My delivery arrangement was confirmed on the trac-it site which told me that the fridge freezer was on its way. It did not arrive. There was no phone call from a driver/ delivery person to tell me about a problem, apologise or tell me that I would receive delivery tomorrow or even later tonight. The track-it telephone number is not helpful. It stops working at eight in the evening and a call before then leaves the caller with the endlessly repeated message that an agent would answer shortly. I have no idea what to do or what currys want me to do.This is the opposite of good business practice in every respect I can think of.

2 phone calls to currys customer services..each nearly 20 mins long! plus sent an email, (no reply!) I ordered on-line and never got a conformation email! yet payment taken quickly. Not happy at all, awful C/S!! cost a fortune calling from a mobile.

I paid £9.95 for a 3-5pm delivery slot on a Sunday. I had an email confirming my order and was looking forward to getting my purchase in a couple of hours time. My delivery slot came and went and I tried to contact Currys to find out what my order was but all customer services lines were now closed. I went on line and found that I could track my order online all I had to Do was click the link in my confirmation email for the courier company and I could see where it was. There is no link on the email at all so I'm left very annoyed and let down. I will now have to wait till the morning to talk to someone about it. I will not be using Currys again and will be advising all my family and friends to avoid them as well.

After nine attempts to deliver and install a range oven I now have an oven that is slow, noisy and only heats from the back element. Not only was Currys service and advice appalling but they wasted a monumental amount of my time. Nine attempts to deliver an oven... if you want to waste nine days just waiting for an oven not to mention the time going into store to try and sort it out... go to Currys!

I ordered a product online and was given the above delivery reference number with the delivery date of 23 November 2017. Initially the delivery window was all day (from 7am to 7pm) but on Tuesday 21 November I was given a delivery slot of between 13:55 and 17:55. Despite being in all day, the delivery did not arrive and there was no phone call. When it became apparent that the delivery was not forthcoming, I contacted the following number on 23rd November at 19:30 to see where my order was. It was 20:01 before someone was able to take my call. When I asked where my order was (for delivery reference 7447300058) I was again put on hold whilst the administrator tried to find out the status of my order. 20 mins later after no reply from the administrator, I terminated the call. About 15mins after call termination, I was called and the person apologised stating that the workmen had run out of time. I asked why I was not informed that they could not deliver on 23 November, despite the wide delivery time window, and was told that this would be dealt with internally. I am still waiting for my order and have lost complete confidence in Curry's as a company. On all accounts the service has been dire and has been the worst I have ever experienced. It is shocking and well below the service levels that customers expect. I have still no clue why the delivery was not delivered on the scheduled day and why in the event of a no-show, I was not contacted! At the time of writing this review, I do not know when my delivery will be scheduled

WHAT WENT RIGHT !! Bought a LG 55 inch tv paid along with a fridge freezer . Told I was to have the items delivered on Monday the 20th of November (they forgot to say which year ) waited on Sunday for a phone call for delivery slot as promised ! That phone call never came ?? 23 . Contacted them myself to be told the tv was out of stock despite countless ones stacked at three of their stores within my area , eventually had to go back again to the store and managed to retrieve a tv . Order was never prossesed despite being paid (total incompetence ) . Then was told my fridge freezer was not going to be delivered until January . It beggars belief the way staff at that store treat customers and the attitude is (you have spent money so therefore you can jog on and wait for your goods not to mention commission ??? Basic ABC procedures that primary class 1 would demonstrate better !! The after sales attitude along with buckets of cheek was a disgrace ,WHY ? Surely someone at senior level can deal with customer care appropriately and effeciantly ? 6 days later I have had no refund and no one in that store can help so where is my money ? Certainly not in my bank . Countless phone calls and no nearer a solution ! Disgraceful way to treat your customers curry’s ? Who at what level can put it right ?

I made a purchase from instore on Friday spending a significant £2500.00 and an EXTRA £20 for delivery! My delivery was supposed to be here yesterday (Sunday) between 11.30am and 3.30pm however, it never arrived despite me paying for this delivery day. We waited in all day which was an inconvenience after 3.30pm as we missed a very important prior engagement. I contacted the knowhow team at approx 4.40pm and after being on hold for over half an hour I finally got through to a team member who assured me my delivery was on its way, she also informed me that the local depot manager (Phil) would contact me shortly by phone to explain why my delivery was delayed. However, that phone call, much like our delivery, never came! I contacted the knowhow team once again this morning (Monday) and, again, after being on hold for over 40mins, they were unable to offer me any explanation whatsoever and simply said the best they could do was book a ‘re-delivery’ for Tuesday, no time slot given, just any time on Tuesday. This means my paid for ‘EXPRESS’ delivery will be 2 days late and I will have to take time off from work to accommodate this! I will also have to rearrange for the installation to be done by the third party and pay him AGAIN! In the meantime, we have no tv to watch as I had our old tv removed from the wall and all wires disconnected in preparation for our new arrival and as I am 5 months pregnant with existing complications already, (thanks curry’s for the added stress by the way) I am unable to lift the tv to reconnect it all. The customer service was absolutely appalling, not even a courtesy call to let me know my delivery would not be arriving let alone delayed! I wouldn’t mind but I was happy to collect from the store initially but they insisted I have delivery and then charged me for it, only for it to never arrive! I will not be using curry’s ever again and would advise others to stay well clear! I will be cancelling my order now and buying elsewhere as there are plenty of other retailers with the same products and the same prices who don’t treat their customers disgracefully. AO.com are particularity good for anyone looking for an alternative.

