My 1st order was refunded straight to my bank account without any notice , the item was still for sale on the site so I reorderd again only to be told it was out of stock again , yet again the item still showed as available after this ?!

My order was cancelled due to item being out of stock, yet the money came out of my account and then refunded in my PayPal account not my actual account causing me to go overdrawn and charged for this... No product and cost me more money!

We strive to keep instances of this to a minimum. When a refund is actioned, it is always done to the account from which the funds were paid to us. Have ordered four shoes, two arrived and were not the size ordered. I was then informed the other two were out of stock - took me to call the head office to receive a refund. That afternoon visited a Daniels store only to find exactly the shoes I had ordered and told were out of stock in the store. They did honour the online price!

I made the order the 9th of July, they made the payment transaction through PayPal the same day, My package arrived the 24 th of July. That's NOT a brilliant service, I'm very disappointed, And will never order from that company again.

placed an order of which I was told was in stock and paid for it, then a few hours later without contacting me they cancelled it I would have liked to have placed a different order but no instead they refunded me, will not use this site ever again.

Well where do I start. The prices were great and the quality good enough for me to place an order but that is where all the good service ended and the worst service I have ever experienced began. From the service team taking over a week to even dispatch my order to the customer service team taking over a week at a time to reply to my emails. Your company needs much better service and not to mention it's now been over a month and I still haven't received my order. And yet customer service hasn't offered any compensation instead I was sent an email to review the page so here you go. I expect you to fix this if you want me to order from your site again as I will not be doing so after the service I have recieved.

At the time of your order, we were experiencing problems with our international courier, which led to delays in some of our orders. We are now using a new courier, Fedex - a change which means we now offer delivery to Australia within 2-4 days of dispatch, with daily collections taking place. Be aware of this company,I have bought a pair of shoes cost me with the delivery more than £80,when arrived the shoes where in bad condition,I have contacted them ,they send me posting label( and this is the trick,I should make it special delivery,after 3weeks I didn't get any response,I have contacted the customer service they said send us the proof of the post ,I did,after they said we didn't find the parcel,( we are in the same city LEEDS). Really bad customer service and dodgy company.

The quality of our footwear is obviously something on which we place a great deal of importance, so we take feedback like this very seriously. Regarding the return, unfortunately we find that some of our return parcels are delayed on their way back to us, which is why we sometimes offer the proof of postage service to speed up the process. In addition, we have actually been working hard to improve the efficiency of our returns system, and are delighted at the results at the moment. Was really pleased to see these shoes on offer and in size so ordered them A few days later I got an email from Daniel saying they weren't in stock What a waste of my time.

Overall very poor service and poor quality - the delivery of the shoes were late and I had to chase up the orders several times to find out where they were. In addition the quality of the shoes was poor with one shoe having scuffs all down the side and a large stain on top of the shoe. I chose these shoes for my wedding for me (the groom), 2 best men, usher and fathers (groom and bride) to wear however due to the late arrival we had to make do with the condition they came in as we were flying out to Spain on the 17th and had no time to exchange them. Not what i expected from Daniel Footwear.

We find that although our deliveries are on time in the majority of cases, there are occasional instances of late delivery. The same applies with the quality of our items: we have quality control systems in place to keep to a minimum instances of substandard items being dispatched, but unfortunately some faults are missed. I ve left a negative review and the reply was obviously it will get sorted so that people that read the reviews think that it s a good service after all, but guess what it s been 3 weeks since my review and still nothing got sorted, still have the faulty shoes that got sent to me

After i ve reordered the shoes as exchange wasn t available, paid for delivery again i got sent a faulty pair. Melissa shoes are made of plastic, this ones have lace inside of plastic. One of the shoes has been cut and plastic was melted to put it back in place. The edges are cut to bring it in line and the plastic on that area has different texture compared to the rest os shoe I order things online regularly, even from daniel footwear i ve ordered in the past but i ve never received an item in such a state The worst experience so far from my online shoping

Dear Florentina, Thank you for your review. This is an unusual situation. When the returns are processed the exchange item is found on our system and the stock levels are checked to see if we can send out an exchange. At the time that your return was processed the item was not in stock so we had to refund your order. You placed an order 3 days later when the item was showing is stock again on our website. This was due to the item being returned by a different customer. If 2 or more are returned then the stock will show on the website. As my order has not been received and I am getting no response to my queries to trace the delivery (on 3rd attempt) I have no choice but to give Daniel Footwear a poor rating. I will definitely not be recommending their customer service.

The shoes were what I expected, but the delivery was far from that. The correct address was on Daniels paperwork but the incorrect address was on the label of the package, how could that happen?? It took two phone calls to sort it out which was an extra cost plus time and aggravation. I hope this is not your norm. First time customer.....

Dear Susan, Thank you for your review. The address should not have been wrong on the label as they are inputted by hand directly from the invoice. This error happened within our warehouse so please be assured that the issue has been escalated. This is not something that happen frequently. I will refund your postage for you now. Unfortunately with regret I haven't endured a very good first experience ordering goods via yourself. Firstly the goods got delivered promptly, that is the only good point! On receipt of the goods 2 odd shoes had been delivered. These were sent back special delivery at more expence to myself for your companies mistake. I have produced information confirming the return has been delivered to your warehouse. I am now being asked to send my only proof of return to yourselves which as you can imagine I am reluctant to do as you are also asking for the original copy, which would leave me with no proof of sending the item back. If anyone can help resolve this issue to reverse my bad experience would be much appreciated.

Dear Joseph, Sorry to hear that you have not found your shopping experience with us a good one, For any problems that customers experience like you did, receiving an odd pair or similar, usually a royal mail prepaid returns label would be sent through when we are first made aware of the issue. If the customer has already returned the item, then if we can obtain a copy of the proof of postage, we are able to refund the amount for them. I believe that the latter option was the case with yourself and a refund of the postage is being made. Unfortunately, when customers pay for their own returns, as was the case with your own, we cannot guarantee that they have always gone to the correct address, which is why we require a copy of the receipt so that we can clearly see the royal mail tracking bar code and the destination postcode for the parcel. Obtaining this information means that we are then able to refund the items. We do only need a copy of the receipt, and apologies if this was not made clear to you, I believe that your return should now have been processed and also a refund for you postage should be forthcoming also. Once again, apologies that you have found your shopping experience so troublesome, and i hope that in future you will not come across the same kind of problems. Placed and paid for my order which at the time of ordering was in stock - received relevant email confirmations-couple of days later received email saying item no longer in stock so order cancelled. The fact that you have asked for a review after my order was cancelled as item was unavailable says a lot about your customer service or lack of!

Dear Tina, Thank you for your review. Unfortunately when an order is placed the item you have ordered is subject to availability. A lot of your stock comes from stores, and even though they have stock takes they sometimes have discrepancies. Our orders are also quality checked before sending out to a customer, so if the item in store is not up to standard or is ex-display we will not send it out for an order. On the website we do have a stock buffer to help prevent these situations, however unfortunately out of stock issues do sometimes occur.
