Bedstar.... such an interesting company to work with who have zero respect for their customers. Here's a copy of the email I just had to send them.... 1.I ordered the bedframe and 2 matching bed side tables on the 29th September, arranging delivery of all goods for Saturday 15th October as this was the day after I moved home and wanted a bed to sleep on in my unfurnished property. I also have a brand new £1,000 mattress that shouldn't be on the floor for too long that needed to be put on a bed frame. 2. Friday 14th October, 2 weeks after the date I ordered and a day before delivery was due I was advised that the bed side tables were out of stock until the 21st October and I would be advised when they would be delivered after this date. I accepted this as the most important thing was the bed frame. However in hindsight I am sure you would have had visibility of stock levels way before the day before the delivery date. 3. Saturday 15th October. I checked the xdp website via the link I was provided with by yourselves. The time on the website said delivery would be between 0906 and 1206 that day. As you can appreciate, the day after moving into a home you have plenty to be getting on with and we did need to leave the house so the idea of having the bed frame delivered at 1206 was ideal. I tried calling xpd around 1430 when I still hadn't received the bed frame. No answer. I tried calling your offices and no answer (I would suggest an answering machine or some kind of IVR to advise your customers of your opening hours). At around 1630 I received a phone call from the delivery driver asking me to come and help him with the boxes. I couldn't offer any help as I had a 4 yr old in the house with me and more importantly, I am not insured to assist a delivery driver. 4. The delivery driver put the phone down on me because I said I couldn't help. Two of the smaller boxes were brought to my front door. The third box, which was the heaviest and contained the headboard was bumped down the first set of concrete steps. I was then asked if he could remove the items from the box as he couldn't lift them. I asked him to make sure he is not damaging anything. By the time the headboard arrived at the bottom of the stairs it has a mark on it and was cracked in two or three places. The delivery driver refused to take the items back and said I just needed to sign and say there was damage. I signed the form and wrote 'damaged' before my signature. 5. My partner arrived home and started to remove the frame from the rest of the boxes and found it was damaged in several places, due to the delivery driver bumping it down the stairs. The largest box clearly states it requires 2 people to lift, we had 1 delivery driver. 6. I called your offices first thing Monday morning and spoke to Beth who advised she could help me and send a new bed frame out but first I must supply photos of the damage. Re-delivery was booked for today along with collection of the next bed. I requested that the bed is delivered by 2 people due to the issues we have faced at the weekend. I was advised this would be decided by the courier company and you do not usually have issues with delivery. I checked your Facebook page this morning and after reading through several posts I do not believe this for a minute as there are a number of negative posts. 7. I emailed Beth a photo of the box which states it needs 2 people to lift. I expressed my concerns again that it needs to be delivered this way otherwise we are risking the bed being delivered again. I finally got confirmation this would happen. 8. I asked for a refund of the delivery due to the inconvenience and bad customer service I have experienced. This was refused. 9. I received about 8 emails from the courier company advising the bed frame would be collected today and the new one would be delivered. I would be given a delivery time slot, however just to add to an already poor customer experience the two delivery times are one after another which means I need to stay in from 0900 to 1725 today. I know you are aware of these issues as I am clearly not the first customer to experience this level of service, I would like to understand from you why you feel the service detailed above means I should still have to pay £30 for delivery? To break it down in terms of my time I have spent time on Friday calling you, Saturday dealing with the delivery man, which yes, was to be expected. I spent time on Monday calling your offices at 0900 and 1000. I sent emails after both phone calls and throughout the day to Beth. I have spent time writing this email this morning and have to wait in all day due to your companies poor choice in courier company (I suggest you address this poor choice of partner, fast). I am well within my right to be requesting more than just the £30 delivery charge back from yourselves. Just to add to this.... I have just had the courier turn up to collect the bed frame. One poor man on his own. He can't even physically lift the box as its a SUPER KING BED. I called your customer services and asked why you have organised for one person to come and collect a box when I sent you a photo yesterday which showed this is a 2 person job. The response I got from Beth 'you said it was a 2 man delivery...' If it takes 2 men to deliver it do you think it might take 2 men to collect it?! Beth then asks why one man seems to be able to deliver it yet one person can't collect it. Beth seems to have forgotten that I called her yesterday morning to tell her the bed is currently broken because the delivery man bumped it down about 20 concrete stairs.... She then asks me to take more time off work so they can arrange for a collection on another day. I say no I am busy all week, they say sorry that's all they can do..... I ask her why she doesn't call the courier company to ask if they can get the people that are delivering to days bed to collect the broken bed. She point blank refuses. This is the most disgusting service I have ever experienced in my life. Bedstar take no responsibility for health and safety of their couriers. They don't care about their customers and they believe in process rather than people. Shame on you.

The stitching on the base was poor and already coming undone. Two of the wheels looked corroded. Needed a bed desperately so had no choice but to use. Purchased through a corporate offers site and you've still not acknowledged and paid appropriate points.

Ordered bed on Monday and chose delivery Wednesday. Had email confirmation on the morning of the delivery that it would be delivered between 7am and 7pm. Took a day off work to wait in. Had people pick my children up from school so I could stay in. Bed did not get delivered. When I rang bedstar and they said it was the couriers fault and that it was in t and c's that it was not guaranteed to be delivered on the day you choose. Awful customer service. My advice is to buy from somewhere else that might be a little more expensive but has a better reputation and better customer service. Will not be buying from these again.

The products look stylish. However we had a weld failure on one bed. I asked for a replacement part. However after three sets of photo and video evidence BEDSTAR stopped replying to my emails. I still have a broken bed but have a broken bed. Quick to sell but not so much on the aftersales. Disappointed. However they could contact me to sort the issue.

