“My experience with Cheap Flights Fares was very poor. After much frustration with the website working poorly, I was quite flustered. I inadvertently bought a ticket with a return one month beyond my requested date. I phoned the number given immediately. The agent told me I could not change the flight as it was my mistake. I had purchased an "assurance guarantee" so he did say I would get a refund of the ticket price. This turned into a classic Bait and Switch tactic: he immediately tried to sell me a ticket for the same flight for $259--$116 more than the original price of $143. That soon dropped to $162. But then, I would have to "acknowledge" the offer in an email. But what did "acknowledge" mean, I asked. Turns out it that in clicking "acknowledge" I would actually be accepting the offer. After spending two HOURs--talking with the agent but mostly waiting for him--I was done. I am glad I spent a little to ge that assurance clause. I will NEVER use Cheap Flight Fares again, and will advise all my friends to avoid it as well.”

“The flight was supposed to be from Newark to orlando. when i didnt take the insurance and went to place the order it flipped to laguardia to orlando and I didnt realize it. I would have never booked laguardia when i live 10 minutes from Newark.”

“I paid you in advanced for two stowed bags. I get to the airport and they say that’s impossible. It’s not a real thing that was the start to my honeymoon. I had to pay for bags on my way to my honeymoon and my way back that I already paid for… I tried everything to get reimbursed from you. I’ve probably spent a couple hundred dollars in my time and my wife’s time to get nowhere with customer service at least next time I know you’re a scam artist won’t pay for my bags upfront. I doubt you’ll even get back to me after this review, it’s been months and it still bothers me.”

“I believe this is a scam. I made this reservation in September. Today I received an email changing my 12/11 flight from a direct flight that would take two hours to one that takes six hours (including a three hour flight, a one hour layover, and another two hour flight). I would have never chosen this route. When I called the number indicated on the email I was then told I would have to wait for a call back about what my options were. All appeared to go through a non-US company. I have flown many times, and used the internet to make those arrangements. This is the first time that the company I made the arrangements through changed them so much a week before. It seems more like a bait and switch than a confirmed reservation.”

“Terrible. Book a flight and tried to cancel the same day because I paid for Flight Refund Assurance and was told I could only receive a credit. The customer service rep became very nasty and talked over me. Very rude Cheapflightsfares Ticket Policies, Rules and Restrictions Please note that most airline tickets, along with all service fees and charges, are non - transferable and non-refundable.Name changes in the itinerary are not allowed.The fare does not include baggage, Carry-On fees, and any fees charged by the airline directly. Airfares are only guaranteed once ticketed by the airline.Any changes, modifications, and charges are solely subjected to the availability and the rules and regulation of the airline.It is the responsibility of the traveler(s) to update and collect all travel documents required to travel to your destination is complete and valid.Visit our terms & Conditions Page for more details Cancelation The amount of airline tickets and the service fees charged for booking are non-refundable after 24 hours. Any cancelation beyond 24 hours is subject to the rules of the concerned airline. However, a cancelation fee will be applicable. Tickets can be canceled within 24 hours of booking for a fee via calling our 24/7 customer support. In case of a no-show, the ticket is non-refundable, and the whole amount is forfeited by the airline. To avoid a no-show, kindly notify us at least 4 hours before the flight departure. “My credit card was charged THREE TIMES for fare! Now I can’t use $683 on card as it’s tied up as pending charges that need to be released. Working with Cheap Flights Fares has been an experience I don’t ever want to repeat. And, they asked me to change my review to be positive before I even have relief from their mistake. I wonder if this was really a mistake or if this is how they operate thinking no one will notice. If pending charges aren’t removed by Monday, I’ll call an attorney to sue for my distress.”

“Poor cust srvc! On'hold' too long (to resolve Booking issues Ref#1726340). I was also overcharged;matter resolved after several phn calls! Reps should make 'footnotes' so there's better communication btwn them! This incident left BADD impression (going forward). Hotel discount shouldve been offered 'upfront' to 'make good' of a BAD situation (recovery) NOT sending coupon 2 days later/via email! KNOWING i've booked hotel alrdy by then (so 'too little too late')! Ive booked with CF in the past (3 previous flight bookings)..and NEVER encountered this horrible situation! NOT GOOD..”

“I feel cheated by this travel agency. When I bought the air ticket it showed me that the value of the taxes was being included in the total to pay. Then I received a notification that the transaction could not be made, I reviewed it and decided to call to resolve it. The customer service is very bad, the operator of the customer service center was a disrespectful person, he threatened me saying that I had to pay the taxes again with them or the airport was going to charge me much more money than this agency charges. I feel misled with false information. I honestly will not use this company again nor will I recommend it to anyone.”

“I was charged 200 dollars more for a one-way flight even though I used a "flight credit" that was for a round-trip. How is a one way flight 200 dollars more than a round-trip... I even looked at the flight before calling to check the price point, and it should have been fully covered by the flight credit... and the customer service representative was unpleasant. Never booking through this service again.”
