“Service usually depends on who you deal with. My preference is to deal with John Willis who identifies what I want, provides sound, reliable and professional help and advice and does not try to sell things to that I do not need or want.”

“hi your front counter staff at the Milton Keynes head office (carol) is an absolute credit to you. I knew her from snappy snaps when I worked at the Milton Keynes citizen and we used to drop off our films for devving. (till we got our own darkroom) any how that aside your website is absolutely atrocious its missing images its not even in any type of logical order. ive given up ordering from your website and gone elsewhere. I came in personally to purchase some ilford ID11 in 1ltr powder form and was told not in stock on 4 separate occasions so I succumbed to ordering some there and then, its been 2 weeks now and it still hasn't arrived. I gave up and went elsewhere and it was delivered next day for £1.90 (2 litres of perceptol and 500mls of tmax Kodak pro). learn form this. why on earth don't you open up a shop in Milton Keynes some place, you would be the only bona fide photographic shop in the area. you would sew up all the trade. “I have always been impressed by the product knowledge of branch staff. In my recent customer experience I found that no attempt was made to sell me more than I needed. I would also like to see the Glasgow branch transfer to larger premises so that product lines had more floor space. A wish for the future is that major camera manufacturers demonstate more of their products and hold workshops in store.”

“Calumet as a supplier for walk in or hire are a good company and competetive with prices its only a pity that the same can not be said of the analogue colour paper supplies. They advertise a price then change after the item is paid for and if the price for teh order is lower than the highest charged, it seems strange that the supply suddenly is no longer available unless one purchases at the higher cost. Very dissapointed and now obtained an alternate analogue paper supplier at a fraction of the calumet price”

“I purchased a beauty dish along with a grid, back in March 2013 at Belfast stores open day. I did not receive the dish until Mid December 2013, some 10 months later. There was no knowledge or communication with me as a customer as to when the Grid would arrive. It was me on every occasion who initiated the contact to see where things where at. It would appear that although these dishes and grids where for sale on offer for the open day, it became quite obvious that they were never in stock in the first instance. On this occasion i am very disappointed with the service and lack of communication. I should have cancelled the order and bought a bowens grid/dish in its place.”

“I can't fault the company and the people who work for it. They are very friendly, knowledgable but also take an interest in the customer infront of them not just from the purchasing side of things. A genuine interest in photography videography and all the variations between. A company to go back to over and over again for advice and purchases.”

“Very experienced and helpful staff , the only problem I had was the camera I wanted was in the soho branch and I was in the Euston branch , I asked if the camera could be couriered over but they said this was not possible as the mark up was too low despite the fact that I was spending £2600 , but the Euston branch still wanted me to make payment there and find my own way to the soho branch , thought it was a bit unfair .”
