I've been a loyal Chewy's customer for the past 5 years, and I've always been very happy with their customer service and on-time shipping/delivery. Over the past year though, this has drastically changed. Shipping went from same/next day to taking up to 3-4 days. When you call to inquire about shipping estimates, you get rude and defensive representatives chock full of excuses (Yes, yes I know …. Pandemic-related delays. When does that umbrella excuse stop being "a thing"). My orders from Chewy's are for PRESCRIPTION dog food, for my dog who has pancreatitis and can't eat anything else. It's obvious Chewy's could care less about the urgent nature of their orders, but WE care and their lack of urgency, responsibility and civility are unacceptable. Shape up and take responsibility for your unprofessionalism Chewy's …. You're not the only game in town.

What a wonderful Company…. That sfaff is very attentive and always making at ours baby are doing well… recently my long-haired Chihuahua passed away on December 25 , 2021 . I went to cancel my auto shipment of my beautiful Pandora 😞. I wasn’t asking for a refund i, I just wanted to cancel the order, Chewy canceled the autoship, didn't charge us and also sent a lovely flower arrangement as a condolence 😞 thank you so much Chewy….. Chewy is the Best of the Best they really love our Furry friends 🐾 Thank you again Best regards Happy 2022 Carlos Santana

You cannot ask for a better company. Who else sends flowers when your pet passes and gives you a credit for food to donate?

This is literally the BEST COMPANY EVER! I always have top notch customer service, can quickly get a rep on the phone, they are always helpful & pleasant, & on top of all that Chewy has the best products, prices, & fast delivery! Recently, they blew me away & sent me flowers & a card for my dog Ryli that just had to be put down. She was a beautiful Havanese & amazingly was just under 22 years of age-(in March in 3 more months it would have been 22 years. I was eating an early dinner & then out of nowhere there was a knock on the door from a flower delivery service-(this was less than 24 hours after I spoke to their customer service rep.-David that these flowers & card showed up. It truly warmed my heart, & I greatly appreciate it! Then to top it all off, today I get another delivery from Chewy-(which is a memorial picture frame for my beloved dog Ryli)! I can’t say enough about how great this company is & how much I appreciate their kindness & excellent service!

So I usually don't write reviews but this company is wrong. So about a year ago I ordered from them and their page says 3-5 day delivery. Well on that order it took about 10 days and when I called they said they were really sorry and couldn't explain why it was taking so long. So I have not used them again. Then last Friday (12/17/21) I thought I will give them one more chance. I placed the order and it was suppose to be here today (12/22/21) and guess what, NOT. I check the website because it had changed 3 times and as of today, it will be here on Sunday. So I called again and their link is telling them Monday now. So here we go again, almost 2 weeks for this order of bird food. REALLY GUYS. NEVER NEVER again will I use them & I don't recommend them either.

3 weeks to get box of Heart Gurad. Order cancelled 4 times. No proactive action by Chewy pharmacy or Chewy. TS attitude. Not our fault. point fingers. No return phone calls. No proactive measure, just TS! I wont do any more business with their pharmacy. They endangered my Goldens at worst. at best went over due date necessitating blood test and vet visit. service is an anathema to Chewy. Corporate phone number786 320 7111. j walton

Chewy’s was once great; now they just don’t seem to care. Buy a toy for your dog at Christmas but, do so at least three months in advance or there will be no Christmas present (at least not until after new year; if at all). Their employees have a script they read or they really could care less. Either way, I’ve been waiting over a week for dog food and although it says out for delivery, I never receive it. It’s unfortunate but, lack of caring and customer service sure seems to be the “program “ in what must be their employee orientation program.

We started using Chewy for the prescription dog food one of our dogs needed in 2017. We then added the monthly prescriptions that both of our dogs needed. Customer Service was always friendly and patient with me as I learned to navigate the auto shipments. Yesterday I asked that they remove us from their emails, due to the passing of our last pet, he was 16 1/2. They responded with condolences and compassion. They asked if I wanted to return his meds for a refund. But, I was brought to tears by the kindness of Danny from Chewy sending flowers for our loss. I tried numerous times to get a Rx, my vet faxed the Rx several times and chewy did NOTHING to assist the process. Not helpful at all. There was nothing I could do because i spoke with the owner of my vet and he personally sent in the Rx and Chewy still did nothing to assist.

