Shocking customer service! Wrong item delivered, impossible to get in touch with the emergency support team!! Would never use again. Dreadful. Do not waste your money.

Although we did take steps to make up for the mistakes made, that doesn't excuse the problems you faced. All we can say is that your experience was not indicative of our normal levels of service. Unless you want your flowers to come at 6pm at night don't use them, there product lacked in quality and size. The flowers only lasted a couple of days, poor quality, poor service and I will certainly not be using them again

Dreadful service!!!! The flowers that turned up looked nothing like the picture. Turned out at least one of the flowers were substituted without them bothering to inform me!!! I bought that particular bouquet as the person they were for hates pale coloured flowers and the roses and lillies were meant to be all bright and gorgeous! What turned up was pale horrible roses (the substiution) and the lillies were also no where near as vibrant as online. Flowers were also very rough and battered. Took over a week to get in contact with customer services, over numerous emails and phonecalls. At least 2 of the phonecalls I was in a queue for over half an hour (one time I gave up, the second one was when I actually got through). Eventually after speaking someone was told to send pictures to prove my issues! Good job I'd taken some when they arrived as by that point the flowers had all died! I sent these over and on the same day received a reply to state that they had substituted some and considering I wasn't happy they were going to give me store credit to use on another flower purchase! I couldn't believe it!!!!! CREDIT! As if I am EVER going to use this service again! I replied with this and stated I wanted a FULL refund including postage which they obliged. My favourite line in this email was 'thank you for confirming your preferred method of refund' HA, they hadn't offered me this I had to ask for it! In conclusion, if you're happy for the flowers you order to not be ANYTHING like the ones on the website and for some ATROCIOUS customer service if anything goes wrong I recommend this service. However, my advice would be to not touch this service with a barge pole!

For the price the flowers were shocking! Very small bouquet and I won't be buying again

The postman left the flowers behind the dustbin and my friend was away and came back a week later to find them ! Rather waste of my money and a disappointment for her ! Also no card was put through the door with a date of delivery on it

The flowers were OK. I did order additional items to be delivered with the flowers (chocolates) which were charged for and never arrived. This is the second time I have used this service and the addition has just been ignored (but still charged for). I assumed the first one might have been an unfortunate mistake but it appears it is common practice. This is basically theft

I ordered a bouquet for Mothers' Day, which was withered and dead when my mother received it. I sent several emails to the support address and spent about £5 calling their premium hotline to try and sort things out, but didn't get any response. In a fit of desperation I emailed the CEO of Debenhams and outlined what had happened. Nearly immediately I was contacted by a customer support representative, offering to refund me the paid amount and deliver their most expensive bouquet to my mother free of charge. Both were done, and done very well. However, this doesn't avoid the fact that I shouldn't have had to contact the CEO, and I feel that my complaint would have been ignored had I not done so.

I already sent a complaint to Debenham flowers but they ignored it and now a few weeks later they asked for my review of their service. Ok. The flowers I ordered turned up a day late and virtually dead, the only flowers to survive longer than two days were the lillies. The bouquet was bone dry when it arrived so it was hard to say how long the flowers had been without water. I had bought the flowers for Mother's Day and thought it would be nice to have them delivered. Needless to say I won't be using their service again nor recommending it to other people. I did ask for a refund but heard nothing back, no acknowledgement of my note so now the note is publicised.

Very disappointed with debenhams flowers! I was disappointed when my friend sent me a photo of the flowers , I had sent her for her birthday , very poor value for the money paid. I would not recommend debenhams flowers.

I was very disappointed with the service & quality of flowers of my first order, i had ordered a vase for my flowers to be delivered in, but this was missing when I received the flowers. The quality of flowers were very poor, considering how much i spent. I phoned to complain & received a refund for the amount of the vase, with no apology given. I e-mailed customer services to reitterate how disappointed i was with the service & 5 weeks later i have still not received a response. Will not be ordering from here again.

Possibly the worst flowers I have ever ordered. I was embarrassed because of them, at my Nan's funeral! I paid extra to have a large bunch and I struggle to see how they could've been any smaller. Do not order from Debenhams!!!!

Half my mother's day flowers were dead. Sent an email to customer services with no response. Disgusted with the service &flowers. Valentines day flowers were all dead within 2 days. Again awful service & flowers. Never again.

Here is a copy of the email I sent on the 9th of March to support@debenhamflowers.com to which I have had no response. Hi, I am writing to say how disappointed both myself and my mum were with the quality of th flowers she received for Mother's Day. The flowers were delivered on Saturday. By the time Monday came several of the flowers had died without even opening up. I feel that the flowers were a waste of money and wouldn't recommend your flowers to anyone now. Regards

After getting my order wrong for Mother's Day (flowers, wine and balloon all ordered as separate items) it took numerous complaints via their website, emails and telephone calls before they finally acknowledged they had made a mistake and failed to order all the individual items ordered and that was only after I warned that I would sue them. As a 'gesture of goodwill' they offered to refund me the element they had failed to deliver. After pointing out that they where in fact legally obliged to do this they offered me a derisory on line gift voucher, which would have bought me nothing and I would have had to add to it to get anything . After much discussion they finally offered to provide a small bouquet to my mother by way of apology but even then that was over 3 weeks after Mother's Day and the message they sent with this second bouquet was wrong! Terrible customer service and attention to detail. Will not use or recommend them to anyone.

Mother's day flowers arrived after Mothering Sunday and after several days in transit were mostly dead. I sent a message to Debenhams to this effect, but have received nothing other than an auto -generated e-mail confirming receipt of my feedback, and stating that this is a busy time so a response may take longer than usual. I actually wasn't too upset by the flowers arriving later, but sending one's mother dead flowers was extremely upsetting and embarrassing. Certainly not a "service" I will use again, and I hope that Debenhams will re-think their delivery methods. I would far rather pay more and send live flowers.

Awful! Flowers delivered 2 days late for a 40th birthday. Waited 2 weeks for a reply to my email. The only good thing I can say is that I received a refund. Will never use Debenhams Flowers again.

The flower bunch was a lot smaller than expected especially for the price! The flowers died in less than a week - the lilies didn't even open they had already died. Not happy and won't buy flowers from debenhams again!

Ordered flowers, chocolates and bottle of prosecco for mothers day and only the flowers turned up. I understand mistakes happen so I sent email to them and waited patiently for reply to get it sorted. I waited....and waited. I then tweeted my problems to be asked to email another address so they could chase it up. Only then did things get sorted and refund given. If things had been rectified earlier, fine, but to have to chase round for what you're owed is not acceptable. Won't use again and will stick with company I have always used in past and never had a problem with.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for mothers day i sent an e-mail complaining about the size of the bouquet that i was not pleased at all i recieved an e-mail on the 7th march from the Debenhams Flowers Team and another e-mail from John customer service Assistant I have heard nothing since those date's WHY ? I wrote to you to explain my mother in law didn't receive flowers on mothers day and want a refund or flowers to her and me. Flowers were left in neighbours porch and she did not receive until end of following day. Do something Debenhams!! I am not happy!
