“We designed our ring through custom made and I couldn’t have been happier with the result. The fully online process was convenient and super detailed. From reference photos, to drawing up designs and 3D models there was excellent communication, price transparency and an amazing team. We found a design way outside of our budget and they were able to create a fully custom ring better than the inspiration.”

“Wonderful Job by your team. My ancestors were gold/silversmiths around the 1650s, in Amsterdam, and were always very interested in their family history. Our family crest is a very complex one that has many details. The team's attention to these details and their ability to reproduce the crest, in as much detail as they did, is amazing. They had to be imaginative. Good job. We like their approach to the design of the ring with an initial on the sides. The brushed finish completes the background of the ring. We initially thought that we would need an oxide for the background, but we found that the brushed background worked very well for us. It looks perfect. Even though we liked the oxide background, we chose the brushed finish. The design team worked with us over several sessions and were able to incorporate our suggestions into the final design. They were not happy until we were happy, even to the point of having the ring returned for further design modifications. We now have a perfect ring. Our family is impressed with the ring and service, and we are happy to recommend this company to others. Hans W.”

“Good Day! I hope everyone on your team is doing well! Although I am okay with how the ring turned out, and the fact this was a never before attempted design, I feel I was constatnly having to stress the importance of the significance of military insignia and the inablility/non-allowance to change or modify them. Thank you for the time and effort made however. I like the ring. I do have a question however. If one of my collegues were to want to purchase the exact same ring (with the exception of the lettering inside of course), would it be the same cost now that all the set up has been done? “I went with custom made for an engagement ring. I really wanted something unique and special. I couldn't find anything near what I wanted on normal jewelry sites. I found custom made on Google and checked it out. The custom made crew immediately worked with me on the idea. They were enthusiastic and helpful throughout the creation process. They gave me a 3d model of the ring I desired. They tweaked the design on my request. I gave approval every step of the way. They responded to messaging quickly and made the process easy. The ring arrived in a beautiful box with beat little engagement cards and advice. I can't recommend this company enough. Custom made made the exact ring I wanted.”

“The account managers and designers are phenomenal to work with. They ensure your project moves ahead smooth and timely. They take your input and design suggestions seriously and won’t stop tweaking and presenting new designs until your perfect ring is achieved. Absolutely more than I expected and we cherish the ring. “CustomMade has been the most fantastic experience for me. This is a long review, but genuine so I won’t leave anything out. Background: I wanted to make a family crest and then give my family members signet rings based off of my family crest. The process starts with you just getting to talk to a team member and ask them about the process, payment, style, what you want, etc. It is an instant message process but they will shoot you and email whenever you get a response so you don’t have to keep checking in to see if they responded. They also typically always responded to me within the day - often multiple messages throughout the day if I had questions. I am extremely thorough and they matched my thoroughness throughout the process. Price: I wanted silver and gold signent ring/pendant options. I got quotes from big well known jewelry retailers, local jewelers, and CustomMade. CustomMade’s prices were cheaper by a significant margin. Process: When you are ready to start the process for-real and start working with an artist. You pay a $100 deposit and then you begin. They do not start making your ring until you are fully satisfied with their 3D renderings. Then you pay half. Once they finish your rings they send you photos of the finished pieces. You then make the other half of the payment and they ship it out to you. This process is absolutely the gold standard in my opinion. No other jeweler has this option that I found and ability to constantly tweak your design to your satisfaction and you don’t have to make appointments or anything. It is just a straightforward you work on it as you go and they take your feedback and then in a couple of days give you a new 3D rendering with your updates. Shipping: I have made 2 orders now. The first order I went through the whole process above and got 2 signet rings and a pendant of my family crest. The 2nd order went way quicker because I didn’t have to go through the design process. They just started making the pieces I asked for. I got 2 rings and 3 pendants in that order. Shipping is UPS (in my experience in the U.S.) and you have to sign upon receiving so no beed to worry about porch pirates. In my second order they had to adjust my shipping time to after Christmas which was unfortunate, but it was because one of the rings needed some fine tuning after it went to their QA team. I can appreciate wanting to send their best product even if it means they have to take longer. They don’t cut corners. Packaging: Very sleek and classic jewelry packaging. Great boxes for a gift. Overall Experience: 9.5/10 Only reason for the .5 off is I had to correct them a few times during the design phase trying to get it to my desired result, but they worked with me the entire way and again that may just be due to being almost too thorough on my end! If you are wanting a signet ring or any ring with a design of some sort on it - I wouldn’t recommend you go anywhere else. CustomMade has a fantastic process!”

“I really wish there was an option to go above 5 stars. They really deserve it! My (now) fiancé and I designed all 3 rings (her engagement ring and both wedding bands) using CustomMade and if we were to say the rings were absolutely perfect, it would be an understatement. The team was amazing and very responsive to new ideas or changes at any step of the journey to really make your dream ring come to life. You get exactly what you ask for, truly making it a CustomMade ring. PS: Yes the diamonds are real, we tested them just to be absolutely sure once we got the rings.”

“The ring that I custom made for my then girlfriend, now fiancè was a complete success and a dream come true in every way I had imagined, with the exception of being completed in the timeframe I had hope. The jewelers and designers at custom made try to make sure you are responded to in a timely manner but sometimes fail at smaller detail interpretation even though details seemed to be ironed out to a T. There were a few hiccups along the road to getting my fiancé's beautiful rings since I did a double center stone wedding and engagement ring. The jeweler had chipped one of the center stones and had to aquire a new one which set the project back significantly. Recutting the stone and refitting the ring took alot of time. However they took full responsibility when it came to paying for the new center stone and any other hiccups along the way. Only reccomendation would be to plan your ring a year in advance to truly ensure that you have the ring of your dreams when you need it by.”
