We were browsing shops recently looking for a new 2 in 1 laptop for our daughter, and decided to take a trip over to CURRYS PC WORLD in Canterbury. My advice - DO NOT SHOP HERE ! We were happily trying to look at the products on display, particularly one laptop that we were considering purchasing, when one of the staff came over with another customer, and started moving the laptop we were looking at and clearly trying out, and closed the lid so that the other customer could look at it. I could not believe the rudeness of the member of staff. He finally apologised to us, and placed it back down so we could continue looking at it, but during the entire 30 minutes we were browsing the laptops, not one member of staff came over to see if we required any assistance! I WAS DISGUSTED considering there were plenty of free members of staff doing nothing! I have myself worked in Customer Service for some number of years, and I have never seen such a lack of disinterest in my entire career. Their loss - we had the money to spend that day and went elsewhere. I just wonder how many other customers have done the same thing though.

I needed to contact customer services and spent 3 days waiting for up to half an hour on the phone each time and still nobody answered . This has got to be the worst EVER after sales and has certainly made me vow that no matter how good a deal there may be i will NEVER BUY FROM Curry's again . Buyer beware !!

Indesit tumble dryer My daughter has recently moved out from home and one of the main appliances she wanted was a tumble dryer. So with a £200. Budget. While my daughter was at work my wife and myself went instead being customers of curry's at ashford for many years we thought would try the folkstone branch as it would be closer to take the tumble dryer back to hythe were she now lives. So we go into currys folkstone for which there was a young girl colleague in training she was very Good and very helpful but we did have some things she couldn't help with my wife had Got a voucher code of daily mail online. The Young girls supervisor I guess came over. She came over being very patronising and rude she told us this was for big kitchen appliances only. (Tumble dryer aren't big then) But then she said look DARLING it's only £199 you won't get it any cheaper.  So people if you find voucher codes on discount sites be prepared to be made to look and feel small. I recommend a customer service course is needed for some of the staff

I bought a white TV a JVC 32inch from the Wrexham store about 15 months ago. TV has had very little use and all of a sudden has stopped working. Asked in the store if they would help and the store person said that it was over 12 months old so no warranty. Took it to 2 independent TV repair specialists and they said that it was un-repairable. They also said that the TV was a cheep TV that was made in Turkey and that it was badged under the JVC label.

Went in to purchase a new tv, Fareham (Segensworth) Firstly no staff came to help , had to go and find someone. Asked questions to compare a couple of products, settled one to purchase. Asked if he could throw in a wall bracket, apparently could if we took extended warranty. After questions about this we decided not to take it, to be met with huffing and tutting from member of staff and were told he took it personally. Did say that we would go elsewhere and maybe he should reign in his huffing as it was really bad customer service. Upon leaving we approached a store manager to explain we weren't happy with the service. He apologised and told us he would chat to the lad and let him know it wasn't acceptable. He processed our tv purchase. Overall we came away with our purchase, but the experience wasn't a great one......

Have a KNOWHOW warranty with Currys for my tumble dryer called them out to notify of the problem on Monday had an engineer come out today on Friday. Engineer has disconnected the tumble dryer because the mains lead filter has burnt out and the part is now not available until next Wednesday. So I am now without a tumble dryer for well over a week and in this weather with a family I rely on this tumble dryer to get my clothes dry. Phones Currys and asked if there's anything they could do like lonely a tumble dryer or any compensation for me Hunter take time out of work today and again on Wednesday and they just weren't interested. You pay for a warranty to get things fixed when things can't be fixed on a timely manner then they just don't want to know. No Goodwill offered not a very friendly customer service experience, thank goodness I haven't got my boiler warranty with them otherwise they would leave us in a cold house for well over a week.

I ordered a fire stick in selly oak store three days ago. Today the store called me to pick it up. When I get there in the evening, the customer service refused to give me the goods that I have paid. I showed them my ID, my previous emails but they wanted me to go back home to get the paper receipt. In the digital era, I keep all receipts in my mobile phone. This is happening in a store selling digital goods! Perhaps they should close down the store and pass the savings to the customers in future.

Ordered a fridge freezer from Currys - price competitive and offered recycle service. Had to plan a whole day off for free delivery though. New fridge freezer turns up and installed, though delivery people then said they had no room on the van (even though they had just dropped one off). Promised to come back next day to collect, didn't turn up. Days later FINALLY got through to a rude, unhelpful, unsympathetic customer services agent. Eventually got a response on the phone that they had no schedule to pickup item I'd paid £20 for to collect and recycle. NOR could they rearrange a collection - so basically had been lied to, cheated on my decision to purchase with them, and rude, impersonal conversation for 40 minutes to get absolutely nowhere. I don't write reviews - this is an urgent message out to other people from someone really concerned about this company.

Paid extra for timed delivery of am when we went on to tracking our slot had been changed to when we couldn't be in. Tried to telephone 50 mins. wait on phone so went to store long queue someone said they had been two hours! Will never buy from curry again all though sales staff were very good let down by delivery and installation team.

Probably the worst costumer service across the UK. Unacceptable experience considering the brand. The costumer service did not deliver what Curry's promised. My wife ans I are still waiting for them to call us back as they promised. We are also waiting for a refund. I tried calling them but every time I call them they make me wait an unreasonable amount of time - minimum 30 minutes- and they never have answer for us. Their behaviour is rude as it feels like they do not care. I am considering never buying from them again and advise others to do the same.

Bought a fridge freezer, it was never delivered. 2 hours after my slot (9pm on a sunday night) got a phone call to say they couldn't deliver and they booked me for a redelivery. That also never turned up, so we rang them. After 20 minutes on hold it transpires they lied and never actually booked us in. Needless to say we cancelled the order on the spot

I have bought product twice, because of curry's website freeze when it was changing to security mode. Customer service assured me about, that I can collect one pack and after two weeks money for second one will be send back to my account. Two months passed off and I did not hear even sorry from currys. Be careful with them, mess in their data causes a lot of problems, their own staff does not know what happens with parcels. Using DPD couriers propably makes it even worse.

I ordered a dishwasher to be delivered on Sunday. Had to telephone Currys to find out if my order had been accepted as the email did not clarify this. Received an email on Sunday 7.09 to say it would be arriving between 8.45 and 12.45. Even though I had been led to believe that orders were sent out from 7.00am on Sunday. Delivery arrived and we spent 2 hours installing dishwasher to find there was a leak on the machine. Teleponed Currys and waited 30 mins for an operator. Was told that I would have to wait until the next day as the driver had not arrived back at the depot and that someone would phone me in the afternoon of the next day. By 4.00pm I had still not received a call. I telephoned and waited for 40 mins before my call was answered. The operator said I had to telephone Kenwood for a number I refused and told him that he would have to do it so he put me on hold and cut me off. I telephoned back and this time had to wait another 30 mins for the call to be anwered. This time I got someone more helpful however when I asked him if I could speak to a Senior member of staff I was told that he would not speak to me. Then their computer system crashed and my order was apparently the cause of it so they could not give me a new date. The operator did phone me back 1 hour later to tell me he could do nothing but would chase up the order the next day and get a quick delivery date. The next day I received a text telling me that my order would be delivered Friday 1 December. Some time later the second operator phoned me to confirm this but could not give me a time only that it would be between 9 and 11. I paid for this dishwasher on 14 November so Currys have had my money in their bank and I had no customer service from them whatsover.
