“Sorry to say this afternoon tea package at £36 inc delivery was a little disappointing. We didn’t feel it represented good value for money.”

“I ordered a lemon drizzel cake to be delivered on 10/02/21 but it arrived on 11/02/21, too late for the intended occasion. I e:mailed thecompany about this but received no reply. The cake, itself, whilst tasty, was heavy and dense and not at all light. It was quite expensive for a small cake but I would have been happy to pay the cost if the cake was good. Very disappointed.”

“Never having bought from you before I didn’t realise how sweet everything would be with sugary decorations. I do like chocolates and cakes however I found the box I selected was too fussy and not my cup of tea. Thanks”

“Unfortunately our afternoon tea did not arrive until about 5.40 pm so dinner time. The scones and cakes seemed a bit hard and not very fresh. It was disappointing after having looked forward to it all week.”

“I wrote to customer services after receiving the cake - it arrived in a unsealed open box so we couldn’t eat it. I didn’t hear back from customer services afterwards. Surprised this was sent through to me”

“Honestly not great. Booked a specific delivery day before Valentine's and they said the delivery company lost it. Delivery website said they couldn't collect it. Offered a delivery after Valentine's despite lots of notice. I don't feel they try at all to help customers despite my asking.”

“I ordered this box for a birthday and was advised it would be delivered on Feb 24th. It still hasn’t arrived on 25th and when I emailed to enquire, I was informed the delivery service had lost the parcel and they couldn’t send out a replacement until March. Only reason I didn’t give it very poor was because I was given a refund promptly at my request.”

“I rarely complain or provide negative feedback but unfortunately was quite underwhelmed by the Hello Kitty afternoon tea. This was a special treat for my daughter during lockdown and before a new baby’s arrival. Unfortunately she enjoyed only the scones. It was quite expensive and therefore I was disappointed.”

“This was my second order from this company. The first was for a cake for New Year which C&S were unable to deliver so I thought I'd give them another go. I can't fault the delivery...however that's the only positive comment I can make.”

“For the price paid plus delivery I feel the item was overpriced, the Lemon Drizzle cake was lovely, but the scones and brownie were just ok. I could taste the plastic on on scones which was really off putting, it was a shame as we were both looking forward to doing something different during lockdown”

“We were very disappointed by the truffles out of the four of us none of us liked them - although I did order another pack as a gift and they liked theirs. The Hot chocolate was fun and enjoyed. I’m a really Emma Bridgewater fan so that encouraged me to get this box, overall not value for money and very disappointing.”

“The sponge itself was quite dry and firm, soaked with a sugar syrup perhaps too, I'm not sure. The look and decoration is lovely, it just doesn't actually taste that good unfortunately.”
