We're not disrupting an existing market, we're creating a new one. There are plenty of companies supplying commodity products at cheaper prices, it's the easy way in and so that's fair enough, we're not against that. However, through in depth market research it was established that there is a share of the market who are extremely fired up and passionate about the equipment they use and were looking for a more proactive supplier that could consistently supply not just the "market standard" level of product but a "best in the world" level of product, in each key area at a more affordable price.

Simply put our target market is passionate professionals who are seeking a supplier of the world's best products, world's best range, at a more affordable rate along with outstanding customer service.

First, Briony was very helpful. She fixed the website error in which the item was advertised for 1 price then it appeared in the cart to be more expensive!! Then your website suggested a cheaper option!!, which in fact is more expensive than the original price of the item that I ordered. The item was: Code 166452 for $48.85 Exc GST then at the cart it became $57.20 plus GST. I ordered items from your website around 1 year ago, when Yes just updated. It is more friendly now, but a price error like that should not occur!! Cheers, Danh

Loved using you guys! I would yell from the rooftops how efficient the team is. The order was received speedily, and I had full access to the tracking online. All the invoices and payments are online as well. The whole process took less than 20mins compared to any other supplier.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to have to wait 10 days to get your delivery across the country. We use an express courier service and they promise us 2-3 days to Perth so we have got our account manager looking into the reason for the delay on this consignment. Is there anything we can do to make it up to you? We would be very grateful to hear your thoughts on our offer of a $50 store credit to use towards a future purchase so we can demonstrate our usual 5-star service.

My ordered box of eye wash was missing and I was sent 10 packs of cotton tips instead of one. When I called and notified as soon as my order arrived, I was asked if I would use them, and if they could invoice me for them, to which I refused, I didn't want ten packs and I don't have the storage for them. Then I was told (not asked) to source a smaller box so they could be returned, and that I would be sent a label, for the courier to collect the following week, which never came. I asked for the missing eye wash to be packed with the second part of my order, which was going to be shipped in the next few days, to which they replied it would be, and it wasn't. The customer service was very lacking and the person was rude when I told them about their mistake. This was my first and last order as I can't afford to be chasing up someone else's mistake and be out of pocket for it.

My experience with Astir had been exceptional until my last order. The last order I placed was lost, despite speaking with a staff member on the day it was sent through, and after 10 days of no order arriving, I had to ring and enquire where the order was up to. It was only then that it was discovered the order was nowhere to be found. Once the order was resubmitted, it then took over 3 weeks for the order to be delivered in full, and then only last week I received an email to advise the order had been resubmitted and was being delivered the next day. I have no idea what was going on with your systems, but there was a gremlin somewhere. I was able to email your sales team and advise them I did not require the order again, but the time it has taken to sort out, follow up and check has been frustrating.

The app works very poorly sometimes unable to load as in now . Often when I order vie the app the order is incorrect. Perhaps there’s some glitches in the system?
