if there is a problem, like i receive a copy of the invoice ... but i cannot read it there seems to be a problem getting a response i have tried on two occasions, with more than a year separating them, to get my online account to be the same as my regular account .. something that seems beyond the ability of calumet ... which is quite frankly shocking in what it reveals about the company

Returned a camera, and refund processing very slow. (Also, despite cancelling the order, the second part of it was sent anyway.) Helpful when I spoke to them - and speedy delivery - but am still waiting for the refund, so I have to judge its efficiency as being variable...

I went to the store last week to collect my order. Unfortunately, only the tripod arrived without the head I ordered with it. I thought the member of staff who called me had checked before if my order arrived completely in store or only partly. It would have saved me some time traveling there and back, which I will need to do again to pick up the second part.

Paid £18 to have the item delivered for a job the following day. Item arrived on time but was faulty which resulted in 30 mile round trip to try replace or repair at Manchester store but this could not be arranges or for reasons Im still not sure about, a refund given. Waste of postage, half a days drive and still no item. As a long term returning customer, some customer service would have been nice.

When ordering this item I checked the delivery dates which specified that delivery would be within 48 hours. I was not notified at any point that the item was not in stock. The delivery was late, despite the order being placed on 11 Nov the item was not dispatched until 26 Nov and I had to source an alternative supplier to get the item in time for an event.

Ordered two items - neither high value yet only method of delivery available unnecessarily required a signature. Hugely inconvenient. Only one item delivered on time - other item delayed and when chased found it had incorrectly and unnecessarily been put on back order even though it was in stock.

Product was great but ordered on Wednesday evening and paid for next day delivery before 12 expecting this to arrive on Friday. At 1pm with no delivery I called customer services to be told it had been put on back order without me being notified.

I ordered an octobox from your branch in Glasgow via your Manchester branch and nobody rang me to inform me it had arrived. I went elsewhere.

Confused starting times. No response from Calumet when emailed to confirm times. Had to visit Edinburgh office to confirm. Some people arrived an hour early and had, therefore to leave an hour earlier. Poor lighting. Had to ask to have the room lights put on [consensus of the course attendees] as couldn't see my camera to make adjustments as requested by course tutor. Requested a hand out or copy of presentation as aid memoir. Not received as yet. At least those attendees who had memory sticks got the hand out. I did not pay for this course as it was a gift. I therefore don't know the cost to my benefactor. However, had I paid I would not be happy. I found the delivery disjointed, and because of the lighting issues I couldn't always take advantage of the presented information. I came away getting the impression this was an opportunity to flog Calumet products with a " % off for today only" promotion. Based on my experience I shall not be recommending your products to others. Lost opportunity Calumet!

I went to the open day at calumet and was rather looking forward to it. Bought some stuff and pre ordered a lens. They havent pre ordered me the lens it seems and the stuff i was sold i think was more of a pressure purchase on the day. The stuff i purchased wasnt Calumets issue though it was more the other salesmen there. Would still have liked to get the lens though.

I waited at least 15 minutes before anyone offered to help me. Service was very slow behind the counter. It took a further 10 minutes for the sales agent to find the product I was looking for back in the stock room. Once the product was in hand the agent was very helpful and polite. I just would have appreciated more proactive and faster customer service initially (i.e., serve the person in the shop not the one on the phone while there is a long queue) and perhaps have more people on hand in general. I will probably not shop here again unless another store does not have what I am looking for. Sorry.

Extraordinary length of time from ordering to product deliver. I had to chase the suppliers myself. I even ordered the same product direct from supplier which arrived the next day. Calumet took over 3 weeks!

Sad to say I didn't have the best experience with my last purchase which was a Calumet Standard Boom with Cine Stand. The boom wasn't as advertised with the 'angle indicator' not on it as per the description. I informed Calumet when I bought in early June and I was told it doesn't have one and won't have one any more. It is now November and the item description has not changed. The overall quality of the item wasn't brilliant either and one of the shot bag counter weights fell apart before even being used. Customers serices did sort it out eventually but not in the easiest and quickest way possible way as you would expect. You need to up your game Calumet.

I was advised that my delivery of a new media card would be by post but it was sent by courier at extra cost and inconvenience.

My order was processed successfully, but communication was poor. - no indication of whether item was in stock - no notification of delays to supply - no notification of delivery (several weeks later). I had to find out from Parcelforce who the mystery parcel was from that I'd missed.

On the fair part, most staff never seem happy in calumet, with the exception of one person I can think of. Some times I can find phone operaters very rude, the staff behind the desk not very informative or willing to help, I do not like going into calumet.

I ordered a camera case at the photographic show in March 2014 I was told I would have the item within a month as it was out of stock at the show. 6 months I was still waiting for the item so had a refund.
