“Could not collect the car I hired as the hire company only accepted a credit card in the drivers name to pay the deposit, they would not allow me to use another credit card or my debit card and refused to release the car as a result. I called CarJet to request a refund and they refused as they said I did not cancel the booking before the pick up time and because I did not comply with the hire companies requirements. Avoid using CarJet!”
“To be honest if I could give minus stars I would, absolutely shocking company to deal with. I’m still fighting for money back from when I was on holiday a few weeks ago. Got to Poland, Warsaw Chopin airport and they couldn’t provide my baby with a car seat capable for even a doll it was that shocking I wouldn’t even go the toilet in it. When asking for refund I was told give me 30mins they will go out and buy 1, this was not the case me and my family where left in the airport for 7hours with a small baby knowing we had a 4 hour drive to our destination. It’s not been a couple of weeks since I’ve been home and still no money back from either side. I strongly advise NO ONE uses this company.

“This experience has proven once more why it is vital to check reviews beforehand. The car rental in Athens is a desk from Europcar and horrible service. The credit card was not in the name of the main driver (which has NEVER been an issue at multiple rentals in the past) and therefore the entire booking was refused with no refund. Europcar has no access to the system to change ANYTHING and the call center has no access to the system either. Who cares which credit card is left for the deposit the fact is that there is one. Customer service so unfriendly and I would in no way recommend this car rental.”

They charge to much for insurrance.
They also have no car, and do it by other companys.
When you want to cancel the insurrance they do not answer their email.
Better do insurrance at the company you get your car.”

“I was using Carjet.com in Iceland. Booked a car and payed insurance in advance 53€...by the contract I would have payed an other 188€ at arrival in Reykjavik. It's already a pretty expensive rent for 4days, but I choose it because I don't have a credit card...so it's my bad. But! Than at arrival they made pay 350€ instead of 188€. Of course it was after midnight when I arrived and it was not possible to call anyone from Carjet, but as it appears later it's pretty difficult to call them during the day as well and it's not the biggest problem. The company organised the rent in Iceland has nothing to do with Carjet, they have there own prices what they count with obviously and there is no connection between the company's. So after more than a month noone cares my complain. Every time I can reach Carjet after waiting on the line for 20-40mins, they just say they sorry and that the other company doesn't answer. Thanks Carjet for nothing! 404€, 4days, Toyota Yaris 👎”

Paid 380€ plus insurance for two weeks car rent in Madeira. Because of storm we couldn’t land in Madeira airport and stayed for the night in Las Palmas. I emailed Carjet immediately and told them about our situation. When we flew back to Madeira day after nobody was waiting for us from the company. I tried to call their support many times with no answer, they don’t answer to emails either, So we paid 380€ for two weeks car rent with no car. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!must be a way to stop this fraudsters with so many bad reviews, if anybody knows how to start a legal action against Carjet please advise to avoid more people suffer”

“I'll never use this site again (carjet.com) and wouldn't recommend anyone to. I thought i'd managed to get myself a bargain until i got to pick the car from the actual car hiring company.
On the website i'd found a deal for about £120, then with added "insurance" it came to about £150.
I received an email from Carjet, and at the end of the email it mentioned leaving a £1500 deposit to the car hire company (which was to be refunded). I thought it was some mistake, but when i picked the car, lo and behold. The only other option was to pay £30 a day insurance, so my bill ended up being £300 to hire a car for 5 days. On the website it never mentioned anything like that.”
