Purchased 2 single beds last year and they were faulty. The customer service department insisted that I kept faulty bed but would not offer any discount. The management have no clue about customer care. I sent them photos and they still insisted that the fault was under the bed so could not be seen. So why charge full amount for faulty bed?The bed depth measurements incorrect on their website. I had to go through trading Standards and credit card company to get a refund and they wanted to charge me to return their faulty beds. It took them 4 weeks to collect the faulty beds and it another 2 weeks to refund me. I do not recommend Bedstar as Customer service department not helpful an do not have listening or understanding skills. The delivery company were more sympathetic than Bedstar.

Although the bed quality is good, the general lack of support or care from the company on problems is shocking. The bed delivery got cancelled on the actual day of delivery and I then had to wait 4 days without a bed for it to get re-delivered. Despite choosing my actual bed delivery day was then told that it was never guaranteed to be delivered on this day! Secondly, the sample they sent me did not match the actual fabric on the bed they delivered. They tried to tell me the sample I was comparing against was a different colour but when I proved it to be the same, they simply said "The samples we have sent out may have come from a different roll of fabric which may have a slight difference in shade". Not that helpful when you order a bed to the sample. No apology or attempt to placate me, I just got "I am unsure as to how I can help further. " Will never buy from again.

Order & payment made 28th Dec 2017. Delivery due on 9th Jan 2018. Delivery cancelled on 8th Jan 2018, the day before the promised delivery & I was advised of 4 week delay on stock coming in, why was I not advised earlier? Refunds will take 5 days, no compensation. Company Response: I had signed terms & conditions to accept this level of service! I had accepted T&C's, however this is appalling customer service. Shop around-don't use this company.

I ordered a bed to be delivered today, 22nd December as I just moved to my new place. I got delivered this morning only half of it??? Just the mattress and half of the frame!! I called and I was told it was supplier's fault so I won't be getting it until January!! Whose idea is to deliver the items with missing parts?? What do I do with half of a frame??? Absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable!! I have never experienced something like that. I demand the rest of the bed asap or my full refund.

Arrived in filthy packaging. Order incomplete on delivery although all communication said otherwise. Advised by delivery man the headboard would follow the next day. On this information accepted order and began to put bed together. The packaging had to be cut in little strips to avoid the dirt coming off on to the bed. Then found that one glider does not fit in its place, one drawer connector doesn’t work so the drawer either sticks inside or sits out of line outside. Poor quality all round. Received email afterwards to say the headboard had not even been made as the material (matching the base) had run out. No indication at all of what was happening with the headboard, or when I may have a resolution. Would NEVER have accepted the bed base without assurance of the headboard coming the next day. Will not keep the bed due to poor faults and poor quality once opened. Truly awful company. AVOID!

I ordered two beds and took a day off of work in order to be there to receive the delivery. I remained home between the hours of 7am-7pm (as they were not able to provide a more specific time). Despite the fact that I received a phone call the day before, confirming that the beds would be delivered, 7pm passed and the beds had still not arrived. I found this quite surprising as not only did the tracking log provided by XDP claim that the beds would arrive between 4:27pm and 6:27pm but also because the carrier was monitored at 12.20pm to be no more than 20 minutes from my home. Resultantly, despite assurances that the delivery would be on that day, my heavily pregnant wife and I were left without a bed were consigned to sleeping on mattresses on the floor. Moreover, due to the fact that both bedstar and xdp's phone lines are uncontactable at 7pm, we were unable to establish where our delivery was or what had happened. We were not contacted by a driver to inform us of any lateness and frankly this lack of communication and failure to deliver a product in a timely manner (especially when the time given stretched over 12 hours, forcing buyers to stay home from work!) was unacceptable. However, our experience only got worse when our bed was finally delivered, after emailing a complaint, over the weekend when we were not home. The courier had broken into our garden and left both beds out, in the open and presumably forged our signature to confirm we had 'received the package'. After complaining again to Bedstar about this, and explaining that leaving the beds in the open caused damage to the headboard. The blame was shifted to the courier (despite their legal responsibility) and a replacement headboard was sent out, taking a week to arrive! Avoid at all costs!

Terrible company. Charged £45 for delivery which was late. The bed was roughly made, incorrect parts and rude, incompetent staff dealing with enquiries. Will never deal with this company again.

