Did not get a car. Bought insurance but actual rental company did not honor it and said that have to buy their insuranse. Car type that I booked was not there, alternative 3 times more expensive. Did not get a refund. Its a scam not a business.

If there would have been an option to leave -5 stars, I would. They revert me to SMART cars rent, do not use that one as well by the way. They freeze my credit card £1680 amount, can you imagine. They gave me old damaged car and charged as they were looking for the scratches with the magnifying glass. Charged admin fee of £100 despite it should have been £75, I am claiming from my Insurance and blocked my credit card. One word SCAMERS!!!!!!

Had a terrible experience with carjet at Edinburgh Airport 5th February 2023, would not let us modify our booking, we missed the booking time due to a delay in flight, rang them a couple of times were of no assistance. Have sent a number of emails and have received no reply. Never used this company before, sorry I did now and will certainly never use them again.

I'd give a No Star Rating for Carjet if I was allowed to do so... On the surface, this company offers cheap car hire... which is great. However, beware of the hidden terms, concealed deposits and poor customer service. I have used them twice and they have caused me problems on both of these bookings. The first time was a genuine system error, which was forgivable because I received a full refund. The second booking was a fiasco - I got what I considered to be a great deal, £141 for 8 days car hire - plus an extra £63 for Excess Insurance - however, when I arrived to collect the car at the allotted time, I was kept waiting for over 50 minutes, and then advised that I had to pay a £1,250 credit card deposit. If I had known about the deposit at the time of booking, I would have cancelled it. However, Carjet in their infinite wisdom... choose not to disclose the deposit in clear view when you make a booking. (Probably because their booking cancellations would go through the roof!) You have to search through the hidden T&C's before you find any reference of a deposit. This caused me significant problems on the day and I ended up having to pay the car hire company at the full day rate just to secure the vehicle for an important meeting that I needed to attend. My advice to any potential customer would be to avoid this company at all costs... because they have refused to refund any money or offer a fair compromise, then hid behind their dodgy Terms & Conditions as a pathetic excuse. Do your self a big favour, book direct with the hire companies, you may have to pay more, but you will get peace of mind and be treated fairly...

Poor customer service. Charged deposit and did not even get the car as the destination had icy road conditions. Asked for refund and they no you can't. So they would rather you have an accident and personal injury and insist you take the rental car. Stay way from them.

Scam. They take your money but you will have to walk because there will be issues with your debit card or something else. You want a refund? Not in this life. Be aware of using them for car rentals. Never ever ever use this company services. That is a rip off.

I used carjet 5 times over several years. I always used debit card. then last saturday morning at the counter europcar sent me away, telling that they do not do carjet bookings with debit card, only credit card. Luckily lost 17 eur and not 170 eur. Customer support said "it is clearly stipulated you need credit not debit card". I had the habit over several years using debit card... Also - beware flexible fuel policy, it simply means a 20 eur extra charge, even when you take back full tank. Never again. Also - europcar does their own bookings with debit card, they for some reason feel the need to mess up carjets customers day.

I paid for the full insurance cover but the car rental co. didn't recognise it and wanted me to pay for their cover. A complete rip off , No refund. Don't go near them.

On a recent leisure trip to Varna, Bulgaria we rented a car from www.carjet.com for 4 days. On delivery we were asked to pledge the sum of 300€ for any damage to the vehicle and we agreed. After we delivered the car in the right condition, we received it and with a full tank of fuel, the company delivered the car without any complaint and with the promise to refund our money in 1 to 2 weeks afterwards. With the passage of 2 weeks we called the company again and they said that by next Monday the money would be returned to us. And while we did not receive the money, we began to suspect fraud and started searching for the company in question. We found out that this tactic has been used by too many people and has a very bad reputation. Unfortunately, we were one more of their victims!

