I only wish for this company to go bankrupt! What happened was that I booked a rental car through the CarJet portal and my payment was accepted. However, when I arrived in Crete, my card was not accepted despite the payment having been made. I lost my money, could not rent a car, and all of this happened during the high season in the evening at the airport. I strongly advise against using CarJet.com and the rental car company AbbyCar - both are an absolute disaster!”
“Paid for my son to pick up a car at Birmingham airport. Sent him my confirmation when he received it was informed that my payment was not accepted. So he paid again only to find out when he got to the rental company there were x 2 bookings As it was 30 minutes BEFORE the time of each contract start time we were told that that the issue was with Carjet not the rental company Green Motion and they were not responsible. Tried calling Carjet in Spain and no answer. I have registered a case with Carjet and NO help.I now intend to take it further I have Amex working on it for me and also checking with other legal options.”
“This the most horrid experience ever. I made a reservation with sketchy website. Paid 60 USD dollars not knowing this website was from another country and live in the USA. Made the reservation guess what my confirmation email never arrived. I email them and late response no help at all. I asked for a refund ignored. I want to cancel my reservation. “Total mess!!!! I would never recommend this company. They are not organised. They cancelled 2 cars before i even got a car. When i went to pick up car, it was cancelled. They are refusing to give a refund. And we ended up getting a car for 230 euro above the original price. A week later, and no sign of a refund. They are a joke. I would recommend any other company than carjet!!!! BOOK DIRECTLY WITH SIXT !!”
“Arrived in Geneva and ran to the office to collect hire car at 9pm to find the office closed and unmanned. The office is scheduled to be open until 10.30pm. I was forced to hire another car from the Avis desk which was still open. I phoned up the carjet number and tole the customer care person what had happened. she said she would look into it. There were many people left in the same situation that night, left with no car and no accomodation booked in Geneva. I have now has an email from Carjet that told me that the office was open until 10.30pm- IT WAS NOT. and that I was not entitled to any refund. I have since tried to phone Carjet and my number has been barred by them. I have no, no way to resolve this.They have taken my money and not provided a service.”
“All they care about is money, I booked a car through this website after I landed I went to the car rental office and It was a small company , they only accepted credit card but they did not have the machine so I use my credit cards! they were only able to do online payment through their computer, and since the company was too small my credit card company did not recognize them and was not going through, so I could not pick up the car and the car rental office told me you can cancel it now and ask for refund from carjet, i did cancel then I emailed carjet 3 times , they said no refund because it is too late! at least they could have refunded a portion of the money because it was not my fault that I was not able to pick up the car. I wish i could gve them zero”
“We rented and prepaid for a car through CarJet to pick up in Dublin. Our flight was delayed and when we arrived we were informed that the car booking was cancelled because we hadn't informed them of the delay and they could keep our money. There was no answer at their customer service number that evening and when ringing them on Monday they refused to refund our money.
DO NOT USE CARJET!!!!!”

“So I booked a car the CarJet at the best price £184 for 12 days. However, when I arrived at the car rental shop it cost me another £540 because they needed a credit card and also for insurance reasons. I didn’t have a credit card with me so had to pay in my debit card. I asked if I would have paid the insurance through carjet for an extra £30 would I not need to pay the extra £540. The car rental company said no! As carjet is separate.
This company is advertising falsely and it’s a disgrace!!”
“I would never recommend this company to anyone. I spent £540 on a car rental and the company wouldn’t let me collect it due to not owning a credit card.
Nowhere on the T&Cs does it say this, only on the booking confirmation. As soon as I received the booking confirmation I read this, and called the leasing company they cancelled the booking and advised I couldn’t get a refund as it was car jet that would issue this. There’s no phone number for them on their website and are a Spanish based company with no office in the UK. They said the cancellation was outside their refund period but I made the booking 3 hours before pick up. They advised I should have read the t&cs but they make no reference to this! They only made reference to this on the booking confirmation and at that point it was outside of refund window.
I’ll never use this company again.”
“Booking a car with CarJet cost me over 300 euros more than indicated because there was misleading information about paying by debit card. I booked the premium insurance with CarJet as described in order to be able to pay by debit card. However, when I picked up the car in Frankfurt/airport, I was told that I had to take out their premium insurance, not CarJet's, as they only act as intermediaries. So I paid for one insurance for free, and the other one cost me double the rental car price. A scam of the lowest category. Definitely keep your hands off Carjet.”

Help desk is full of not competent staff. Help desk is not looking for a solution, they just will send you e-mail how sorry are they but no solution or real help.
I strongly recommend not use this portal, their cancellation policy is totally out of this world and if you create order and immediately you cancel it, Carjet will get all your money.
Please, look for another car rental portals, I am sure that you will save your money.”
