“My HP 40 Pellet Stove from Comfortbilt was very easy to install and instructions were easy to follow. When it was determined a small problem had developed in a noisey exhaust fan, Chuck and Johnathan in Tech Support were quickly on top of it. Very pleased with my purchase and the support I received. “Two improvements are needed. When you put on the upper back control panel, Quality control should do inspection. Bolts don't line up 2. Have a specific spot for control wire to come out. Oh there was a third. .when lining up exhaust pipe the hole cut in back is off center”

“Unfortunately, I had to replace this switch after only owning the stove for 5 months. The auger gets stuck weekly and the pellets will feed too fast. There is no happy medium.”

“I’ve burned three tons through my Comfortbilt pellet stove. 1 season. My Auger started whining loudly after about 1 ton. I was able to correct it by cleaning out the hopper with a shop vac and lubricating the bottom of the auger with 3-in-1 Teflon lubricant every so often. The stove is capable of burning a bigger hotter flame than some of the other pellet stoves I’ve seen. So far I am happy with it. The online support and tutorials are extensive and accurate. I believe I will be able to keep this pellet stove running for a very long time the way it is set up. You need to get an ash vacuum with a thin extension hose and clean it out periodically. Also set up your outside vent so that it can be easily accessed for cleaning as well. After about 2 tons I was losing performance, but it was because the vent stack was getting clogged. So far I am pleased with my purchase.”

“In May while cleaning the combustion motor a blade connector broke off. I called to find out if the blade could be repaired. I was transferred to a parts guy, left a message and he never called back. I called again and got a knowledgeable Jeff Friedman. He said it couldn't be repaired so I bought a replacement. After receiving the replacement I figured out how to replace the broken contact, so now I have two combustion motors.”
