Thought I'd try this company one last time after they got my order wrong three times in a row. This time they managed to get my order correct and remembered to actually include the receipt for once! It seems like Christmas was a hard time for them judging by everyone else's reviews and my own experience. Although I cannot deny that they stock great beers with hard to beat prices. To improve the service they need to communicate better with their customers, and inform them if they can't send a certain beer for whatever reason. Instead they just seem to ignore the issue until you contact them (I'm still waiting for a beer from last month). It would be nice if they asked to substitute a beer if they find they didn't have the one you ordered in stock rather than to just leave it completely and proceed to send the package without the missing item. Although going on from this point, the delivery is always quick and gets dispatched the same day or next day, but what is the point if it doesn't contain what you ordered? Previously I pre-ordered the advent calendar in September/October and couldn't fault the service or product. If it wasn't for all the hassle after Christmas I would have given this company a much higher rating, but I was just let down again and again (mainly because of the customer service). In summary I will use the company again until they give me more reasons not too, but would I recommend to a friend? Probably not, as of now. They need to improve or they'll be left behind, theres an awful lot of new upcoming beer websites that'll happily take their business away.

Very quick and efficient delivery; some good beers. However I was disappointed that only 29 beers were sent rather than 30 paid for, with no word of explanation from you. I had to ring up and you checked that the missing beer (BH 1097) was indeed out of stock, and that the cost would be credited (which it was). It really should not have been down to me to check this out and report it.

Brian, Oh no delivering 1 short certainly is not great and one which should not happen. We aim to provide the full service and sadly we failed. We are putting processes in place to ensure this does not happen again. Cheers Stu

When delivered my order was a beer short and two of the compartments within one of the boxes held more than one bottle of beer with a bottle inverted on top of another. I telephoned to raise the issue and received a refund of £5 to compensate for the missing bottle. I would have given a 'poor' rating overall but for the helpful lady I spoke to who promptly issued the refund. Whether I order again is another matter.

I am a big user of Beer Hawk. Great beer, a little bit on the expensive side, but I can access what I want. Terrible website however, not at all intuitive, so hard to navigate, especially on a modern iPhone etc. Unless you are buying a mixed case and then you get too much rubbish thrown in.

Bought Mystery case along with a gift pack(present) in my opinion only there were too many cans and small sized bottles, flavoured beer with mango, tea, pineapple or anything else is just wrong, would i have ordered this case knowing whats in it ? definitely NO

Delivery arrived 4 beers short. After 2 emails and a 2 hour live chat that was ended by your representative with no answer the money refunded. Poor service for a first time customer

Delivery came quickly, but one of the beers I received was wrong (received Lost Coast's Indica instead of Sharkinator) - tried emailing your customer service but received no reply :-(

The website and initial communications from them were prompt and informed me as to what was going to happen with my order. The bad news is that delivery was undertaken by ParcelForce. On the tracking details site it said they had tried to deliver several times, and because no-one was home they returned to the depot. I find this hard to believe, as the I know for a fact that there were people at the delivery address at those times. Beer Hawk needs to find a new courier service. If it means the courier cost goes up - fine. At least the product will then get delivered, and not sit in a depot getting warm.

I ordered three beers about three weeks ago and have only received two. After my original order was delivered to the wrong address, (the delivery company is impossible to get a hold of once they think your parcel has been delivered, they don't want to speak to you at all). I contacted BeerHawk, who magically found my parcel and had it redelivered the next day. Great! Except, one beer is missing. Over the past two weeks I have been on the phone four times to find out what is going on and when I can expect my order to arrive or when I can be refunded for it? No one seems to know anything. Still in the process, hoping for a happy ending, but at this rate I would hesitate to order from BeerHawk again. I wish it wasn't so!

Only part of the order arrived for Christmas. I called at least 25 times to a department that said I had to call another number that never answered. Then someone promised me a call back with an explanation of why my order wasn't fully delivered. I have never received a call back or had an apology of any sort.

Too much packaging! We got a huge box with like 16 slots for one little can! Out of the 4 beers we ordered, one was not sent. But customer service was excellent - quick and kind, and we received it within a couple of days or so. But, well, with too much packaging. Oh, and the original order was left outside our door, and not with a neighbour as we had requested. This is a house with pretty much no yard, so a box with "BEER" written on it was left practically on the sidewalk. I guess it was pure luck it was still there when we got home.

Can't speak for the quality of the beer because it was a gift for my brother. However web site was easy to use , and beer was despatched in a timely manner, I think. One thing I would say is that an email to let me know when it was despatched would have been much appreciated.

The beer itself was great. But I was told it could take up to 5 days to process. Not a problem. 11 days later still no beer. Then the courier emails me on day 12 saying going to deliver. Track my delivery and it was delayed. Couldn't find my address apparently. After many phone calls, I tracked down my beer and had to pick up myself from depot.Just in case driver got lost

Ordered a package of perfect draft and 1 keg for a Christmas present for my husband. E- mailed beer hawk prior to delivery and was told it would be guaranteed for Christmas delivery. Keg arrived but no perfect draft machine so e- mailed again after Christmas to be told it would be re-ordered. E-mailed again prior to new year to be told it would arrive that day. When delivered the driver told us it had only been dispatched the day before... 12 days after I had originally ordered. With that all in mind I will still order from company and hopefully this was just due to the time of year, keg and machine has went down well as a late Christmas present.

I would like to have given a better review but as I received the kegs but no machine for Christmas Day I was extremely disappointed, as well as out of pocket. There was no reply from yourselves until well after Christmas and whilst the person I dealt with was very pleasant and apologetic it didn't change the fact I had to spend a lot of money on beer because I was unable to use the kegs. I also never received a reply from the courier until after they had actually delivered the machine. In saying all that, my husband does love the machine.

I placed an order on December 7th for a Christmas gift for my partner. The website specified that there was an 8 day wait for my order. After 8 days I called as my item had yet not been dispatched and the lady on the phone said that she would contact the warehouse and follow up. She explained that I would receive an email and a partial refund. I received neither. I made contact again by email and then my item did arrive on the 24th December which is why I give them an average rating but I was worried just before Christmas .

The customer service since an error has been somewhat mixed, but this did all start after an apparent courier error where half my order went missing. Initially, I was told the rest of the order would follow, but this didn't happen before Christmas. I contacted again to be told something had in fact gone wrong and a new order was made. After the early bumblings, the solution was found and everything arrived in time for New Year's eve. I will continue to shop with Beerhawk given the strength of the customer service in the end, but there is a little room for improvement!

The products are great and I have no complaints. Sadly my experience overall was not great, I assume a Christmas related blip as my purchases had to be delivered in 3 separate deliveries after re-ordering via conversations with customer services. However customer services (Beth Campbell) were very helpful and great to deal with, hence my overall score. I hope that future serveys will come out as 9 or 10.