I called the helpline to ask if the Lowestoft store had a HTC VIVE in store that I could see demonstrated for me. I was told no and that the nearest one I could see working was Colchester some 75 miles away. That store has 3 in stock and will have one set up in store for customers to see it working I was told I asked her to confirm this as it was a long way to drive if they couldn't meet my needs. She called the store then called me back. She told me she couldn't get the store but would guarantee that my needs would be met. I drove to Colchester went in the store and was told that never had a demonstration model set up and never have had. I was angry to say the least. They then asked what my PC system that I was going to use it with was. I had very recently bought a new Laptop from Curry's PC World that cost me around a £1000, I showed to the sales person. I was informed that the graphic card was not good enough to support the gaming system above so I actually feel not only did I waste a £1000 on a laptop that wasn't what I needed but I also wasted today 1/2 a day of my time on a 150 mile round trip and the wasted fuel around 22 litres costing me around £28. I am not happy. The TV campaign they are currently running is laughable

Hi. I do alot of shopping online but for a new washing machine I decided to go in-store at Currys. I saw a nice display Samsung that was on offer. Paid for it and saw it bubble wrapped in front of me. All set for delivery on Monday. BUT come Monday had a call from transport to say go back in-store as the item wasn't in stock to pick up...? Drove all the way back to Currys who said the item has been collected by Transport on Saturday i.e. 2 days before delivery. Now the item is 'lost', my money has been taken, and I am without a washing machine with 6 kids in the household! Not one person has bothered to call me to give an update/replacement/apologise even! Basically if you want hassle free shopping don't use Currys. Just a month ago I purchased an oven from ao.com for the first time and it was as easy as 1-2-3 from the click to buy to delivery. Currys obviously don't care about the customers as the arrogance they have shown and negligence is shocking.

Purchased a cooker from currys. After using the cooker for a few days the bars and cooker began to lose its colour. Contacted customer service on numerous occasions. Staff were all giving mixed messages. After several attempts of contacting customer service, was told replacement bars would be sent to replace the faulty bars and a representative would be sent to view the cooker. The representative arrived in a very abrupt manner, I came down to find him shouting at my mother. I asked him to lower his voice and explained he was being rude by raising his voice. He then went on to say the bars are not loosing the colour and that 'aluminium is coming of our saucepans and a cleaning material will make the aluminium will come off. He then bought a cleaning material and began scrubbing the cooker. I explained to the representative that the cleaning material was not working so the cooker and bars are clearly loosing their colour. He continued to shout and say its aluminium coming off your saucepans. I then asked for his name and said I would be making a complaint about him as he came across very rude and aggressive. He then picked up his clipboatd, continued shouting and left. Contacted customer service again and was told a representative would be sent out again but we would have to pay the call out charge. Explained that according to the guarantee the bars should be replaced as they are faulty. Customer service hung up the phone. The most terrible customer service I have ever come across, staff member are vile and damn right rude! Absolutely disgusted by your service. Will never purchase from you again and will definitely not reccomend you to family and friends. Bottom line: would not reccomend!

Dreadful experience. We ordered a new TV on Sunday and they promised todeliver on Monday. We were told that some-one would phone in the morning with an expected delivery time. This did not happen. I had to check the time by phoning and was told that it would be roughly late afternoon after 15.30. By 18.00 the delivery had not appeared and soon after we received a phone call to say the delivery lorry had broken down and the delivery was cancelled until the following morning. I phoned Currys and they promised delivery in the morning. This duly took place but upon opening the box we discovered that the screws to connect the TV to the stand were missing. Yet another call to Currys who suggested I package up the TV and return it to the shop...what a joke, I'm a senior citizen!! The second suggestion was that I go to Currys and try and get the missing screws from an unopened box, another joke, a 10 mile drive with no guarantee that they would comply. The last suggestion was that I phone Sony to get the missing screws. This I did. Fortunately they were quite obliging and sorted it but we have had no TV for 3 days as a result. Currys...waste of time. We'll go somewhere else next time.

I am saying a HUGE 0 star to Currys. I am so! So angry as we paid for a TV and old that it would arrive today. Tracking text this morning, delivery would be between 1.20 and 5.20. Yes you guessed.......... No delivery. Got on the delivery cuctomer service line 26 mins, 18 mins and 10 mins. No one answered and spoke to nobody. Currys customer service is dreadful. I am so angry as at half past 7 this evening the tracking web page had changed to delivery in 2 days . No phone call, no e mail from Currys and no Text. I will now tell family, friends and anyone I come across not to buy anything from Currys. They have a dreadful customer service.

