I think doordash does a GREAT job. Their fees are lower than grubhub and ubereats. If any issues arise you can always work it out with them. I've been ordering through DD for years now, I've gotten another persons order twice which isn't much for how many times I order. Accidents are rare, I'm sorry some people had bad experiences but that's not the norm. Sure the food isn't piping hot but that's to be expected when you're expecting someone to deliver you food to your home, the same would happen if you picked it up yourself. Anytime I've had issues customer service was quick to issue me a refund or fix the problem. Yes they offer credits right off the bat BUT you can get a refund instead if you just call and ask. Today they issued me a refund because I thought they made me pay for something I shouldn't have but I was wrong and they still gave me a refund without any questions. That's customer service if you ask me.

Overall it is a great convenient app. The only negative is that you have to tip your driver before you receive your food. Sometimes the service is poor but the food is good yet your tip has to be predetermined.

Doordash has been great is so many ways. My dasher is usually prompt and communicates until the very moment I receive my hot and ready food to consume. Not being able to walk to places when it’s time to eat can be challenging so I thank doordash for always being there for me.

I am a fan of doordash. Its convenient. Usually well handled. I DO have a bit of feedback, however. 1) Skills that should be mandatory: Ability to read english (instructions) or a translator option for dasher; also ability to follow a map so you can use common sense and see a river divides the west side of the city....and over the river to other side is NOT rocket science. 2) A GPS that brings you past the well marked 4 foot x 5 foot apt complex entrance sign...you might want to rethink that and follow the simple instructions (see #1). Keep bags right side up. Dont tip hot pizzas.

Don't expect the drinks you order (They'll arrive almost never). Don't expect the condiments (They'll arrive sometimes). But it a convenient way to get just about anything in your city or town has delivered. No matter how bad it may be, this is a service that is going nowhere and I greatly appreciate.

I work for DoorDash and always do my best to get the customer their food. And since covid, I've never had a problem till yesterday. Number one, I don't have to wear a mask if I'm outside and not in a business. So if you order food and don't want contact, the put in the instructions, "leave at the door" instead of getting pissy cause I'm not wearing a mask.

Prices are a little high but I am the one not wanting to go out. Refund/Credit when messed up quick. Just wish I could pick the driver. We have some that follow my directions and many that do not

I started as a DoorDash driver about a month ago, I am sad to see people getting cold food, lastnight DoorDash had me stack orders. I was trying to hurry and deliver. The last person I got to they had freezes, they melted a slight bit, when they came out to get the food I offered to get them fresh freezes. They declined, nice people. Whenever I come into an issue, even a minor one, I contact the costumer, telling them either that I can’t find their place (like if I’m in the area next to their place) or that I’m still waiting on their food to get done at the restaurant. I always contact them to make sure what is best for them. I always have the heat cranked in the car to keep the food warm even if I’m sweating. I think of the costumers. Lastnight after 10 I got an order for Little Caesars, I called the costumer to let them know that they were closed, the costumer said that they ordered it 3 hours ago! I felt so bad! Infuriated me that DoorDash just then gave me that order. I had a pizza that I bought earlier that I didn’t touch because I was too busy, I almost offered that up for them as I did not touch it at the time. I hope that DoorDash gets better. I am so sorry to the costumers that got horrible experience and I do not blame them for not wanting to use DoorDash again. No one should get cold food.

Door dash is a good job however I read these reviews and am so upset how dissapointed people are.It is not hard to follow directions so getting there should be easy if not call the customer.Now most foid is sealed so we can not look into the bad due to covid my advise if you choose to use door dash text the driver and ask them to make sure it's in there.And if you are getting something leave a tip.we are using our car and it takes money to do so.if you can't afford a tip don't order and a two dollar or less tip us an insult.

I will not be ordering anything from DoorDash because I don’t think it’s fair they segregate black owned businesses. When you over promote a business in this way it makes the customers feel as if they are being sold on an inferior product and being ripped off. I’m sure that’s not the case but I will not support this kind of segregation if the product is good it will sell there is no need for this.

To the people complaining that DoorDash delivery drivers leave your food on the doorstep , take a picture and leave. That’s what it tells us to do in the delivery instructions. You have to change the instructions , or it automatically goes to “leave it at my door” Also, yes a dasher will decline your order if it takes 25 minutes to get to your house DoorDash is only offering us $7 to make a 25 minute trip there and another 25 back. Once we are out of our zone delivering to you, it takes another 25 minutes (just an example time) to get back to where the restaurants are to start receiving orders again. So yes your order gets declined multiple times by dashers if it’s not worth our time and gas to drive out there. No fault of yours but drivers are paid crappy. Which seems unfair especially when they are up charging for even the price of the actual food on top of delivery fees and tips . I’m glad I read these reviews though because I thought people got annoyed when I text to update them every step of the way , but from what I’m reading on the reviews people like it so I’ve learned something here. Not all of us are bad and manhandle your food. I genuinely care that the customer is happy. This is just a side job for me to get by during covid (I’m normally a waitress). At the moment , my bills depend on my DoorDash tips and it makes me sad so many people have had such awful experiences with DoorDash

We had a delivery from door dash earlier tonite. 20 minutes ago the driver rang our bell. He said door dash said you called and said you didn’t get the delivery . I replied we did get our food,but did not call door dash. He repeated this 3 times. My daughter tried to contact door dash but now her account is closed. I find this very strange . Had anyone else had this occur?This is worrisome.

I did an order through wingstop and the order was missing a component so I contacted door dash. The first customer service rep was helpful at first but then transferred me to someone who immediately ended the call. I tried a second time and the second time I got in contact with someone who actually helped and they reordered the whole meal for me for free. It was a bit of a pain/extra work to get my order but at the end of the day Door Dash came through. THANKS DEON!!!

They usually do a good job, often on time, but beware that the web interface is faulty - among other things, today I cannot update my phone number; I saw the wrong one fly by but could not return to correct it. You are then barred from logging in until you order something which might screw up any existing order that you're hoping they deliver. You cannot on their site today find a phone number to let the driver know. Maybe it sat the bottom of the page, but you get only 2 seconds before they snap you up out of the bottom of the page to give you more stuff to scroll through. You cannot change their record of your phone number when you need to - There is no support email or chat. They thought of every way of blocking you. Hope that they don't have themselves a stupid fit at your expense in time and money, if they choose to call the old phone number. Today its been an hour since I started my order, so now I'm back in the game of trying to line up a backup meal because they're late and possibly won't get here at all. SInce this site wants to only about 'the' order, I filled in the last one. THis order cannot yet be evaluated completely. Note for reviews.io: Look at your questions and realize that for many services, the questions are incomplete. eg. no same-day delivery answer is possible, and what if you cannot communicate with the company?

i ordered the 4pc honey barbecue basket.. with a note to call me if not avail ... he arrived and gave me my food.. came in and saw i got a regular chicken basket.. sent them an email .. they replied they would give be like 15% credit.. i complained i dont usually order out and they totally screwed it up... got the whole order refunded.

Although the food arrived in a timely manner, I specifically asked the restaurant twice to include chopsticks and I texted the driver requesting they make sure they were included. They weren’t. No one reads the food orders?? Not happy

Been using Door Dash for 1 1/2 years now and only had 1 bad delivery. I contacted customer service, sent a photo, and received a refund with no problems. Great service during this lockdown. Be patient.
