Overall, the level of customer service (Tony and Emma) was very good. This is the first time we have used a "car superstore"; c.f. a "normal" car dealership. Comments: 1. No doubt an industry-wide practice, but running press and on-line adverts which are "out of date" due to "manufacturer special offers" being "sold out" is at best irritating and at worst misleading. In the end (2 hours) we got a car that we wanted at a good price but process could have been simpler? Dealers and manufacturers need to co-ordinate a bit better? 2. Too much time spent on discussing finance deals & (unwanted) financial products; not enough time on the car, how the "gizmos" work, the warranty and first year recovery cover (which would have saved us on insurance); ditto at handover which felt a bit rushed. We spent an afternoon at home studying the 200 page plus handbook to work out how the radio works etc! 3. Don't like doing business in noisy environments; the music was turned down at our request but subsequently turned up again. 4. The "car superstore" experience is probably more for the younger purchaser; older folks may prefer a more traditional approach? However in terms of car value, no doubt that we got a better deal than we would have got at a traditional dealer. In summary, the level of customer services from the staff (Tony and Emma) we met was very good and the overall financial deal met our objectives. We will probably use PV again and recommend others to do so, subject to the points above.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish! A very family orientated environment at the car store aswell. We were very impressed as was our 4yr old son......He loved it! Special thanks to Alan McMillan, he was superb & an asset to the Peter Vardy family! If we could rate him & Peter Vardy as a whole, we would give 20 out of 10!! Thankyou all so much, we love our new car & will definitely buy again from Peter Vardy, Hillington in the future! Would highly recommend.

Customer experience plummeted after finalising the deal with the sale advisor. Salesman was faultless then on collection the experience wasn't great at all. Handover wasn't great at compared to other garage purchases. There was also a complete breach of the Data Protection Act by sharing customers details to 3rd parties including Peter Vardy direct marketing. Due to the paperwork printed, they present you with this document with these boxes ticked to opt in already on their system. I received a sales event promotion to buy a new car 6 days after buying one... After unsubscribing I still received emails, along with receiving a phone call from a third party asking if I would like to claim a gift as I had recently purchased a car. I had to wait two weeks for replacement car badges that were removed (and binned) from the purchased car to repair some rust blisters that were present. The body shop manager also acknowledged a ding and chip that would be rectified and this wasn't, there is also a fist sized area on the rear bumper where the body shop have machine buffed through the paint! I've also had to replace a fog light unit that was clearly dodgy and fit a boot liner that was marked down on a service invoice as being fitted but nothing there. The net promoter score (this survey) is also false, they request 5 star reviews as this effects the salesman's performance and not actually the overall as it states. After leaving an initial poor review I was asked to consider this as it effected his performance. That's fair enough as his performance was fine however the overall is the one that counts and this is the one that slipped. It's an honest review and everyone will have a mixed bag of experiences. Luck of the draw and all that. All in all, I'll not be back and I'll be avoiding any PV franchise going forward.

Jamie my salesman was efficient and informative, always in contact with different options to make sure my needs and requirements were met. Colin was very good at hand over and dealt with a minor issue very effectively. My initial dealings with contacting your switchboard were a bit lack lustre from the girls on the phone and I had to call back two days after my initial call because I was told I would hear back straight away, in which time I did contact another dealer but had used this company before and been happy with the result. The good rating would have been very good if you improve your initial contact but happy with my new car

Having driven the car away the salesman gave me a courtesy call. I explained about a droning noise from rear. I was advised to call after sales, No one was available to discuss the issue and contact details were left with reception. I still have not received any contact regarding the issue. It sounds like rear wheel bearings and would like a technician to check the car over. (I'm currently at work and not available until 17th June. Best to communicate by email up to this date. Can we orginise for the issue to be check out after this date?) Regarding the service when purchasing . The salesman was very professional and friendly. His time and efforts are much appreciated. When it's time to change cars in the future I will be sure to book an appointment with him personally. Regards, Colin

In a competive market place, car dealers need to demonstrate good customer service. Derek Crombie extended such professional service. In all our years of buying cars, we have never experienced such respectful, courteous and efficient service than was given by Derek. From the outset, with his initial contact right through to the completion of transaction, he conducted the process in a totally professional manner. This made our buying experience with Peter Vardy Carstore a pleasant and memorable one, which has prompted us to recommend your Company to family and friends. JIm and June Anderson

Excellent service from start to finish. I had a wonderful experience of buying a car, Jamie Reid took me through the process and made me feel very relaxed and at ease. Explained everything perfectly, was just such an amazing experience. 20/10! Would definitely recommend!

From making my appointment i was shown a great deal of respect from the person who i first contacted, i was then called back with a time and person called Graham Crombie who asked what I was looking for offered a coffee or other refreshments we then went to look at Graham's computer to see cars i was interested in, Graham then took me to the cars i had chosen to see, i then had a test drive liked the car struck a deal with graham and I think Alister the financial manager, arranged a date and time to pick my new car up and then left, I was called to confirm my date and time and again called on the day to make sure i had no problems. I came in on the date and time and was again offered a refreshment, then Lee Adams came and took me over to where my car was, we went through all the paper work always at my pace then Lee showed me all the various switches and how the car operated. I then left more than happy in the knowledge that when it comes to the time to change my car Peter Vardy will be the place i go to.

I had a great experience at peter Vardy... the staff from the front courtyard to me entering and leaving was very professional and friendly great bunch of people..to me going to pick my car up a few days later which was absolutely brilliant they couldn't have done it any different for me.. plus they phoned to make sure I was happy with my car and any problems that arisen they would sort it out ... very very happy customer..

I am absolutely delighted with the salesman, Kim Dorrens & manager Stephen Pillans (?) who could have not been more helpful. They were professional & very understanding of my circumstances and made the whole experience a good one. Peter Vardy has made buying a car a very different experience from the "old days of haggling" & I commend the experience. I have had a couple of follow-up questions which have been fully dealt with and no hassle, well done everyone.

Bought a 2011 insignia after looking elsewhere in smaller dealers and being put off by hidden accident damage and general overall condition of vehicles. Came to peter Vardy and was happy with the car, that they had advertised, as a genuine straight honest car. No annoying sales people here either, which has to be a bonus. Would be happy to use this company again.

many many thanks to all the staff from start to finish at Carstore.My husband works in sales so was seeing what the experience would be like but we both loved it and i bought the perfect car. from welcome on entry to being offered coffee and 99 ice cream to the great service from Stephen Cumming and Michael Collins to actually sitting down and doing business on the car I picked but in a relaxed informed environment.My hubby even met Mr Vardy on his store visit lol.picked up car few days later with minor things fixed.like a brand new car excellent service overall..even got courtesy call.thanks Stephen and Michael .top marks.Elaine and Norrie Boag
