My washing machine broke down after 5 months. A engineer was called out 1 week later, he was unable to fix it. My partner booked a day off of work for the next available engineer slot. To then be told through text that that slot is no longer available and we have to wait another 2 weeks! We have had various phone calls with ao since. NOTHING has been sorted! even though they are all agreeing that we deserve a new washing machine they just keep saying "we will chase it up". Surely we are entitied to a replacement as we have a 2 year guarantee? We are still sitting here with a broken washing machine, nothing is sorted one month later. No one has updated us or bothered to sort the problem. It is very inconvenient finding somewhere to wash our clothes! & very frustrating speaking to ao customers as they are very unhelpful. It has been a nightmare. Please feel free to actually make a effort to replace our washing machine ASAP! Invoice number: AOL202606889

I definitely do not recommend it. They offer goods that they do not have, I advise against buying on their account on Amazon. Defeat.

Absolutely, dreadful company. Avoid at all costs!! Bought and paid for integrated fridge freezer with installation and TWICE they arrived to deliver the item without the correct installation team. Two days wasted off work as they give you a 7am-7pm delivery time, only confirming your 4 hour slot on the day. Had to throw out a freezer load of food as it had semi defrosted twice in 5 days and couldn’t be re frozen. Unprofessional, incompetent organisation.

Donnot let AO fit your appliances the staff are very badly trained. I bought an interrelated fridge, excatly the same model as fridge it was replacing so should have been no issue fitting. When they had finished the installation the cupboard doors fell off as they had drilled so many holes in the back trying to fit the doors to the fridge. Luckily my cupboard doors are still in production or my whole kitchen would have been ruined. 5 weeks later I am still waiting for AO to admit liability & pay for the replacement doors. Never will I use them again.

Returning electrical faulty washing machine of 3 months old is impossable, they are also rude, unhelpful and just don't care. DO NOT BUY FROM AO.COM

Faulty Hotpoint fridge freezer which they won't fix. Also I can't put a review on ao website as it's been 12 months since I bought it.surely that's the best time to review

AO claim to match other companies prices if lower. I contacted them 4 days ago with genuine details of a lower price including delivery, installation and removal of a double oven. The AO respondent on-line appeared to accept the details and said he had asked the sales team to contact me. After 3 days there was no response so asked the on-line respondent to remind the sales team again which he did. Clearly the sales team have no interest as I have still not received any call.

Ordered the laptop and my order was cancelledon the delivery day for "security reason". I will get my money back in 3 to 5 working days. A complete BS. I hope i will vet my money back though

Appalling customer service by AO. I purchased three items to be delivered and fitted and date was arranged for delivery. I had to reschedule delivery timeslot due to emergency at work and called customer services to explain. The customer services assistant was very helpful and said he would arrange to have the order delivered during an afternoon timeslot. On day of delivery, driver phoned to inform that the items were being delivered in the morning (the time when I informed the company I could not take delivery). When I explained my phone call with the customer services assistant, he said that was inaccurate information. I subsequently phone the call centre to be told by someone else that a timeslot was not possible when having an item installed. At no time when placing the order initially or during my subsequent call to the call centre regarding delivery, was I told of this. Serious problems with training personnel in this company resulting in false and misleading information being given to customers. Result was I have had to cancel my order and begin whole purchase process again with different company. A complete waste of time, and no attempt on part of AO to resolve this for me! Beware!

Ordered a fridge in black and set it up in pantry. We had a few dull weeks of weather but when the sun did come out small dents can be seen over the lower half of the fridge which is very annoying. By this time it was too late to do anything. Also you buy online and get hassled on the phone with high pressure sales to try and get you to buy insurance. I now use other more reputable retailers even if the cost is a little more.

My daughter moved yesterday, had ordered fridge/freezer & washing machine for pm delivery, at 7 pm she got a call they were very nearby, went out, found them but they said there was nowhere to park, she told them where to go, they said they’d go round & see her in a few minutes but never showed up & now they say they can’t redeliver till Monday so she is left all weekend with no fridge. Disgraceful! Unreliable company, not to be trusted, would never use them again & would urge family & friends not to either

Everything went wrong. After I ordered goods I receieved a call feom customer services about my purchase and I was ensured everything will be delivered together. Here I am TV at home and other 3 applianves should be delivered later today. Then driver called me that their van broke down, but somebody will definitelly come later today, as there is standby driver who will deliver it. 2 hours later phone call from call centre it wont be dwlivered today. Absolutelly terrible service. I took day off and prepared all stuff for new appliances. Sold cooker yesterday and now I am left with nothing! Do not order from this company ever. If you do, count with terrible customer service. Feeling disgusted.

Gas Hob (Candy GL64SGX) had a fault, with one of the burners not lighting/staying on. The warranty had expired by 7 months, but all they could offer were expensive repair options, and were quite happy to pass the buck to Candy (who also similarly wouldn't offer any kind of gesture of goodwill). When challenged, they're happy to throw back consumer rights acts 2015 legislation back to you (to clarify they're not liable and that you need to prove the item is faulty at your cost) rather than offer any kind of real meaningful assistance, or gesture of goodwill (same as were Candy - the manufacturer). In the end, it was a really simple fault which I safely resolved myself (via googling/youtube), but, again, I wasn't offered any kind of Technical Support/contact/know-how to possibly help resolve the issue myself (as were Candy). Overall, a very poor company to deal with, and I definitely won't ever be buying off them again due to this very poor customer service experience. You have been warned! There's plenty other online retailers out there who I've dealt with (even in the recent past) who (I believe) are much MUCH better with regards to such customer service experience when things go wrong (eg offering goodwill gestures).

goods were damaged on arrival and the customer service has been terrible, 6 weeks later and still nowhere nearer having a replacement. They are trying to get the manufacturer to organise replacement and I am waiting for them to liase!!! AO should be replacing it after that I don't care what they do.

placed online order and then the scammers took my money and said cant find your order. Bank sent the money. But AO refused to accept wanted me to pay again for the same product have to wait now seven days to dispute transaction. Poor customer service. Total Scam as far as I am concerned . I will Never ever again deal with these people. Pay extra to someone else . Also when you do call try and sell you some bogus warranty and get upset and helpful if you don't take it out. Awful Experience!!!!. still unresolved

Absolutely disastrous service. Will never use ao.com again. Partially installed new washing machine into our home and left, with us none the wiser. Used the machine for the first time, and it jumped around like crazy; damaging our kitchen floor, crashing into other appliances and shaking our work surface and appliances on top. Had to call a plumber out late at night - the installation men didn't take out the transit bolts! They'd left the bolts in the machine, which has now damaged the machine due to us using it. We also had a leak due to their negligence. Ao.com only gave us £20 as an apology. Disgusting. Stay clear of their service. Their installation men need to be re-trained!

Washing Machine- Live in Northern Ireland: Bought disconnect, reconnect and recycle service from AO, they forwarded to third party Bondelivery. They called at my home an hour later than 4 hour time slot to tell me they don't do disconnect!! Rang AO who said it was a mistake on website!! Took day off for nothing, they cannot refund the money for 48 hours! I told them to take the machine back and cancel order. Plagued by marketing calls from them too. Should have listened to friends/relatives who warned me. WOULD not deal with them again even if they were giving their stuff away.

I’d paid for my old appliance to be removed but the delivery driver refused to take it (even just to the outside of the property) due to the style of the old appliance not being like for like with the new one. I was not informed this could be an issue when I booked removal online, or during the pre delivery customer service phone call. I therefore couldn’t accept delivery of my new appliance and have been left without a working fridge freezer. Very disappointed.
