“Was considering buying a car that looked ok on the surface. Seller did not mention any major problems with the car that 'he knew about' and was reluctant to give the license plate or VIN. When saw the car I noticed the lic plate and decided to check the carfax. The report showed me that it was flood damaged. Saved me a lot of time and effort.”

“I was faced May 2014 with a write-off for my Volvo S80 4 door sedan because a young lady drove into my trunk at 55 mph on the Trans Canada Hwy.. I know very little about cars, except keeping them maintained. I do not like spending money and a car to me is a huge waste of money, but a necessity! I like a luxury car: leather upholstery, power door locks, air conditioning, good stereo, sound system, good handling, safety, enough power to pass in traffic, etc. My time is valuable and I dreaded looking for a new car to replace my Volvo. Anyway a neighbour told me about a older Mercedes I should look at and the first thought after seeing the car was go online with car fax to check it had no accidents. Carfax even supplied me past service history over 12 years ago for the car, which helped me make a decision to buy. I was impressed with Car fax data. I will use Car fax again says Robert Jennings, West Vancouver, June 16, 2014. This is not a paid advertisement.”

“If i had not used carfax i would have purchased a car with previous accidents. Fortunately i purchased a carfax bundle reviewed accident history, actual miles on the car, maintenance and repairs over the vehicle. However, though the buldle is useful i felt it is pretty expensive”

“car fax is the best thing ever happened in car industry! but there is always a way to cheat a customer! i fined out that 2-3 years old cars after lease have odometor roll back! i m a pro about cars and can tell this problem with 98% accuracy. car fax, what can you do about it?”

“It helped me sell my car with confidence to tell potential buyers over the phone that I had the carfax and there were no accidents,etc. There were a few who asked and I could show them the carfax report. It's a good tool for sellers and buyers. Thankyou”

“I recently purchased a 2010 Subaru Forester from a GM dealership. Not being a Subaru dealership, I was leery about how much they knew about Subarus. I knew I wouldn't be getting a certified preowned car because the Subaru wasn't a vehicle they sell, so I needed to be sure that I was getting a vehicle that had a clean history. There was no place to turn but Carfax. The dealership offered a carfax report free and that report made the difference between me buying the car and not buying it. Thanks Carfax.”

“I purchased a vehicle out of state and the Car Fox report helped me make a good decision. At first I did not know if I wanted to pay for something that I could not see or touch but with the report I could see that there were no hidden damages like salvage title or accidents.”
