Brillband service was initially good. But now after a month the service quality has been dropping. The network speed has not been that great, slowness, frequent disconnection, and will have to rely on customer's mobile data. I would request Brillband to please address the network speed issues as early as possible.

Brill and is very affordable for the speeds offered and it is very reliable too. The customer service offered is second to none. However for the cheap price there are compromises, and in this case it's the use of cgnat. This means your public IP isn't exclusively yours and other people use it also. Some websites will think you're behind a VPN and block you, others will challenge you with 2FA requests or captcha challenges. It's not possible to get a static IP. If you know this ahead of time it's fine, but I suspect we'll be moving to a more expensive provider at the end of our minimum term.

Service reliable, but router is absolutely terrible - basic eero device. I can barely get WiFi outside the room the router’s in. Had to disconnect it, and use my previous Asus Mesh gear instead. Getting around 300Mbps from a 900Mbps contract, so not great. Tech support haven’t helped much, just blamed design of the building for blocking signal.

The speed used by particular devices such as laptops, phones, tv's, etc can be less than 900Mbps if your device is not able to process the full speed and can also be impacted by the building material surrounding the router, similar to how your mobile signal weakens in certain rooms. However, the router we provide is capable of more than our maximum speed and matches or is more powerful than the one used by all other major broadband providers in the UK.

Customer service = great, quick to respond & very helpful. Speed & reliability = superb, couldn't ask for faster speeds & both the service & eero6 router haven't let me down yet. Remote access = letdown, I have a nas drive that I can no longer connect to remotely as they cannot do port forwarding. I highly reccomend Brillband, so long as you don't need remote access to your drives, if that's a must have, you'll need to look elsewhere.

As an isp brillband have been top notch. Easy to get hold of, prompt attention from a friendly knowledgeable bunch. Now for the product. It’s one of the best in the business and all at a great price point. Highly recommended.

After living through disruption with road works for months, and erratic service from our previous broadband supplier, we signed up with CityFibre, to be emailed as soon as the new full fibre broadband became available at out postcode. As soon as we got the email, we had a look at the five different broadband providers, and decided to go with Brillband for a number of reasons : they are local, have had good reviews in the major Scottish newspapers, offer an innovative service without unnecessary add-ons like television and landline telephone, and are focussed on a single 900Mbps package at £35.00 a month. We are not interested in slower packages, so this is ideal. The CityFibre installation team came two weeks after we placed the order, and were very efficient, made no mess, and had us up and running running very quickly. We were impressed with the faster download speeds very quickly, and upload speeds have increased by a factor of ten. As can be expected, with wireless broadband there can be areas of the house far from the router where speeds get a bit slower. I contacted Brillband Support for advice about this as my study and desktop computer are in the only area of slower reception - though still faster than my previous broadband. They gave me good advice, so I bought an additional eero 6 from Amazon and installed this next to my computer, and have a direct ethernet connection between the two. It only needed plugging in and a simple setup using the eero app, and we are now getting a very fast speed everywhere. This is of course what the eero mesh system is designed to do. To sum up, everything is running well, we are getting much faster response from all our devices, and paying less every month, after our previous supplier raised their prices again. We are very pleased with the Brillband service, and have recommended them to family members, one of whom has already signed up.

Constantly had issues with my Sky broadband service dropping and constantly made excuses like building fabric etc. eventually made the switch to brillband fibre and it’s only been 2 months but the difference is remarkable. The eero app is extremely handy if anything addictive. Brillbands customer service is second to none, any issues has been resolved immediately without any infuriating call centres, pre-programmed voice message or jargon. I would 100% recommend.

I've been a customer for almost 3 months now and the service has been fantastic. Speeds are as stated and consistent. I've also had to contact customer support once and my experience was great, even though the fault was not theirs Brillband got in contact with Citifibre for me and had everything sorted within 24 hours.

I 100% drive for excellent customer service I am passionate about getting the best for what I pay for, if a company sells me something I expect delivery not just on product but service delivery is as if not more important. I was let down through no fault of my own by my previous broadband provider their customer service was not only appauling but was effecting my mental well-being trying to resolve an issue that they created. Being a home worker I rely on good reliable internet access, that in itself is not the be all and end all of what I require, good honest access to customer service is also a priority. Brillband from day one delivered on every aspect of my expectations. 100% delivered on cost, installation, promise and reassurance and they have never ever let me down. I cannot recommend Brillband enough and I do if people ignore my recommendation because ‘never heard of them’ believe me neither had I but I was desperate to go live again and they delivered and continue to deliver. This is an honest review and the content of the review is of my own opinion based on experience and of a satisfied customer.

Good installation team. 840Mbs down and 940Mbs upload on wired PC. Think supplied erro 6 router can manage 500Mbs on wifi. If you use 2.4G smart devices plugs, lights etc, remember to temporarily disable 5G on erro before trying to set devices up as erro will default to 5G and smart device apps will fail. Erro uses same SSID for 2.4 and 5G wifi. I was with Virginmedia/ntlword for over 20 years before Brillband. 3 x the speed at just over half the price compared to Virginmedia.

I signed up online to brillband and within half an hour they phoned and set up the installation date that suited me once the installation was complete they contacted me again to make sure everything was working as it should be great service from a great company.
