Apart from having to wear a stupid lanyard thing, which I found a little bit demeaning (I felt a little bit like a lost kid in a museum), even if it meant smoother operations for the local staff, I found the whole experience very positive. I was introduced by a kind of maitre d' to my sales person, Craig Dick, who personally escorted me round the showroom and helped me identify vehicles in the correct price range. All this was much more personable and personal than service I have received in other multi-branch car retail chains where the experience with sales staff is akin to being thrown into the middle of a shark feeding frenzy. Craig went the extra mile for me once we established that I really was interested in a car that wasn't yet showroom-ready - he sourced the keys, chased the valeting guys back from their coffee break and generally worked up a bit of a sweat dashing around to get the car ready for a test drive. He really is an asset to the company and at no time did I feel that he, or any of his colleagues, was pushing me in the direction of a particular deal that the company wanted. I think that Peter Vardy is a very customer focussed business and this was refreshing as one usually has the impression that buying a car is profit-focussed. For all of these reasons, I will be very likely to return to Peter Vardy when it is time to change my car (ironically, this will help PV's profits in the long run). 3 days later when it was time to collect my car, a very helpful team member called Colin took me through the handover processes. Again, Colin was very good at explaining various risks and obligations as well as pointing out the pertinent clauses in the various contracts I was signing. There was a humourous wee ceremony where I got to pull a cover from my car and play a daft tune on the sound system. It all felt a wee bit disproportionate for a 3 year old Fiat 500, but I have to say, I rather enjoyed the daftness of it. In all honesty, I would thoroughly recommend buying from Peter Vardy to all my family and friends. I do hope that both Craig and Colin are rewarded for their excellent service and I look forward to visiting Peter Vardy in the future.

Although first thought my experience of company was good, they didn't do follow up call when I has having problem with car and have had daily nuisance calls from a 3rd party company they have shared my ex-directory number with, despite assuring me they were only asking my details for Peter Vardy only !! Be careful if you go here not what it appears to be.

Alan M the sales person, was extremely professional, efficient and friendly. The minute I made an enquiry about the car he responded and answered my questioned. I lived 450 miles away, he made a short video and emailed me. The customer service and support was great. I didn't feel pressured l was made to feel reassured. Making the transaction was simple and took place over the phone and by BAC's. When I arrived at the showroom I was made to feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. Handing over the car was smooth, this was carried out by Kelly again very polite, efficient and professional. Very happy with the aftercare from Alan who delivered excellent customer service and made the experience memorable - to be honest everyone was customer focus and demonstrated this throughout the time I was there. Just like to say, thank you I was expecting this to be such a pleasurable experience.

Buying from Peter Vardy was a very different experience to anything I've had before. It was very refreshing - and enjoyable. The showroom itself is fantastic - the ample parking, the greeters, the coffee van & the wifi! I'd found my car online and dealt with Alan via phone & email before coming to the store. He was very good - responsive, polite and efficient. Likewise he was great to deal with in-person. The Octavia had several scratches and Alan consulted a few other members of staff to assure me they could be polished out. He then arranged for a "machine polish" - and I was delighted with the result when I picked the car up. Lee was very good when I collected the car. I didn't have to wait. She was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I really liked the extra touches - the Venture free gift, the "coo" soft toy (which my 3yr old daughter loves!) and the big unveil! I can't praise Peter Vardy enough - it was a great experience. I need to replace my other car soon - so I'll probably be back to buy again. I'll certainly be back to trade-up the Octavia again in a few years. Well done!

I found selecting a car at Peter Vardy super store was very pleasant and the staff especially Chris Doak where very friendly and helpful. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with a warm welcome and introduced to you own sales person. There is no pressure to sell you a car and the will help as best as they can to find you the deal that you are looking for.

Really easy to deal with. No hassle or fuss. Picked car up within a couple of days. All staff friendly and approachable. Bobby McDonald called a few days after I picked up my car to see if everything was ok. Will be recommending Peter Vary to my family and friends.

Upon arriving at Peter Vardy, Hillington we were met with a very friendly welcome, Jamie Reid was introduced to us and he took us around the showroom then left us to look, we were only coming in for a look but the customer service given by Jamie and James Quigley was second to none, we ended up buying the Mokka and are over the moon with it, Jamie was very professional but still was able to be a bit laid back and have a few laughs as well. I would definitely recommend Peter Vardy. Well done as it's very rare you get such good customer service nowadays.

I dealt with Elliott and Steven at the car store in Hillington Glasgow and they were both very helpful and friendly and got a good deal for me. The only thing I did not like is when I got the car there was no hand book with it and I think that all cars should be supplied with one when they are sold.

Looked at the car in the show room, pointed out a dent, scratch on back bumper, on 15th April 2016, they said if I bought the car that day it would be fixed on the 16th April, so I paid cash for the car, returned the next day to collect it and nothing was done, they said if I took it someone would call me on the Monday, 18th April, no one called, so I had to call the next day, a guy came out to fix the dent, and said I'd need to take the car back in for the scratch to be seen, the mechanic/painter looked at it and said the car would need to be booked in for a resprey, booked it in for the 10th may, Inbetween that I heard a clicking noise and had to take the car back in, mechanic said the problem was the tyres on the front of the car, so they said they would replace the front 2 tyres but they would only put £40 tyres on it, 21k merc? So I put new £139 tyres on it and got 80 quid back from them, while I was in ATS tyres they told me the tracking was also needing done! Vardy fixed all the problems, the car was not in showroom condition so why have it out on the showroom? I buy a new car about the 20k value every year, will I be back at vardy, doubt it. Best people in vardy where the after sales people, who I guess are used to dealing with front on the house problems.

Quite a different experience than with Arnold Clark etc. Came to look and ended up purchasing! My wife enjoyed the deliver experience, I on the other hand found it stressful and this in itself would deter me from returning in the future. Car was wonderful and we are enjoying in experience of droving it.
