I bought a set of Genisis 500w studio lights from you, first of all when I purchased these I didn't realise they were not a kit but built up of bits and pieces chucked together. The other day I looked up your website for spares for these and you don't show anything online for them e,g, a spare 500w flash tube. Yes you have 300/400 w tubes but no 500w ones. What's the point of me buying something like this from you and cannot get spare parts ? I have found this problem a few times regarding your website when looking for "accessories" either nothing appears or some obscure item seems to be attached e,g looking at a camera Olmpus Pen 5 and the accessories include a Bellingham bag !!! I thought Culumet is "Where the professionals go" Surely a "professional" knows what they are talking about and doesn't want a camera bag that has just been chucked on to the website to encourage some poor person to buy it who doesn't really know what they are talking about, surely it would be better if a lens or filter etc showed up in the accessories instead of things that don't really suit ! Only one person at this company seems to have any knowledge of Canon Printers. Yes they delivered promptly but at branch level were unable to supply the expected level of sales information. The Canon Pro 10 can print CD's but the software to do this didn't load on install. Apparently it can be downloaded from the Canon website but only if you know where to look. I had to find a older copy from a previous Pixma model. Pity, an excellent product aimed at professionals but without the basic software package you would expect nor adequate professional support.

i had to constantly chase the status of my order when i purchased, i was given no indication of the very long time it would take to receive my items, and in the case of the camera and lens i'd bought, i have to prompt them to be sent in the first place very sluggish process but the phone team i spoke to were always very helpful and efficient

I bought a studio flash and its remote control, think its very poor to send the remote control unit, and I have to wait until the end of july for the flash, the unit cannot be checked as it only fires these flash heads, so by the time the light may arrive 2 months warrenty have gone for a start Bit of a joke that the AS250 head is now not showing in the website listing and the 500 head is still showing as awaiting stock why not just delete the whole product range as you have not filled the orders placed in may !

Went for sensor cleaning. Going to have to take the camera back a second time as the sports are still there - they've just moved.

After hearing about the Calumet reputation and being recommended by a friend to bring my camera for repair I was hopeful and excited about receiving a great service. Unfortunately I was utterly disappointed and deflated when it took over a month just to get a quote back on my repairs and even longer to have the actual repair finished. I would expect that Calumet should understand the importance of having a camera available at all times, but instead I was forced to pay a fortune in hire fees because of how slow the service was. I never thought I would wind up feeling like I should have gone elsewhere to have my camera repaired. The in-store staff were great and really helpful. It's just highly unfortunate (and unacceptable) that I had to make constant phone calls to check the progress of my quote, let alone getting the actual repair done!

On my visits to the branch, I have often found the staff aloof and not particularly friendly - a customer service programme for staff might help. Although a second hand purchase, the camera was not boxed and was handed over initially in a plastic bag until I asked for some packaging ! There were also a few missing accessories from the original camera set. I was told they were 'extra's but later found out from the online manual they were part of original camera set. It seems reasonable that what was part of the original camera set should have been known by the salesperson.

after 2 phone calls to see when my order would be delivered I received this after 2 weeks with the wrong order I had to use these due to the delay and compromise with the photos.

The lighting boom I purchased was not as described in your information. There was no angle indicator as per the description.

After buying some products from the store I found that the web price was cheaper. Not happy.

Unfortunately there was long waits when I went to the Drummond street store. I ordered my product on the phone on a Saturday and was told I could collect in store on the Monday. I phoned on the Monday to check it had arrived and was told it was never ordered. Very disappointing.

Good postal service ordering online, but a disappointing experience in store. After driving all the way across town to buy some radio triggers to use with my speedlights I went with the PW plus 3 units. They might have thought to mention that I'd been a hot shoe adaptor, but no... And then after calling to ask if they sold a hot shoe adaptor I drove all the way back out there again (an hour round trip) only to be sold something incompatible. Never did bother taking it back, just bought something (from another business) online.

Not impressed with the delivery service. I placed this, my first order with Calumet, on Friday 4th April. According to the website it was a 2 day delivery service, however the order wasn't picked until the 9th and I received it late on the 10th. I should have received this order by Tuesday 8th at the latest, compared to most of the suppliers that I use this was poor.

I was confused as to how or who to ask for assistance when I entered. I wasn't certain where the till was and where the person helping me wanted me to go to so that I could pay for goods. It felt like I had to nudge someone to move forward with my experience instead of feeling like someone was interested in helping me. That said, all staff were helpful and professional.

Two items I asked to view were not available in store. A Canon 18/135mm lens and a Giotto 3 way head. I am sure your website showed both were in stock. I travelled to your Birmingham store only to find they were not available. Very frustrating. Ed Lynch

I bought something marked as "awaiting stock, accepting orders". I was given no indication of delivery schedule, and my attempt to contact Calumet to ask about it after a week of hearing nothing was ignored. In the end it took over two weeks to turn up.

We were promised stock of some bowens lights within a few days. We have been waiting for 2 weeks now despite having paid full balance up front.