Ordered a bed frame on a Saturday and was assured delivery on a Tuesday (by email confirmation and the website). Having taken a full day off work on Tuesday, no delivery. The next few days were farcical with XDP (Delivery company) poor customer service only being matched by Bedstar's - as they had me wait at home another two times before the bed frame was actually delivered. I am a regular online shopper but my experience with Bedstar is absolutely the worst transaction I have ever endured - hopeless and inept from start to finish, excuse after excuse. I ordered a mattress 8th June with specified delivery date of 14th, so they had 6 days to get it to me. No delivery 14th, eventually arrived 15th but badly damaged and unusable. Second one despatched, failed to arrive on agreed day, eventually arrived 4 hours outside the agreed delivery slot by which time I had cancelled the order. After numerous emails and phone calls and many hours spent sorting it out they eventually gave me a refund on 23rd July - 6 weeks after I had paid. They simply don't care about customers once they have your money. Yes they are cheap, but use them at your peril.

Awful customer service bed never arrived as promised despite a booked delivery. Courier company informed us that the driver had finished for the day @ 5pm but we were still awaiting our delivery which had a booked slot of 12-4pm. NO help from either bedstar or Panther the courier company. Bed paid via paypal so dispute claim raised. Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid

Bedstar.co.uk OMG customer services. (CLUELESS) bed frame damaged And They sent me the wrong mattresse. On the website it said Spring mattresses And they sent me form mattresses rolled. so now I have to send them back and pay £40 YOU will laugh at this. they sent me a email saying they Change the web Page. Giveing everyone a choice to chose from. Befor it said Spring mattresses so customers i would think twice. How low can they go just take your money.

very poor services bed damaged and the website is terrible. i order a guest bed and you have a choice mattresses or none i order 2 they just send me rolled mattresses no information and now they want to charge me £40 to send back. SHAME ON YOU

Well where to start ! Ordered bed waited weeks, lost our bed for two weeks, said bed been found after changed suppliers ! Asked us to wait in 4 Saturday's and never showed up ! Office not open on weekends ! People at head office rude ! Eventually sent us a cheque that's wrong and less ! Terrible experience !

One star is being extremely generous. Whilst the product was great, it was not the right one. It was also delivered late! The delivery men did not drop it into the room of my choice which it states on their website. Having chased for over a month to get them to replace the incorrect items, they expect me to disassemble the incorrect parts, dispose of these, and then fix the correct ones. Without doubt the WORST customer service in the world, never again will I shop here

After being let down by another company I found bedstar after reading some reviews I decided to place my order with them. I ordered a bedframe and paid a £15 delivery charge, as stated on there website is several places "lead time of 3-5 working days" and "3-5 days" as I'm currently sleeping on a matress on the floor thought delivery would been quick so it's not a problem. The 6th day came and still no delivery when I contacted them via email (several times) I had no response so I phoned them (several times) and was advised it was an "estimate of 3-5 days" but nowhere on the website dose it say "estimate". Don't advertise a "leadtime" if you can't stick with it?! I have since asked for a refund so I can find another company to order with (3rd company lucky I suppose) as it came to the 9th working day and still no sign of the frame turning up, I am again now having to chase them for my refund... quick enough to take my money but not quick enough to give it back! Extremely disappointed will not be recommending and definitely won't be ordering for here again as constantly chasing for something they strongly advertise they can deliver in a short leadtime, 2nd company to let me down on the same bedframe!

Horrible company with zero customer service skills. They sent me ripped mattress, badly damaged my newly redecorated property and blamed every single person on Earth except themselves. Avoid by all means. I'm going to start court process against them

I would give zero starts if I could. My bed was late. Then, a completely different bed turned up. The bed that turned up is absolutely hideous and looks completely different to the one I ordered.

THE MOST WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED SO FAR. ORDERED BED AND MATTRESS. WAITING FOR MONTHS ALREADY AND AT THE END WHEN WE FINALLY RECEIVED IT, MATTRESS WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG. THEY EVEN DON'T THINK TO GET IN TOUCH ALL THIS TIME, WE HAVE TO CHASE THEM... STILL NO ANSWERS....BUT IF THE TALK IS ABOUT MONEY, IT WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOU IN SECOND TIME...

Really disappointed with the service and product. Delivery people didn't knock on door, just put 'sorry you're not in' slip through my letterbox… the only reason I ordered through this company was quick delivery… so my daughter slept on the floor that night! They re-delivered, the delivery man bolted before I had a chance to look at the product… when I took the bed frame out of the packaging, the paintwork had chipped off in three or four places. Won't use this company again.

Mediocre and unhelpful customer service. Delivery time was between 7am and 7pm with an estimated window 12am to 3pm. Had to stay all day un the house but was absent for 45mn. Asked to be called when courier at adress but they failed such a simple request. Delivery missed, no calls from anyone.

So far not good, ordered bed and was able to choose delivery date, no contact from them to advise it was not coming, I called bedstar and they advised sorry it won't be delivered today but it might be the next day but as they were closed on Saturday here is the number to call xpd and they will tell you if it will be delivered. So here I am waiting in for another day unable to contact xpd as straight to voicemail, so who knows when I am going to get my bed.

Received mattress and Divan, but it was not the bed I had ordered, in the picture it was all white only the mattress looked the same, the Divan and headboard his black. I sent the complaints form with the pictures as of yet I have had no reply. Another problem is the fixing holes on the headboard only has two fixings, the divan and headboard is very poor quality
