“At this point in time I am rather disappointed in the quality of my stove. I've had numerous problems with it. So far Johnathan from tech support has helped in the resolution of most. but it seems the problems are never ending! Apparently my stove was made on a Friday just before quiting time! As I told Johnathan today, I think the stove is possesed by demons. He sent me some videos of stove problems and their resolution. Hopefully they will help me resolve the noisy auger that I am presntly encountering. With morning temperatures in the single digits I need a reliable stove. To date this stove is not!”

“Everything went great, from buying process to rapid fulfillment and shipping. Very smart to build shipping cost into item price, nobody likes to get dinged by another cost at the end of the process. Keeping it simple works for me. I would definitely buy from Comfortbilt again!”

“So far the stove has been great, basically set it and forget it on the temp setting. Heats our main living space quickly and has helped supplement the other zones with some fan circulation. So far quite happy. We did have some auger noise which was rubbing against the cylinder and the tech I emailed with gave us recommendations including powder graphite. It worked and seems that it is fixed now. Would recommend.”

“I have the 22 insert I. My comments are bitter /sweet for you. After reading the manual and a little learning curve I found the stove to run very well, generating good heat. The downside’s I feel you are aware of but have not addressed them? May be wrong so I will list them. In the manual option I get low temp when pellets run out even when I have a quarter bag of pellets in the Harper. They lay on the side’s and don’t feed to the auger. Your Harper is too small have to feed the beast every day. Glass fog’s up. Pulling the rod to clean the heating tubes can only be done when cold and with great difficulty. It’s clear the tolerance’s are off and have not been fixed. I thank you for replacing the vacuum which died after three cleaning. May I suggest placing a filter paper around the screen to prevent the main filter from being clogged so heavily.”

“I am disapointed that the stove doesnt shut off when the temperature is reached. It is a waste of pellets to have the stove run when additional heat isn't needed. I wouldn't have purchased the stove had I known it wont shut off when the temp is reached. The fact that it cant be hooked up to a thermostat is also a reason I wont purchase another Comfortbilt stove.”

“After the frustrating shipping issues were resolved, a professional chimney sweep was hired to install the HP22-SS pellet stove (+$1100 time/materials). He commenmented that (in his experience) typically the stove piping kits include an elbow or two, ours 3PVP-KCB-B did not. He said this is a good pellet stove. The fist 4 hours of operation, this pellet stove blased out air 86+ degrees on the highest setting.”
