There are constant issues with my broadband and home phone line. They have sent me letters saying work will be carried out in my area of which services may be intermittent on that day up until 4pm. 4pm comes and goes with services still down I check their website where it's been updated to another time of 6pm. 6pm comes around and yet again the timeframe has been moved to 9pm. This keep happening until around 11pm or 12pm. This has happened multiple times now and I'm trying to work from home in an ecommerce role where you can imagine having a stable internet connection is vital. Other than that I have constant drop outs of service like today. With no notification of service interruption. I checked their website and yet again it says there are issues in the area. Again saying the deadline for this fix is 3pm. But obviously that means nothing to them. I booked in an engineer to visit my property with a AM timeframe only to wait around all day up until 8pm when no one turned up. Their customer service is terrible offering no support or compensation for these constant interruptions. Spending over an hour on hold totalling up to 4 hours trying to resolve my issues bout my services. I've made 4 complaint with their team of which nothing was resolved. I genuinely have never seen such poor service from a company.

Paid three months upfront in September. Promised install ahead of business opening. Appealing, offensive, inept customer service. Four failed attempts at install. Had to buy temporary mifi, no compensation, no proper apology, still no service months later. Avoid avoid avoid. Hurrendous, by far the worst experience I've ever had as a customer of any company... Ever. Hours and hours wasted with them.

Virgin’s customer service is simply awful, possibly the worst that I have ever experienced. When I ring up to make general enquiries I’m met with forced marketing and offers that I’d never requested. In one instance, whilst online with a chat representative I signed up to receive a £30 discount on the installation of my virgin package. I had asked for both broadband and landline and in the end all I was left with was broadband but at an even higher cost than was originally listed, with no trace of the discount promised. I tried to contact them in order to lodge a complaint to which the response was that I’d be contacted in 14 days. Two months down the line and I still had not once heard from them. I find it absolutely disgraceful that I didn’t receive a call back as promised and when you do in fact try to get in contact with them over the phone you only get through to an automated server. I wouldn’t recommend their services at all. Don’t sign up with Virgin, they’re a terrible company.

Customer service. Just impossible to access. So if there is a service problem one simply cannot get through. And of course cannot cancel / amend / sort direct debit / etc one is frighteningly trapped. Avoid at all costs.

It’s not as fast as advertised and it’s very expensive. Broadband nearly twice the price of competitors for my area. Customer service is a joke and they make cancelling very difficult. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Hi all, trying to get through using my phone to Virgin, listening their music already 40 min, hope somebody will answer. i just got into contract with them for 18 mnths and speed is awful, nothing even close what they have promised. so sad. just taking money off and no quality of service back.

Horrific customer service. Avoid! Spent 7 hours on 6 different calls and chats trying to resolve an overcharging issue that was their mistake and was repeatedly lied to. In the end they closed the complaint without resolution. They do not care at all.

Appalling: Virgin Media could train other companies in how NOT to do customer service. After many years as a VM customer, I cancelled in protest at how they treat loyal customers whilst courting new customers. I was over-charged on my final bill and they took nine months to respond to my complaint with a really lame response: "refer to self-care" (what does that even mean?!) When I told them that I did not accept their response, they sent me exactly the same answer! I have had to escalate the complaint to ombudsman just to try to get something done about this truly terrible company. NEW CUSTOMERS: AVOID VIRGIN MEDIA.

Train your team that answer the phones! Awful...spoke to several lately..deadpan responses.. get Sky to train them! Brilliant customer services from them...

You have to pay to use their phone support line even if you're already a paying customer. Their internet speed is NEVER even close to being as fast as advertised. They take hours to respond to support messages, truly awful service on all fronts. NEVER BUY VIRGIN MEDIA BROADBAND!

We've had daily problems with the internet connection for almost two years. After at least six visits from engineers it's been decided we need a new cable. A team came yesterday to do the work and simply disappeared. After four hours on the phone trying to get through through and being disconnected twice.... got through to a woman who yawned her way through the conversation.... said she would phone back.... and of course... didn't. The customer service is absolutely appalling. We are paying for a service that is not fit for purpose. Is no one monitoring what is going on at the call centres???

Shocking Wifi, Shocking customer service. They have amazing theoretical download speeds but its irrelevant because the way the service is set up is bonkers. I cannot wait to move to another supplier

Awful service, no one ever answers the phone, internet goes down with no explanation for ages (8 days and counting currently). Avoid like the plague. If there was a minus stars option I would give it that.

The phone number was not ported from Sky as requested. This is my business number. It's on.my van, stationery and all my adverts. We have spent well over 10 hours trying to get through to Virgin. The phone rings for an HOUR then cuts you off! When you do get through to someone, after waiting for an hour to get through, they transfer you and guess what, you get cut off. Nobody is prepared to take ownership and sort out the problem, which is most likely costing me money in missed calls. We now want it all taken out. Disconnect the lot of it and I will stick to freeview. For a communications company, I have never experienced anything like it, absolutely disgraceful (and they will use covid as an excuse which I dont buy at all). Arguably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Oh, they were very quick to bill and take the £98 first bill!

Internet connectivity with Virgin is the worst I have ever experienced. Signal is up & down by the minute from 0.3 to 100 & then back down again a moment later. Avoid at all costs unless you want to end up sticking pencils in your ears!

Well after being on hold for over 1 hour and trying to get black friday deal for phone and free tv had go do this on phone 8 times then on laptop. Sign in to virgin meda try getting deal again got 2 last page credit check. To be told Iam not an virgin consumer off virgin that's funny so how do get my internet and tv and phone then dose mean I don't owe vergin anything for rest my years contact. Joke company joke coustmer services.

Awful customer service, awkward interface for their TV channels and unreliable cable network. Our WiFi has been down for more than 24 hours again... very disruptive when trying to work from home.

Bad signal and expensive service. Also, it is very hard to contact the call center. I have to wait for hrs to get to talk to the team. Not recommended!
