After a lot of back and forth our claim was rejected twice claiming it was our pipe work so they weren't liable. We are super annoyed and are now having to carve out the cost for the repairs and replacement of the flooring. DON'T ORDER WITH THEM!!! Or at least don't expect help when things go wrong.

One of the WORST companies I have dealt with. Through Next ordered Belling Dishwasher and Samsung oven. Dishwasher broke down in first three days, wrong Samsung oven delivered. Paid extra upgrade to Bosch dishwasher and paid extra to upgrade oven. This time Samsung oven delivered was faulty. Trying to get a refund was a nightmare, AO is run by idiots who cannot work out simple maths. Say they will ring you back, they don't. Spent hours on phone and got nowhere. Bank details were also hacked into not a secure site. BE WARNED THEY AO ARE USELESS.

Purchased Hotpoint washing machine 15 months ago. Drum bearing has broken on machine and ao.com refusing to offer any remedy on basis machine is 3 months outside warranty. Will never use online retailer again for white goods. Have gone to local retailer for replacement and received a proper service. Avoid ao.com at all costs.

Item less that 16 months old and ao want me to pay to sort it out even after I have told ao that I have spoken to Trading standards and under the 2015 consumer rights act it is your responsibility to deal with this you still refuse, I have written an email of complaint and copied your CEO in and given you 14 working days to address this issue. As I promised you I have already posted on "Trust pilot" and left a damming review and will on all sites including Facebook and I will NEVER use ao again and spend my money this your competitors and advise others to do likewise.

Got a replacement tumble dryer from ao which was ordered by domestic and general as a insurance replacement but does not work as it should ao are refusing to replace it after 7 days need to send a engineer out to look at it but I ask for a replacement as it was only 7 days out there terms and conditions say u get the option of a engineer or a replacement product but ao still refuse to replace it next steps will be trading standards as do not keep to the law and was also told they do not need to keep to the law as they are a online trader

I thought ao.com were going to be good. I have ordered from them before with great service, but it's only when something goes wrong that you learn how good a company is. I ordered a candy dishwasher from them - model CDI1LS38S, which arrived on time and with no problems on the 9/9/18. I then fitted the machine 2 or 3 days later and had a problem with the spring on the door of the machine being too stiff, it was supposed to be self-adjusting, but it never self-adjusted itself. So I rang ao.com to arrange for a replacement. The only problem is that they have no phone number to ao.com and it goes straight to Candy, Candy could not give me any help and just wanted to send an engineer out to me and told me I would be charged if it was found to be my fault with the fitting (not wishing to blow my own trumpet, but I know what I'm doing, as I'm a plumber by trade and have fitted hundreds of dishwashers) . I told them that I had only had the dishwasher for a few days and it was brand new and would like a new replacement rather than a repair. So, I started to email ao.com and they kept wanting to send an engineer out, all I wanted was a new replacement. I kept stating my consumer rights about it only being a few days old, but they kept ignoring me and I didn't want a repair doing on a new item. I still never got a phone number to speak to anyone in customer services. Anyway, I gave up after a couple of weeks and the spring is still stiff, but at least my arms are getting stronger opening it! I am only writing this review now, because, as of today 13/12/18 it has begun to leak water from underneath and does not work and i expect to be fighting with them to get this repaired or replaced.Does anyone at ao.com read these reviews?

AO are literally the worst company I have dealt with. Bought a cooker in may - delivery people damaged flooring. Issue was eventually fixed but was left on hold for 45mins to report this. Just bought a fridge and dryer - delivery has been 1 huge f@@k up after another. Will we get this on Friday? Odds don't look good! Customer service people are nice but promises are just words in our experience of AO. We certainly wouldn't use AO for anything again and would share these bad experiences with anyone who asks.
