Been using Door Dash for 1 1/2 years now and only had 1 bad delivery. I contacted customer service, sent a photo, and received a refund with no problems. Great service during this lockdown. Be patient.

I’ve uses Door Dash for 1 1/2 years now and only had 1 bad delivery. I text customer service alone with a photo and was credited about with no problems. Obviously, some areas in your city/state are going to be worse/better than others. With the lockdown, there is a higher demand for deliveries. Be patient.

We order from delivery services more than I’d like to admit. We had a disappointing experience with a restaurant last week. Door Dash responded quickly and appropriately, offering a credit for the portions of our food that were subpar. So impressed!

I have been using DD for at least 2 years and have been very happy with their service. I use it a lot at work. I have had a couple orders messed up. (Didn't arrive). When I contacted DD. They were very nice and offered a refund or a quick refire of my order. I have had a good experience with them.

We ordered on a Friday night from Applebee’s. The person who was delivering , stayed in touch with us. She was sitting at Applebee’s. We ordered at 4:30 pm . She said they keep telling her they cannot give her a time. It was not her fault. I believe Applebee’s forgot about our order. My steak was well done instead of medium rare and cold. My steamed broccoli 🥦 was very cold. My Caesar salad was cold and that’s a good thing. I am not sure why people think it’s ok not to tip. We tipped her 20% as if we were in the restaurant. My husband started doordash did four order in Two hours . Not one single tip. DONT blame the driver if your order is cold. You can see where he or she is.

I had a great delivery driver as she was pleasant on the phone. Called to let me know she had arrived and was willing to bring to my hotel room as I visiting with my husband working out of time. Food was delivered in a timely manner and hot. Thank you Jennifer in Greensboro, North Carolina for the professionalism and courtesy.

August 13th 2019 I purchase the baked potato at Wendy's 4433 w. Main St mesa 85205 dug into it took a bite swallowed something other than baked potato when I moved it around it look there was something that was clearly baked into the potato long like a worm with the same characteristics as a worm I go back to Wendy's where all the employees including the manager (which were fired) gathered with first oohs and aahs of disgust with what the heck is that then suggestions like it could be a worm or beetle or centipede but it was not food today is March 24th 2020 and as of two weeks ago I was informed by not Wendy's insurance company but their corporate office after 20 Plus call since the very day it happened I was inform to go to the ER by Wendy's manager and they have yet to pay my hospital bills as well as giving me the runaround for 7 months and 2 weeks ago them for me that Basin go actually own the product and Basin gold representative it seemed that Wendy's only informed them 2 weeks ago so for 6 + months medical bills has been rising on my credit and Wendy's is giving me the run-around telling me to go after the producer of the potato first and foremost Wendy's I didn't go to the producer of the potatoes I came in to Wendy's and paid Wendy's for a baked potato that was not eatable and that had a foreign object in it that's similar to a worm and I've yet to have that item tested because Wendy's is refusing to cooperate any further so please be aware if you go into Wendy's an order a baked potato there can possibly be and foreign object inside and Wendy's will give you the runaround for months and then simply have no comment

I am a Driver in Illinois, this job is great for me, I can drive whenever convenient for me, the problem I have is eventhough I go over the order with the restaurant staff, And they confirm everything is correct, if something is actually wrong then I get a bad review, if I am late because the restaurant is late making it, I get a bad review. This is not fair to the driver..

I've had a good experience. All I can day is tip your driver in cash. The app uses your tip so that they dont have to pay the driver as much. Plus the driver has to pay tax on it

I would give 5 stars.. I've had nothing but great experience with them however one person showed up with a huge German shepherd in their car and there was dog hair on my cup..

Honestly their service isn’t that bad. I pay for the dash pass so I don’t have to pay for a delivery fee if I order over $10 (which I always do.). If they (the restaurant) mess something up, all I have to do is report it on the app on my phone and I am given a credit for the mistake. It’s the fastest robotic customer service I’ve ever dealt with.

I've used door dash several times and always receive my order on time, but there are a few flaws. The one time my order was cancelled, no one called, texted or emailed to let me know that. I had to call customer service to ask what was going on with my order. Their ordering system needs some work as well. If you order more 1 of the same item, it apparently doesn't show that to the restaurant. The one time my order was wrong, it was because I ordered multiples of the same items. So, when you order multiples, add each order separately. I've had no problem since doing that. Overall, not too bad a service. Definitely better than grubhub. I can say I've never received cold food from doordash.

Lots of entitled idiots on here giving 1-stars. I use DD once or twice a weekend now. Yes I've had a few issues with an incorrect order (they corrected it and brought me the correct one) and yes sometimes the food has been a little late (which I don't mind because I'm playing video games or trying to find something to watch on a streaming service). Only once has it been an hour late because some idiot got lost. If anything is wrong with my order I go online and place a complaint and get reimbursed for what is missing or wrong. I always tip in cash because I want the dasher to get all the money. It's not cheap but if you want cheap hop in your car and hit the McDonald's driv-thru. I also order from the same 5 places so they seem to be getting to know me and my orders have been better and better. Use your brain. Know what you're getting into. Read all the fees at the "total" screen before you hit "order". I'm in LA so I expect it to be a little late. The one thing that pisses me off more than anything is when a dasher calls me and tells me "i can't find parking". It's not called cardash it's call doordash. I give a good tip so it pisses me off when someone can't park and deliver the food to my door. Otherwise I can tolerate the other little things in exchange for being lazy and comfy at home.

I used this today for the first time ever. I didn’t see these reviews until after I’d placed the order. I wasn’t charged multiple times, according to the restaurant’s website doordash didn’t overcharge me on the subtotal, the order was delivered in a timely manner and the food did not appear to be tampered with. I haven’t used them enough to know if this level of service is consistent for my area.

As a driver I can agree with your frustration. We don't make the food and restaurants screw up. We dont open the order if in containers. If we can't find the address, common, we need a valid customer phone number. Food is cold when we pick it up... And you'd be surprised how many people eat the food then demand refunds! And you can always reach the driver thru text... Think DoorDash is bad Try driving for PostMates!

DoorDash was fine. Although, I ordered from Chipotle and specifically asked for it to be ready by 1:30. I didn’t receive my order until after two, and I didn’t receive utensils with my bowl.

Not all deliveries are perfect. But I am giving 4 Stars because doordash has given the opportunity to have a variety of different kinds of foods delivered to the house or work places. You no longer have only pizza or chinese to order from. Now there is so much more. Thanks DoorDash!
