Called on the date of delivery, to cancel the order saying the item couldn’t be delivered to us. This was a birthday cake by the way, ordered weeks in advance, a detail that nobody bothered to check until the last minute, despite the website saying we’re in the delivery radius

Poor service. Didn’t deliver in time for a birthday celebration despite paying extra for an express morning service. It was delivered 3 days later in the afternoon! I have been given a full credit when I called to complain but I’m not excited about using the credit with this sort of service.

The cake looked quite pretty but it was incredibly small, the sponge was ok but not much of it . It was very expensive for what it was and I would not waste that amount of money on a cake that size again . I could have got something from Waitrose probably for much less . Very disappointed as it was meant to be a 21st Birthday cake for my daughter. Sadly I will not be recommending this company to anyone and I won’t be buying from your company again . You need to do much better !

Can't review as the gifts never arrived to Epsom or Hersham .I am very disappointed. I would like to reorder at some point.They were both very important. deliveries.

Update: 17th November. I have been asked to submit a photo. What am I submitting a photo of?? Cannot take a photo of a missing box of brownies! I ordered 2 boxes of the mini brownies but only one box turned up. I wrote an email explaining the situation, however no one bothered to respond. Tried calling customer services, I was on hold for at least 20 minutes. Very disappointed.

I was really disappointed with the cookies. They are usually amazing, however this time around they were quite hard and not the quality I have expected from my past purchase. Really disappointing from what was always a great go to for cookies and treats

very disappointed and we ended up throwing half the cake away as no one wanted to eat it! sorry guys. We were expecting fresh not butter cream and the sponge was over buttery, not soft and lacking in any vanilla essence. We will not be recommending

I feel very disappointed. It was my first time using your delivery option for a birthday present. The present arrived one day later and the birthday card was never delivered, which of course affected the surprise that I wanted to make to my friend.

The item looks nothing like the picture. It is a frozen cake so small it can fit in the palm of your hands. I have ordered a 6 inch before it was nothing like this one.

Over priced for what it is. Also, food safety issues as the cooling gel pack is not marked DO NOT EAT. Will not be ordering again.

We ordered a small vegan chocolate cake for a birthday for £47.99 plus £6.99 for delivery (£54.98!). Although, the delivery was very quick, the cake was not very nice, it was too sweet not much chocolate flavour at all. In my honest opinion, I would have done better picking a cake up from M&S or Waitrose for £10-20 and it would have tasted better. I know better for the future.

My cake never showed up. I got an email the day before it was supposed to be delivered saying they would let me know when it was on its way and that was the last I heard about it. It didn’t show up. I’m sure it was going to be delicious.

Had a minor issue with a missing item. After contacting them to explain, they informed me that they required a photograph of the issue to investigate further. A photograph...of the item we did not receive? Apart from being slightly insulting in that this assumes complainants are lying or wrong, it's obviously impossible to take a useful photo of a missing item. After pointing out this was a silly policy and providing some random photographs of the items we *did* receive, they did eventually fix the issue (after offering a partial replacement ... of a single item in a multi-item order, three days later). Further to this, they repeatedly ignored the feedback on this policy, in spite of my providing it three times, and refused to even suggest this request was silly - instead responding that they'd investigated and punished the packing team. Given my complaint was *about* the customer complaints team, I can only assume this was them covering their own error or incompetence and shafting some other poor employees, which left a bad taste in my mouth. This order was a celebration that was marred by a small error, then ruined by awful customer service. I wouldn't recommend them as they obviously think their customers are either thieves, or idiots.
