I have went to work in my new car and I have just discovered it's not insured yet and I requested it to be insured from the day before at 3pm I will be calling this morning the money has came out my bank

Took ages to get to talk to someone, gave up the first time and tried live chat on line... unavailable...back to the phone for another long wait.

We received emails about unexpected increases to car insurance premiums late in the evening after your office was closed with no explanation about the reasons for this. I think you should include an explanation with that sort of email and not send information out late in the evening. When I rang to find out what this was about your call handler was excellent.

My experience with staff was brilliant br4 very helpful I have had a bad experience with the company however and if I end up paying this extortionate cancellation fee I will go pubic with this experience to save other people

guy speaks to fast, cant understand what is saying most of the time. probably down to the pressure put on him by his employers to sell, sell, sell. ohhh , and waited 38mins and 41 sec before call was put thru …. sorry but that is the longest I have ever waited to be connected in my life of connections !!!! really !! I wonder if they were paying for the call would it be answered within 2 mins,,, yep.

Cheap cover is alluring but be careful. High costs for changing details and also to cancel. Also very difficult to contact. Can take days to reach someone on their preferred channel of live chat.

Customer services great on phone, but website poor and kicks you out. Example include . I have tried to reset password and the password link expired (twice) in 5 sec of pressing the link. The live chat does not always work. Payment link does not work they sent me.

The service is great however was on the phone for almost 40 minutes before someine answered. This is the thitd time I called and stayed on the line as it was the least number of people.

Just filled in lots of information on the live chat to then have a pop up message to say it is not working. Want to change my policy as I am buying a new car but can't get a quote!

27 people in q on phone . 30 min wait X2 as cut off once . Website not working whoops something went wrong came up twice . Helpful man when we eventually got through.

Hard to contact. Long wait times. Did the usual of bumping the price up a lot the second year of my policy. Wouldn't bother again.

Very efficient when opening a policy, though the call handler seemed very rushed. I called to correct details on my policy this morning, was told I was number 30 in the queue and it would be much quicker if I tried live chat, I logged onto live chat to be told nobody available and please try later. In my opinion that is poor customer service. I wish I had paid more and stayed with Hastings.

I have tried several times (6 TIMES) on different occasions to get in contact via the "Live Chat" service and it is always "sorry unavailable". Very annoying!

Received renewal. Want to stop automatic renewal as overpriced compared to others. No method of stopping auto renewal through portal, appalling. Have to phone, too many options to get to where you need to be so already hacked off, then in queue of 8 "due to high volume of calls" at 8am, nothing to do with volume of calls, you don't have enough operators on shift. Try live chat, available from 8am except it's not is it. Was going to give you a chance to requote but by the time I got through to an operator, just cancelled auto renew.

Second time around with One Stop, had my money taken and then been told I might not be insured for a couple of days. But don't worry if you need immediate cover you can call this number and wait in the queue for half an hour at 40p a minute.