Ordered Airsprung Quattro guest bed on 2 November and the website said it was in stock but with a lead time of around 2 to 3 weeks. I bought it and the website said the company would contact me once delivery could be arranged. So I waited three weeks for the email to come through. Nothing heard on the date in question so I phoned up and was told that the bed was due in soon and I should hear from the courier. I waited another week and nothing. I chased up again and was told it wasn’t their issue it was the courier used by Airsprung. I am sorry, but my contract is with Bedstar to supply a bed and you cannot wriggle out of delivering to consumer rights just by saying it is someone else’s issue. Finally has a call today from the courier only to be told the earliest they can deliver is 13th December, some 6 weeks after I placed my order. Talk about misleading advertising....I wonder if trading standards will be interested....my next email is to them....

Waste of time, pay for next day delivery and still no bed almost a week later despite chasing daily. The customer service is shocking and they would not process a refund so I could go and buy a replacement elsewhere

Ordered Kaydian bed in middle of August and the website said it was in stock but with a lead time of around 14 days. I bought it and the website said the company would contact me once delivery could be arranged. So I waited two weeks for the email to come through. Nothing heard on the date in question so I phoned up and was told "sorry, we won't have that in stock until 16th October" I was pretty hacked off to hear that. So I patiently waited the extra 6 weeks for it to come into the warehouse. On 16th October I check the website and it now says 'out of stock until 20th November'. I phoned up and the lady at the other end confirms that date with the supplier. I'm a pretty patient person, but over 3 months wait for a bed is ridiculous, so I've asked for a refund. Without me chasing the company, I'm pretty sure I'd still be waiting for an email in another 3 months time. Very poor service. I bought a Kaydian bed with a different company today, who very kindly confirmed it was definitely in stock, and arranged for delivery in 4 days' time. Avoid Bedstar, unless you like waiting months for nothing to happen.

Nightmare company - charged £99 for what were, ultimately, their own failings. Unhelpful customer service - with phone calls I am over £100 out of pocket - have old bed still but now damaged. Avoid this company - please.

Appalling experience. Could not get mattress into bedroom, despite same size mattresses having been in that room previously. Panthergroup were polite and dealt with my concerns. Bedstar were appalling - bed undelivered - old bed damaged and not being taken away - fridge moved and not replaced - sculpture falling off wall after they had left (had been there for 15 years with no problems). I am being charged £99 for Bedstars series of failures - bed was a week late despite being offered next day delivery and requesting it a week later. Did not come first time - no apoligies - had to sort out myself. Customer service is non-existent. I found the whole experience with Bedstar distressing and expensive and have absolutely nothing but a phone bill and a charge of £99 being taken from me - no bed - still have old one but damaged. Avoid this company at all costs.

Really poor quality bed collapsed when my son slept on it. Really disappointed in the standard of the bed. It arrived and the packaging was soaking wet and the slats for the bed were so flimsy it was clear the quality was weak but at 2am when my son started screaming it was clear that how poor the quality was.

.worst internet purchase I ever had... I ordered a mattress, pillows and mattress protectors. It was supposed to be delivered all in one day. It came in three parts and not the day I asked for. The mattress protectors did not look like anything I saw on the web and it came cling film wrapped. It looked dirty and cheap. The ones I saw on their website (and what I thought I had ordered) were double sided with fabric and looked of very good quality. I contacted the customer service team and asked for my money back. Their comment was that I should have read the small print saying that you will get something LIKE that but not necessarily what is depicted. I told them that this is unacceptable. I was advised to send it back but I have to pay for postage which is not refundable. The customer service agent was less than sympathetic and rather rude. Do not by from BEDSTAR!!!

"I will revisit this review once I get the order. They've sent me a small double mattress, 3.5 sprung unit, soft to medium worth £109.00 instead of the £400 double, medium - firm mattress I have paid for. I am currently sleeping on the sofa until this issue is resolved!"

Awful! I bought an ottoman bed from BedStar which arrived with a dent in it and scratched inside. To their credit this was replaced really quickly. The second bed frame however was even worst. One side of the frame had a wobbly seam with eye-sore staples all over it. I reported this to BedStar and was told this wasn't a manufacturing defect and would have to pay £45 for collection! It clearly wasn't advertised on the website, the seam is so wobbly and badly put together if that's not a manufacturing defect, what is?! Furthermore the lid of the ottoman does not close straight. On one side it's about 0.6cm out. They take AGES to respond and are extremely incompetent. Will probably be doing a chargeback, luckily I bought it on credit card! Avoid!!
