“We are so pleased with our slipcover! We needed a solution after our cat went after our new chair and the slipcover is kitty friendly and makes us feel like we have our chair back. Be patient with how long it may take-it takes time for a quality product!”

“I am a returning customer and was already impressed by the quality of our first slipcovers. They are still perfect after 3 years, but we decided to change the color palette this year. The new covers are in high-quality linen and look soooo sumptous and chic. I could not have asked for more!”

“Great product! I love my ancient IKEA Hovas chair, but 10 years of cat scratching and a new color scheme for my master bedroom necessitated a change. I ordered my Comfort Works replacement cover, and it arrived exactly on time in great condition. Fits like a glove, and voila: my old chair is new! Looking forward to using them again in the future for some other IKEA pieces!”

“Customer service was amazing. The covers fit perfectly. The price was very affordable. I ordered two different slip covers, one for a Pottery Barn sofa and one for an Ikea sofa. Both fit great.”

“I ordered the farlov 2 and 3 seater covers. Customer service is amazing. I noticed after I ordered that I made a mistake. I emailed them and they fixed it immediately. I was worried they would take a long time to ship once they were done, but they were in China on Monday and on my couches in Nebraska by Thursday. Amazing!”

“My Pong Chair and footstool cover arrived within 5 weeks and they are perfect! The chair cover has the correct shape, with the sides of the cushion sewn, rather than the common 'pillow case' or slip cover style offered by competitors. It was money well spent to have fresh, clean chair and foot stool cover. The gold color is lovely, not too bright, just right. Thank you, Thank you. I'd definitely order again from Comfort Works.”

“Ikea has stopped selling the Klippan footstool and covers and I struggled to find a replacement cover for it. I came across Comfort Works who do covers for these. Communication is excellent, they responded within 1 to 2 days (due to time difference) every time. They do send out samples but if you know what you want, this isn't necessary. I went off the photos on the website and the colour I ordered is exactly like them. I proceeded to order and they kept in touch throughout, from when they were starting to make it, to when they were going to post it. FedEx delivered less than 4 weeks after placing the order, sooner than expected, should have been 8 weeks. Anyway, the cover is on, it fits like a glove, I'd actually say it's better than the original. Material is very soft, I went for the Everyday Tweed Grey, go on, order from this company, you won't be disappointed.”

“I found this great company just by chance while browsing through the net looking for a new covering for my old IKEA sofa. IKEA has already taken my sofa "HAGALUND" from the product range ;/ BUT fortunately Comfort Works produces customised coverings also for the HAGALUND type. I was so happy. The ordering was very easy and transparent. The team from Comfort Works informed me that there will be probably customs charges but they also said that tehy will cover them up to an amount of 60€ and promised me that I don't need to worry about that. First I was a little bit afraid how this will work...BUT when I got the bill from the courier service, I just had to scan and sent it to them and Custom works paid for the custom charges as promised. Everything was easy. I can only highly recommend Comfort Works! Thanks for the great new covering...it looks beautiful like a new sofa! :)”

“Very poor quality fabric. I have ordered a cover for my IKEA flottebo for which the most important part of it is the non-slip fabric at the bottom of the back cushions. The cover came 7 weeks later with a so poor non-slip fabric that the cushions could slide off the sofa with a push of a finger (imagine laying down with your back!!). The IKEA cover comes with proper padding under the coloured outer fabric, whereas Custom Works doesn't, you just get the fabric with no shape, so thin and wrinkly, no padding. Also to top-it up they have taken the freedom to change the design of the IKEA covers so it isn't really a replacement cover for IKEA sofas. Custom works doesn't design the non-slip pad under the cushions to be totally removable so you can't use the old IKEA non-slip pads on their cover so the whole thing doesn't work at all. All they offered was a 50% discount after weeks and weeks of emails back and forth. And that 50% refund is nothing but what I have to pay now to get the cushions fixed. Complete waste of time. Never again. Will not recommend to any of my friends. £319.00 pound for a cover that is literally worth £50 max.”

Thanks for the feedback Alice and sorry to hear about your experience, we do understand that non-slip fabric is not a 1-to-1 with IKEA's original, so when a smooth fabric such as linen is chosen - it will tend to have less grip than usual when compared to cotton and polyester-based products (what IKEA typically uses). This is why we gave a 50% discount without you having to return the covers, simply because this is how we're able to produce our covers and we aren't able to create replacements that would be 100% the same as IKEA's. As far as a slipcover goes, however, we'd like to think that we had provided the perfect fit as part of our guarantee and usually don't provide refunds whatsoever since there was no manufacturing defect. Nonetheless, we're glad that you're able to find replacements on eBay for £60, and we're glad that you managed to find an alternative that would help rejuvenate your sofa better to your expectations. -Melvyn from Comfort Works-