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! If I could give -1 I would. I rented a car from carjet and filled in all the details. It says Bristol airport but it not on the airport car rental area. You must walk for around 10min to get there which you might think it not a lot but with heavy bags it’s a dreadful walk. If the service was good this wouldn’t be such a problem. I arrived to pick up the car and they wouldn’t let me because I was 22. And minimum age is 23. This information was not displayed before renting the vehicle. I called multiple times and they only picked up after 1h after rental. Every time I spoke to them they were speaking in a very arrogant manner. First time I spoke with them they said they were having system problems and couldn’t give me the car yet and I had to wait for no determined time. Second time I called, and after arrival to the rental building, they said they would not give me a refund because it was in very small letters in the terms of conditions and I should have read them. Clearly there is a problem with the sites company. In every other company when you put your date of birth it gives you the options you have or if it’s even possible to rent a car. Sounds like a scam to get money from clients. Never again renting here!

DO NOT USE TIS COMPANY THEY ATE CROOKED If I could give them negative 500 stars I would ! We got to the airport an hour and a half late due to our plane delayed and found our via text our car was cancelled. I called immediately it took over an hour to get ahold of someone who did not speak English to inform us that our car was no longer available but we could have a smaller car for the same price. We booked a 7 passenger suv and we had 6 people including a car seat and bags also he was going to give us a 4 seat car this company is a complete scam they will not return my money I have been emailing them for 2 weeks now and now they are not responding. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Gearriveerd op Antalya Luchthaven en we werden geconfronteerd dat er geen auto gereserveerd stond op onze naam. Terwijl we bevestigingen hebben en ook deels de betaling hebben gedaan. We hebben een taxi moeten nemen naar onze verblijf en morgen op zoek naar een huurauto bij een andere auto rent car. Door CarJet helaas een slechte start van onze vakantie van maar 1 week.

DO NOT HIRE a CAR via THEM!! I hired a car from Carjet and got the confirmation. When I arrived to the pick up point their local partner wants to get 1.200 eur deposit via my credit card (that is OK part of the contract) They tried via their POS machine but they couldn't get the provision and started blaming my credit card by saying that it is not activated on mail order. I called my bank in front of them and talked through speaker, the bank confirmed that the card is active and can be used for mail order. They tried couple of more times but no succeed! They cancelled my reservation and told me that I will be reimbursed by Carjet. Last week I contacted them and asked when I will be reimbursed. They said that my card was not working therefor I won't be reimbursed, which is not correct!!! My card is working everywhere all over the world except on their POS. Something is wrong here but not my card or account for sure!

These people are scammers. Do not use. Charged late fees despite not sharing any terms and conditions. I showed evidence of not having received the voucher or any terms, and the customer support hung up and refused to raise to a manager.

Rented from carjet last week. They just didnt turn up to meet us when and where we agreed and left us in the airport unable to be contacted. Information desk at the airport had no idea how to reach them or who they really were. Ended up having to rent from Hertz. They are now refusing to refund the money saying we never called, despite sending them screenshots of the multiple calls wigh exact timings. Completely ignoring the fact they didn't come in the first place. Highly advise you rent with a legitimate company, this seems like a scam.

An total scam!!! Avoid at all cost! An total scam!!! I made a booking 4 days before my trip on a deal offered just to receive a mail the next day to say: Unfortunately we haven’t been able to confirm your booking this time. So had to do another booking and my biggest mistake was to do it through them. When I arrived at Malta airport to pick the car, we were not able to pick the car up and the Hertz employee was an absolute gem trying to help us as much as he could. He let us use the office phone to call the customer service number in Spain. Customer service is absolutely useless and rude. They basically robbed us of the cost of rental + a full insurance they did not even accept to cancel as we were not going to use it. all she kept on telling us was: send an email. We had to do a whole new booking with Hertz onsite. Advise: When booking a car, book through a reputable company even though the prices might seem a bit higher...Carjet has a lot of hidden costs and they are an absolute scam!!! Cherry on top of the cake is the signature at the bottom of the confirmation email received: Claire Davis Head of Customer Happiness...... In that case Dear Claire, contact me regarding my booking: PRE-52989730 as I definitely am less than happy and impressed with your services!
