What went wrong was ordering in the first place, I had no idea the customer service was so atrocious. un-activated internet security was sent out, I've now wasted my money on four pointless phone calls and achieved nothing, I wrote two pointless e-mails, one had no reply, the second had a pointless reply suggesting that I perhaps could resolve my problem at the store, which for me is a 50 mile round trip! Anyway what's the point of selling online if you then have to go to the store? This company took my money and gave me nothing, thanks Currys what a gem you are obviously staffed or understaffed by brain dead people. I understand that sometimes things go wrong or don't work, but also any decent company would quickly send a replacement, well Currys don't fall into that category apparently and I'm still waiting and rather disgusted!

I have discovered that trying to arrange installation through KnowHow is the most frustrating experience ever. After being put through to the wrong departments, only to eventually spend an hour holding on for and with the right department I had truly lost the will to live. Sitting listening to the awful music for over 20 minutes after the auto system told me a 6 minute wait was ridiculous. Holding on for 20 minutes for an assistant to 'speak to a manager' left me wanting to throw the phone across the room. Then holding on AGAIN for them to speak to a further department left me suicidal. Then to be told that the delivery would be put back by 2 days to arrange installation for a gas fitter to cap off the gas point left me tearing my hair out. The worst service I have ever experienced with any company and I would never go through KnowHow again. I would rather arrange someone privately. I am left absolutely drained!

I ordered a (£700) fridge/freezer and requested Friday delivery. I booked a day off work. Wednesday I get an email saying they are delivering Thursday. No one will be in. I tried to contact them... IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. Just get automatic telephone answering that tells me I can't get a delivery slot yet and to ring back after 10pm the night before, followed by a warning that if I change date I may have to wait 5 days for redelivery. I've spend ages trying to contact them and tell them they have made a mistake, but it doesn't seem it is possible to contact them in any way...

On arrival was greeted by two members of staff having a good chat. Did not knowledge that I in the shop. Then I spotted another two members of staff having a chat. I went to the cash desk to ask for the laptop I needed. She told me to ask one of the men. I said I didn't want to interrupt they chat. When I asked. The product was not in stock. I could order it in store or at home.

Order never turned up on the day specified, no explanation or apology. I missed spending Christmas Eve with my family waiting for the phantom delivery. The second delivery attempt only had half my order on board. The driver rang head office to be told the fridge freezer had been damaged by a forklift driver (pull the other one!) and of course customer services hadn't bothered to inform me, the customer, of that. So I told the driver to put the chest freezer back on his lorry as I was cancelling the order due to rubbish delivery service and even worse customer service. I have spent tens of thousands of pounds with currys/pc world over the years but Don'tKnowHow is right up there with Yodel when it comes to sheer incompetence. The good news is I can order online through other companies for big ticket items, AO, John Lewis, even Euronics! I will NEVER buy big ticket items from currys again. Their loss as I've just moved house and looking for a new fridge/freezer, chest freezer, gas (or Induction) hob, oven, 65"/75" 4k tv and a dishwasher to replace my aging appliances

This review concerns not Curry's directly, but their delivery and repair service called "Team Knowhow". I have been badly let down by them twice now, once just before Christmas with a "next day" delivery of a dishwasher (which was not delivered on time as, apparently, the "van had broken down"). Currently, they let me down 3 times with the collection of an iPad with a broken screen, missed the first collection date because they "could not find the address", the re-arranged date because it turned out it had "not been booked" despite being told it had, and now, the third time because "the driver has phoned in sick". I am still waiting for my iPad to be collected...

Bought a number of large appliances online. Paid extra for fridge door reversal service, this was not done on delivery. I called to re-book this and was given a 4-hour window slot. I took a day off work for this only to receive a call from driver towards the end of the slot that he had 'lost his tools' and could not come. He said he would call back to let me know what he had arranged - he never did. Next day, I called currys again to arrange, gave me a slot. Engineer came but because the brand was Bosch he did not want to get involved! He said he would arrange for a Bosch engineer to come in - 3 days later, still waiting for someone to phone me... Terrible service and lack of communication - I have spent at least 3 hs on hold/talking to customer services.

Ordered on line for next day delivery. They lost my order and are now refusing to return my payment until they have investigated. Not my fault they got things wrong and the have no right to hang on to my money until they see fit to teturn it. Last purchase from Currys ever, .

*DO NOT BUY FROM CURRYS* I wasted 4 days waiting for a cooker - it was first delivered smashed, then failed to appear on the second attempt, then arrived without an engineer on the third attempt (which I had paid for to instal it). The engineer then arrived on day 4 but wasn’t able to take the old one away, which I had also paid for. I then had to take the old cooker to the tip myself and pay a fee. Spent about 4 hours total on the phone to customer service on the premium rate phone line they have set up.

I brought two apple watches on next day delivery. Two days later, one watch arrived - still missing the other one. I called them, and they then said it was out of stock and would never return (It was released 1 month before I ordered it). I called again and they promised they would resend it next day - 3 weeks later it arrived. It was a birthday present and due to it arriving late, I went out and purchased one with the hope of returning the unopened one.. Even this was a huge hassle despite being advised to do this by the 'KnowHow' team. They also promised me some compensation to sweeten the bad feelings - this never happened of course.

We had ordered a new washing machine including collection of old machine and installation. The Know How team doing the delivery removed the old washing machine and in the process emptied residual water onto the carpet in the lounge. The Know How team were extremely belligerent and refused to pay any form of compensation saying it was our fault! Since having such a bad experience with Currys I have used AO and have been very happy with the service.

Awful customer service. I did not receive my product on time, and was not told how long my product would take (even though I selected next day delivery). Despite the fact my product was going to a store for me to pick up, I was refused a refund until the product arrived at the store. Some staff on the phone and in store were very unhelpful, patronising and generally rude. It is not worth the headache for a slightly cheaper product! This is also not the first time I have had issues with Currys and I am certainly not going to use them again.

Got a fridge freezer, paid extra for removal of old fridge freezer. They arrived, refused to take old fridge freezer. Said it should be "outside, defrosted and dry". I bought in store and no one had mentioed this. They just refused to take it. I asked what am I paying for? If I could get it outside myself, why would I pay extra? And you can pay extra for installation....but they said it has to stand for 12 hours. Wouldn't even take it out of the box. So WHAT THE HELL DO YOU PAY FOR? Some bone idle, arrogant man to stand in my kitchen and belittle me before he refuses to do his job. When you buy a fridge freezer from Currys, you should expect to lose ALL of your food and prepare yourself for the most unhelpful delivery you've ever experienced. Go to AO.com. They are MUCH more helpful.

Bought an item of display and was told there was no box but all was in box was the instructions which I could get from intranet. I bought the item but when I read the info on line realised a container was missing. I contacted currys 4 times by email and tried on many occasions to ring but never got through to speak to anyone. Eventually I received a reply and was told bought as seen, we will not help. I have now got a container from Phillips who did say it was up to currys to replace it great customer service Phillips worse customer service CURRYS