Our beloved 13 year old white Schnauzer, Gypsy, died on Wed morning. After taking care of her arrangements, we realized that we had ordered her dietary food two days before. We called customer service and they were so compassionate and warm, what a pleasant surprise! They tried to pull back the order, and credited us for the food, and said if the order was delivered to donate it to a shelter. Will do! And we received flowers with a heartfelt note that has blown us away. We will continue to order from Chewy for our 10 year old brown Schnauzer, Max. This is awesome service!

Placed an order with Chewy on 12/6 at roughly 6AM. The order was over the $49 to ensure a free 1-3 Day Delivery. Was sent an email stating that "Your order is on the way! ARRIVES BY Tue, Dec 7" Faster than I expected and was thrilled, Chewy regularly sent my orders the next day in the past. Tuesday came and went, and received my last email from Chewy about this order. "Delivery update: Your package will arrive by ‌Wed, Dec 8‌." Well Wednesday came and went. Nothing, that was the last communication from Chewy. Started looking at the tracking # and saw that both Wednesday and Thursday FedEx claimed that the package was on the Vehicle for Delivery. But nothing. Thursday night I contact Chewy customer service. Woman was pleasant and couldn't explain why the delivery was late but stated that Friday was the 3rd day for shipping. Which confused me, since 1-3 delivery I would assume if I ordered on Monday at 6am, Tuesday Day 1 - Wednesday Day 2 and Thursday would be Day 3. Either way she partially refunded my order and ASSURED me that if I did not receive my items by Friday they would re-ship my entire order at no cost to me. Friday, no package and at least FedEx didn't state they even tried to deliver. Contacted Customer Service again, since I did not receive my order and was told the night before that if I did not receive it, I would have a new order sent out. That's when I spoke to Andrew H. Well Andrew H, he didn't think anything was wrong. It's the Holidays, your package will get delivered at some point, no need to worry. Flat refusal to honor the package being resent as was promised the night before. Stating that the bar code was being scanned at FedEx so they had the package, but were simply not delivering it. I just want my dog food delivered. Like many on here I am not a rich person who can order $50 of dog food on chewy then go out and by another $50 more because my package might still be delivered at some point.

Buyer beware when making purchases on Chewy. I found out for the first time today that Chewy puts a full order hold on your debit/credit card and then charges you the actual amount once the product has shipped and places another hold. So, my $250 item put a hold on my bank account in the amount of $500 and it takes a few days for the hold to be released. So, unless you are prepared to be double charged for a few days - buyer beware - especially on large orders!

I liked Chewy until today. I ordered a bag of Stella and Chewy’s freeze dried rabbit for my cat and it arrived completely opened with a note attached that says “open bag.” Why would they send raw cat food that has been opened?? I’m also in a fix now because my IBD kitty is out of the only food he can tolerate. I’m so disappointed in this company.

If I could I would give this company zero stars. I purchased a flea medication for my cat because I read the reviews on their site and they all seemed really good, plus it’s all over social media & such so I figured they were a trustworthy company. The medication they sold me killed my cat, and after going to other websites I realized that this product was killing other peoples animals as well. There wasn’t a single review on chewys website about this. I’ve tried to post multiple reviews warning other pet owners about the potential danger that this medication has and chewy refuses to post them. They’re very clearly filtering comments to help sell their products better. I can now see why all their products carry such high reviews. If you write a bad one they just choose not to post it. They should be disgusting and ashamed of themselves for not letting people honestly know what buyers think of the products they sell. I will never buy anything from them again, and I will tell every pet owner I know of my experience and recommend any other company over this trash one.

I did a review on some fountain pumps that I bought. The pumps didn’t fit. The next day chewy sent me a refund!! I didn’t ask for a refund, a chewy customer service rep read it and responded! Thank you chewy!!!

We have been ordering from Chewy for the last 2.5 years and have had no issues and customer service is wonderful. We just had to put our beloved dog down and forgot to stop a shipment of food/treats. We contacted Chewy about the situation. They refunded us and told us to donate the food/treats, which we did and then they also sent us flowers with a heartfelt message. My husband and I will will continue to order from Chewy when we get our next dog and will tell our friends to order from Chewy also.