I am so cross about the day I have had and what should have been a nice straightforward experience of getting a new washing machine delivered and installed after the other needed replacing. Got a slot of 10-2 but still no sign by 2 nor a phonemail/any communication regarding what was happening. Rang up rather cheesed off to be told there had been an incident and they were running half an hour behind. I was very lucky to have a husband working at home which meant I could go out and leave it with him as fed up of staying in to wait. Then by text from husband learned they had finally arrived at 3pm - thought "great, finally.." then another text that it wouldn't be installed as not the right connection - how could this be when we had already had another washing machine installed?? I was incensed! husband told me to find a flagstaff which was not on our connection and without this, the "expert" was not allowed to install incase of any water leaks. Husband told him that should be ok if he just turns water off at stopcock and not to worry about any bit of water coming out. But no, and neither could he disconnect the old machine due to the same problem - so what was the point of coming at all?!! I would have told him to take the machine and himself back to where they had come from!! the incident was also apparently that the driver had run out of driving time so this was a different guy who had needed to go and pick the machine up etc etc but no explanation of why this was not communicated to customer. So Currys are happy to take your money off you but couldn't give a monkeys whether you get the service you're expecting, nor indeed the appliance you were so stupid to buy from them, whether it actually works as you expected, totally cheesed and will recommend to anyone thinking of doing the same to GO LOCAL!!!! they are experts, not these delivery drivers who have been shown to do the basics, so so so MAD!!!!!!!!!! on top of that, rang to get if off my chest - the music is awful, then get put through to someone else after waiting a good 6 minutes to have to have another 6 minutes worth and just lost the will..

Still no Birthday present 13 days after an in-store purchase of an Asus chrome flipbook Beware ! before you order in the Dundee store. Finally received the Chromebook on the 23rd August after purchasing on the 9th. The final straw was the Chromebook stopped working on Friday the 3rd November less than three months after receiving the item. I returned to Currys to have them take my Chromebook away to try and find out the problem which can take up to 28 days. So my birthday present is spending more time at Currys than with me. I am hoping this will have a happy ending with Currys showing me they can deserve a good review.

Delivery from currys due Friday tracked online and it showed it would be in the afternoon. It did not arrive tracked again then it showed delivery on Monday. There was no communication from anyone so sat in all day for nothing. Then from Friday evening l tried to get through to the delivery number, eventually got through on Sunday morning. Explained what happened and that l wanted the item cancelled. At the very least l would have thought that l would have been offered something so that l kept the order but no the order just was cancelled. I had another item being delivered from AO.com and what an excellent service, phone call to give estimate delivery time and then 10 minutes before l got a phone call to say they where near by. I think you could learn a lot from them.

Good Morning My washing machine first went wrong on the 23rd October 2017. The engineer attended the 26th October to fit a part didn’t fix the problem ordered another part. Rebooked for 31st October I took another day off work only for the visit to be cancelled on the morning of the call to say the parts had not arrived. You would of known this the day before therefore could of let me know instead of wasting my time and a days annual leave. Appointment then rebooked for Saturday 4th November part fitted only to be told more parts are required. Including one of the parts that was replaced on the first visit? This is now the second week with no washing machine I now have to spend another Saturday at the launderette paying £7 per load which when you do four loads equals £28 a time which means I spent £56 getting my washing done and spent two Saturdays sat in a launderette , wasted two days annual and now have take another day off work. Your quite happy to take the cover agreement payment every month but the service you provide is below standard. Not only am I paying for cover I’m now paying to use a laundrette and using the last days annual leave I have left this year. Why are not all the parts brought on a repair visit it seems to be a bit of a guessing game just keep fitting parts until the machine is fixed? How many more visits will be required until you have rebuilt the machine?

Went into store on Wednesday and spent £769 on an iPad Pro. None in store so arranged for delivery to store the following day. I wasn't contacted in any way and so phoned the store at 5:30pm to ask what was going on. I was told that it was not there but had been dispatched. The member of staff could offer no explanation as to why this was the case, but said that I would receive a phone call today, once it arrived. Needless to say, I received no phone call, so attended the store at 2:30pm. I was told that it was not there but the courier had not collected it. I enquired when it would be delivered and was told that they did not know. Was then told that any refund would take 3-5 working days, despite me being able to give them the money within seconds! I did point out that if I had taken an iPad on Wednesday, they would not have been quite as willing to wait until a vague date in the future as to when I was going to pay for it! I was then told that they only had an email address for the courier and could not phone. When I said that I was going to wait in store until the email was responded to, they miraculously found a phone number! At the time of leaving, I still do not know whether the iPad will arrive tomorrow or Monday. I shall not hold my breath. This is the third time I have dealt with Currys in recent months and the third time I have experienced similar problems and lack of service. If it were not for a discount scheme offered by my employer, I would not go near the place. I naively thought that previous experience was unfortunate, but unfortunately seems to be the norm. A lack of viable competition in the High Street seems to mean that they do not have to care about customer service at all.
