Can't believe you need to pay for returning an Item, its crazy that in these times with the increase in on-line shopping that we have to pay for a return....

Brought 3 pairs of jeans at the beginning of April had to send them back as I needed a bigger size. Hermes came and collected them to returned to the company. I’m still awaiting a refund of £54, when I contacted customers services the member of staff said that PayPal were bouncing the refunds and that a manager was trying to sort out the problem. I contacted PayPal and apparently this isn’t the case the problem is Bonmarche so I have now had to open a dispute to get a refund through PayPal. Won’t be using the online service again with Bonmarche if refunding people is going to be such a problem, such a shame as I always trusted this company. Looking online there are many customers who are also experiencing problems with getting refunds. Very poor and disappointing

As you haven't seen fit to publish my review even though you sent me an email requesting one I thought I would submit one direct to you on here. Your utterly incompetent carrier Hermes lost the item I had ordered with next day premium delivery. No offer was made to redespatch the item and I simply got an email five days later to say the item was lost and I would be refunded. This was extremely annoying and disappointing as the item was a present.

Ordered two tshirts and two trousers . After week they called and said that they don’t have the trousers which I chose. But they will send the T-shirts. Haven’t recived my order in two months. When I call to the office, they say that they can’t do the refund. Very bad experience.

I have been a customer with Bonmarche for a number of years and have always considered them a good company to deal with; that is until my recent returned parcel to them, has been undelivered by the post office. Happy in the knowledge I had a post office proof of posting receipt I rang Bonmarche helplin e enquiring about my refund and the representative there made a note and said she would action the steps necessary to refund my money. In order to put the matter in writing, I wrote to customer service and outline what had taken place, only to be told a different story, that Bonmarche are not like all other companies I have dealt with, inasmuch as they won't refund, until my parcel turns up at their warehouse, leaving me to pick up the tab of £74 for goods I don't have and which I have returned to them and have proof of postage of doing so. I am a 75 year old pensioner who cannot afford to lose almost the equivalent of a week's pension because Bonmarche has a policy of not accepting proof of postage to reimburse me for goods I have sent back. To be honest I am shocked at the way I have been treated. This isn't what loyal customers deserve or expect in my opinion and I am very saddened and disappointed that Bonmarche thinks that this insensitive behaviour is acceptable to their elderly customers. I have a lot of friends who feel the same and are as disgusted as I am.

Worst customer service ever, keep items that don’t belong to them , ignore emails, and make you pay for items you don’t have, don’t go near this company if you don’t want ripped off.

Walsall Store Visited today (25/10/2019) during my lunch break to collect an on line order so was pushed for time. Tried on & kept 3 of the items but wanted to exchange the 4th for another design. Both female assistants (especially the blonde one) on the till were unprofessional and unhelpful saying the exchange could not be done unless I paid a further £3.60 for an item of the same price, which should have had 20% off. They then offered me my 10% bonus off instead but but then said that couldn't be done either. The manager was called and completed the transaction without any delay even though the blonde assistant kept saying you won't be able to do it!. Unprofessional, rude staff. They could do with some customer service training. Manager was the opposite so, thank you to him. He was calm, professional & treated me with respect

West Bromwich Store Went to the above store for nightclothes for my mother. Great sale. Buy one get one half price. Took two nightiies to till to be told they were not in the sale. Assistant checked the rail and said staff had made a mistake with the sale stickers. Good customer service would have been we will honour our mistake but no it was 10%discount or no sale. If the queue wasn't so long I would have argued the point. I will not shop again due to bad customer service. Maybe head office should speak to the staff to get labels sorted.

Tried twice this week to shop in wy vele bon marche. Both times too busy with just one member of staff working. Ridiculous on a savings week, wanted to place an online order but knew t would take ages, Have just given up, management need to manage so there is enough staff

Had to send returns back at my own expense (cannot get to the shop, that's why I ordered online) and even though I sent all the items back, I have not received a postage refund

Bought a swimsuit. Agent left security tag on so was unusable. After several emails and threatening legal action , got a reply from a Charles Tate asking me to post back the swimsuit and proof of purchase. Did this over 5 weeks ago. No replies from any of my emails asking what is happening. Head Office unable and unwilling to assist. Am out of pocket for item and postage now. Wouldn't shop there again. Wonder why their branches are closing down.....

Went to basildon store to collect my online order greeted by a surley plump young lady with pulled back black hair who made me feel like an inconvenience when I asked if my order was in. As I couldn't remember the exact day I placed my order . I was told that it takes a week to deliver to store I would receive a phone call when it had been delivered . I started to shop at this store as my sister in London uses it and decided to use the online shopping site as well ,bad move I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable as I was today . The funny thing was after i returned home I received a phone call to say it was there nasty women bad customer service.
