After being disconnected without warning (and in error)by TalkTalk I was desperate to have my service restored. Talk Talk said it would be 7-10 days before they would reconnect bit not on full fibre as it was not available in my area. This despite them connecting me to a full fibre network for the Previous 18 months and City Fibre confirming this I turned to Brillband. From the minute of first contact I knew I had made the right choice. I was treaded like a valued customer, eero router dispatched and received the next day and connection two days after. Brilliant service, UK contact centre, clear billing and faultless 100% recommend.

Having had virgin broadband forever I was expecting at least the same quality and stability, I've now had full fiber for a few weeks now and I can say its excellent, and all for £35

Absolutely no issues with Brillband at all. The whole experience of switching from Virgin to Brillband was seamless and the supplied Eero router worked straight out the box. Speeds are always very good to excellent. Recommended.

When I explained the position the box would need to be and the reason for it (building work), the external box was put exactly where I said it couldn't be placed. It means when work is due to get done I'll need to try and get the box moved Update: On the customer care side of things there is no faulting Brillband.... Received a call this morning addressing the issues with a plan to resolve them. Never had ANY company call me directly to fix an issue like that unless I had exhausted every avenue beforehand. Definitely on the ball.

Excellent customer service from the get go. It actually felt like I was talking to a person rather than someone who was reading from a script. My current broadband contract was due to be disconnected on the Friday previous to the suggested install date which wasn't ideal but the very helpful Murren went out of her way to ensure City Fibre came out on the day I was to be disconnected. Unfortunately when City Fibre arrived and installed the cabling etc there was a fault with the light going into the cabinet so my broadband could not be activated until that was fixed which meant another appointment and leaving me with no internet over the weekend. I contacted Murren via email to update her on the situation (note same person not another random worker so I didn't need to go over account details, background etc) and explained that I had a deadline for a project and I desperately needed internet access plus my son would have taken a fit had he not been able to play his games or use the internet. So I wasn't looking forward to telling him. lol. To cut a long story shortish, she spoke with her Manager Lyle who very kindly delivered a 5G router directly to my door! I was not expecting that and was so humbled by the care and customer service by Brillband and the team. Unbelievable. Over the next couple of days I was kept updated on the status of the fix and on the Tuesday I unexpectedly received a phone call from a City Fibre engineer to say that he could come round in the evening to fix the fault which he did and again I can't fault the service from City Fibre either. Very professional and he did a great job of making the cabling very neat. Although there was a delay in getting my broadband set up, the level of customer service from both City Fibre and Brillband was outstanding. Thank You!

Good price. Great speeds. Quick and simple installation. Only reason I drop a star is because of the eero 6 router that is supplied. Although you get 1 Gbps wired, the router only supports 500 Mbps wirelessly. Would be better served with an eero 6 pro or 6e router but it appears Brillband do not offer that option. And unfortunately you cannot directly plug in a different router directly to the fibre modem without the Brillband eero router being in the loop as per the terms and conditions of the contract. Overall great internet and service but limited by the Brillband hardware.

So glad I made the switch from virgin. Stable connection so far with no drops. Any slight issues I had there was a prompt response from one of the local team who were only too happy to help. Much prefer putting my money into a company offering local support rather than those offshoring much to the frustration of their customers.

Never had a ISP before where when you call their customer service you know you will have your situation resolved quickly and without being bounced to 20 departments. My fastest call time with Brillband from picking up the phone to having my question resolved has been under 5 minutes! I wouldn't even be through the automated questions with a big provider in that time. Especially liked the continuation of support, email support never felt like you had to explain the same problem over and over. Fast and reassuring

Lovely staff, onboarding was easy and install was simple. Amazon eero device is high quality and works well. Zero complaints and it's half the price of virgin for 3x the speed. No brainer.

I wasn't sure about going with brillband as they are a new company but the installation and the setup of the service was very easy. Murren in the support team was great to speak to and the engineer who installed the box and ran the cable into the house was very professional. I couldn't be happier just now.

I was looking for a new ISP as I was out of contract with Talk Talk and found their customer service rank and found Brillband after a search and from the moment I contacted them they have been brilliant, kept me up to date with my installation and the speeds I'm getting are just fantastic and another big big plus is its local customer service who are actually willing to help, keep it up and I'll never leave.

