“After believing I had a good deal, I was made to pay double again on collecting the car as they would not accept my debit card. Also the location was incorrect and misleading on the advert so I had to get a taxi across london.”
“I booked a vehicle (international) using carjet, the vendor 724Rent in Turkey took a deposit of 1000 euros, and didn't return it back even vehicle was returned on time , no accident and was accepted by their staff.
I've reached to both carjet and 724Rent , both have not replied and disappointed me. Please avoid these shady businesses.”

“I paid for the car in advance CarJet 214 euro with insurance. Vaucher CJT-134020142. I had to pick up tehe car at Bergamo airport 7.07.24 . But my flight was delayed wich I informed in advance. I had to take anther car from the Surprise company and pay again 158 euros. There they took a deposit 900 tacteuros from me. I terurned the car on 16.07.24. I still haven't gotten my deposit back. This is scam and I will contact Lawyes.”
“If I could give Car Jet no starts, I would. They are thieves, and the service is designed to defraud consumers. I had the misfortune to lose my physical license right before a booking was to take place. I waited onsite at the car rental location for more than 2 hours only to be told that the rental company could do nothing about it and to call car jet. Carjet told me that because the moment of the booking had past (when I was still in line at the rental agency) they would not cancel the reservation and they would not return my money. I was not allowed to appeal this because there is no number, emailor method to do so. When you write an email you get a "no reply" address back. So, if you ever rent a car with CarJet and your flight is cancelled, they will steal your money rather than refund it. More than 400 Euros gone for no car and a ton of headaches trying to appeal to a human. Terrible company. Terrible business practices. Predatory.”

“Went to collect my hire car on Sunday 4th August 2024 at Edinburgh Waverley branch and it wasn't ready. Pricing and terms then changed dramatically to the extent that it was pure daylight robbery and the man serving us was just so rude. I stood up to this scam but the customer advisor in front of my wife and 3yr old told me to go away and find somewhere else as he had no intention of giving me a car even though I'd already paid in advance for the hire booking. The customer telephone line takes you to Spain and 4 days later I've still received no communication from them via email. Horrific, rude and should be prosecuted for fraud. I will now report them via my bank and get my money back that way! How comes this company can still operate? The authorities need to shut them down NOW! :(”
“I experienced extremely poor customer service from Carjet. The rental car company in Germany whose vehicle I had rented through Carjet refused to honor the reservation as they did not accept my non-European drivers licence. The need for this had not been clearly indicated during the booking process on the Carjet website.
I tried to call Carjet several times - the first two times I was waiting for more than 20min in the queue and eventually gave up. The 3rd time I waited in the queue for 15min until I finally reached someone. The agent was not helpful at all and the follow-up email interaction was equally frustrating. All Carjet emails were written in Spanish and denied any refund or even credit, claiming that they had communicated the need for an international drivers licence prior to booking on their website (this is correct, but the information was hidden in the small print of multiple pages of T&C). I ended up having to rent another rental car and essentially pay twice.
I have never experienced such difficulty in reaching a car rental company and such inflexibility and poor customer service.”
“They are only good to take your money. Absolutely no contact possible for issues. My flight was delayed but there was no way i could contact them to modify my booking. By phone nobody answers. The only way they offer to modify the booking was to cancel it and book another car, more expensive and for the next day only. Why would they help? They have had their commision already from me. They are renting to us cars from companies that can't help themselves to rent anymore because of the bad reviews. Avoid with all costs!”
“Paid My money turned uo at rental village couldn't take car as I didn't have credit card I offered a 1500 pound deposit 1300 pounds above the one required but was not able to take car. “The information provided regarding the rental was notably unclear, and interactions with the staff at Record Rent a Car were less than satisfactory, despite the communication occurring in my native language.
I was considerable frustrated with the entire process. The insurance costs asked were exorbitantly high, unlike anything I’ve encountered in my extensive travels across Europe. This left me without a vehicle, significantly disrupting my plans. Moreover, my attempts to communicate with Carjet were met with considerable difficulty, and the lack of a substantive response from their end did nothing to alleviate the situation.”
