Really slow as I believe I wasn’t the only person being dealt with at any one time. A very stressful experience as I had to have 2 attempts to complete, I was almost complete the first time when my chat stopped! I tried using the portal but it wouldn’t allow me to use it so I had to pay £39

Wait times to long on the chat lines took over 1hr - this has been like this for months plus very difficult to work through queries via text...

I have been with One Call for two years, this year I rang and cancelled policy renewal, two weeks prior start date. However, on renewal date I received online documents from them stating they had renewed my insurance with them. On viewing this I attempted to contact them on the 16 October (date of renewal), to find the ‘live chat’ function had closed; therefore, I contacted them the following morning 17 October. During this exchange they insinuated I was fabricating initial call and wanting to charge £62 cancellation fee ... This is, unless I renewed with them and they would pay any fees incurred by my new insurance company. I found this particular customer service experience very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I would defiantly not recommend them to anyone or use them again in future, which is unfortunate because until today the only reason I left was because of renewal price, now it is due to company reputation.

I recently insured my car with OneCall and today received a letter charging me and additional £85 for misrepresentation as it said I had had a claim in 2018. When I checked with my previous insurer, who confirmed I had a 12 year no claim bonus with them, I was told the claim for for a windshield repair due to a crack caused by a stone. I have had no accident claims or convictions. Now I can’t speak to anyone and the chat service isn’t helpful.

While trying to save £15 for a change of vehicle, I spent a lot of time trying to make the changes myself on the customer portal. Eventually I managed to do this, only to find that there was a £24 Admin charge and an increase in premium for an older less valuable car. Most companies do not charge for a change of vehicle and to rub salt in the wounds, I did it myself!! Yes I know that databases have to be updated but come on, this is a few mouse clicks!! Will definitely think hard before I renew with One Call !!

Insurance is Ok but website/portal/payments page are absolute rubbish. Then after one hour was redirected to phone line to make payment, that took 3 transfers to different people and took 20 minutes

I have been very , very disappointed following your quotation . I went on line to purchase my policy and after i thought i had done that the site would not let me complete my transaction and kept on taking me to other parts to purchase extras that i did not need or want. When i looked at my bank statement i saw that i had purchased other items . No where did i see my final total and was unsure if i had bought anything at all. I am so , so disappointed and wished that i had stayed with my previous insurer ' The AA' at least i could talk to a human being.

Nobody answers phone. Waiting over an hour for a "chat". Other people (including me)have to work during this viral outbreak why not you. I want to cancel policy as of end of September. I have sent a letter being as nothing else works

The girl couldn’t even the car she was quoting for and it was the service I had to have rather than what I wanted. I wanted to know how much the new car was going to cost per year but she couldn’t do that. I wanted to call and speak

Tried to cancel my car insurance policy on live chat and instead of being transferred to another person to deal with my request they ended my chat