OK, this is installation day so my opinion may change (or might not!). I signed up for Brillband on a Saturday afternoon at about 4pm. CityFibre has destroyed the pavements round here over the last year and finally offered some providers. There were 4 on offer - Vodafone (I work in IT and particularly am dealing with VPN issues at the moment and almost all of the problem ones are Vodafone, so I wouldn't touch them), some other provider that I'd not heard of but had some awful reviews (ISPs don't generally get good reviews but these were bad), Giganet, which I'd heard of and Brillband which I knew nothing about. Virgin had also upped my 350Mb broadband, TV (which I don't care about) and phone (which I don't use) to £108/month. About 20 minutes later I got a call to arrange an installation date. Unfortunately that didn't happen and it's not really their fault. CityFibre found a fault and cancelled all installations but didn't tell the customers who were waiting a call and emailed Brillband and it wasn't noticed until late in the day. I called them and left a VM and was called back in 10 minutes. Was told that a new install date was provisionally 3rd March but they'd put a note on it to say to escalate if possible as I'd been let down. A couple of days later this got moved to 1st March then yesterday I got a message that it would be today, if that was OK. CityFibre turned up (actually it was Kelly Services on their behalf) at 8am. Did a pretty decent job of removing and replacing some monoblock paving. Done in about 2 hours. No mess inside or out and no sign, other than the new box on the wall, that they'd even been there. I assume I'm one of the first people in this area as they were visited by some senior bods in a Range Rover and some people from marketing who were taking photos. At one point there were 8 people in my driveway. :-) I cannot complain about the installation at all. They did an awesome job, although had I known they were taking pics I might've tidied up a little! I work from home, as does my wife, so I waited till lunchtime to switch over. I didn't use the supplied Eero 6 router at the time as I've already got Eero 5 Pro routers and swapping takes a while and we didn't have the time. As it's wifi 5 there wasn't a massive jump in download speed (near router was about 380Mbps vs 340Mpbs but upload speed jumped from 39Mbps to nearly 400Mbps. The gateway router itself was showing over 900Mbps up and down. I'm not naive enough to expect 900Mbps all the time, but it being symetrical is an unexpected bonus. Also, so far, latency seems a little lower than VM. The reason I'm saying 4 rather than 5 stars is not the network performance (although if it starts to suck I will drop the rating! :-) Both my wife and I (different companies) were immediately back on our VPNs), the installation (which was excellent), the customer service (which has been unusually good for an ISP so far) - it's entirely because of the supplied Eero 6 router. I suppose that's not Brillband's fault (Eero is Amazon) (btw how do you get the Eero app to show "Provided by Brillband" on the splash screen?) but, at least in my experience here the Eero 6 appears to have a worse chipset than the Eero 5 Pro. Eero 6 should have higher bandwidth with a compatible wifi adapter but when I replaced the gateway with the Eero 6 I was getting about 150Mbps but 380Mpbs on the Eero 5 Pro with both 802.11ac and 802.11ax adapters in the same room. This isn't a Brillband issue. Other ISPs seem to have the same complaints, such as TalkTalk who offer the same router. I'm a big fan of the Eero 5 Pro, but not of the basic Eero 6. I suppose I'm more disappointed in Amazon rather than Brillband. I'm not sure the Eero 6 even supports near gigbit speeds. TLDR: So far so good for the network connection and customer service but if you really need the faster speed then buy a better router. On a plus side if you buy a better router the config is minimal.

City Fibre Broadband and choosing a provider for a broadband deal. Wasn't sure if I wanted to leave BT. My BT contract was up and BT deals to be honest were miserable and expensive for what they could offer! After doing some research and checking out other reviews for the different providers and packages for City Fibre, I decided to go with Brillband! With good customer reviews, a straight forward package offering top speeds for one monthly price and the first 3 months internet for free! I thought why not, so i signed up! The engineers who installed the fibre and the initial set up were brilliant, Brillband let me know evry step of the way from arranging installation to making sure everything was all good. Brillbands customer service is also excellent! I would highly reccomend anyone to Brillband, very pleased with my Package from Brillband and the level of service! Many thanks Russell
