Ordered two buckets of fried chicken, and only received one, try to call the driver, but he never answered. Tried to contact DoorDash and they were not interested in hearing my complaint I was basically robbed out of half of my order and could not feed all of the people they don’t order for. Will never use the service again

If I could rate zero I would - doordash hires the most incompetent drivers that dont know how to follow directions or use their brains - they follow doordash GPS which also sucks and they don't know how to think outside the box - most of them dont speak english so communicating with them is hell in itself.

Absolutely the worse merchant portal you could experience via all platforms. I would give it a negative star if I could. I honestly don't understand how can this company stay alive for this long. completely garbage. First of all, all customer services I dealt with were beyond bad. Endless of pointing me to different lines, which I had to explain the situation countless time repeatly. None of them knew what there were doing, just straightly up incompetent, completely wasting of everyone's time. Of course, the problem left as unsolved. Second, very poor portal UI deisign. Specifically, the image upload for menu items. It requires very strict standard for menu photos, I'm talking 1400x800px, and super weird ratio too. After serval attempt of technical support, they suggested me to "google photo editor, then change the original image size to required size". You don't think I know that already? Do you know even know how image works? How can we resize the image if the original image quality or size doesn't meet the standard in the first place.We have 80+ products, retaking picture for them just doesn't make sense at all, not to mention the cost behind it. Why only DoorDash complains about the pictures but other platforms are all okay with? It is just making things hard for everyone. Third, very bad altitude, not only not trying to make things work for us, but also presenting the impression of they don't care or, do it or leave it. BAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!! not recommend!

I have done too many Doordash orders to list but my experience yesterday, September 27th, was THE WORST! The driver dropped off a fraction of what I ordered. Doordash immediately denied my request for a refund. The total charge was $75. I will NEVER use Doordash again. I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau but doubt that I will ever get satisfaction, meaning a full refund. Unhappy in Indianapolis - Peggy Smith

I ordered a dozen of my favourite instant soups. Instead they sent me 9 spicy ramen stir fry mixes. No one attempted to call me to ask for a suitable substitution and then this purchase ended up costing me and extra $6 to my agreed upon amount. All of the ramens have been donated to the food bank because I can’t eat spicy food (only positive outcome) Customer service said this was a final sale. Terrible first impression. Will never use again. I do not recommend to anyone.

Everytime I order door dash my order is either incorrect or im missing a drink. And each time I think it will be different Ill give door dash ONE LAST CHANCE, and the same thing happens again. It got to a point where now I will not receive the money i paid for the drinks or missing items back. Ridiculous!

I was a Dasher. I went to go out one evening opened my dasher app to find a message saying "You Have been DEACTIVATED", huh, what? After over 5 years of service most of which I was a top dasher, they suddenly, no reason given, said goodbye. I called, I emailed and could get no answers. Even now I emailed back to get a copy of my 1099 and they conveniently tell me that without the correct information they can't find my account, which is strange because I just logged back in to my account using the app, of course it still says I'm deactivated so their computer knows who I am.

One of the drivers took a picture of the dropped-off food at the leasing office instead of at my door, even though the app's name is DOOR Dash. So I drove over, instead of staying comfy at home (which is the whole reason I paid almost double the normal cost of the food with tips and fees), but the food wasn't even there. I tried to report it to DoorDash but the app doesn't help at all, so I called them. They said they wouldn't refund me because this was apparently my third refund attempt. I don't remember them all, but if it's their fault, why is there a max on my account? Maybe it's because THEY failed over the course of my account. What the hell? Trying to blame me? All I did was wait for food to arrive at my door. I'm never using DOORdash again.

I was not the person who had the order, but I was the person it was delivered to! The "Dasher" put the sack at the end of a very long porch instead of coming up five steps, walking to the door and letting me know the order was there, at which time I would have told him "wrong house". I didn't see the sack until later the next morning. Of course by then the food was inedible. In my community we have a resident directory and I would have gladly found which house he should have gone to. I saw that the order was for Lot 294 and I live at Lot 249. I called Panda Express to let them know about this situation. That man was very appreciative! But then I called the Door Dash company and that lady could have cared less. She didn't ask my name or address where the food was delivered or any information that would have told her which driver did not do their job!! I asked her, Monica, if she needed my information and she said " she already had it ", which did not make sense to me. I have never ordered from you before and certainly don't plan to now. I told a friend what happened. He said he's ordered from Door Dash four different times. The first two times the food never arrived and the other two times, the driver set the food on the porch, snapped a picture then picked the food back up and took it with him!! He saw all of it on his porch camera. Home delivery is a great idea, you just need to find a way to hire more honest people.

They need to shut them down, thieves . They will not let you return any bad food, the restaurant won’t replace it or return in if it’s bad because it’s through doordash and doordash will credit you 7 dollars of a 40 dollar bad order . A total rip off

It has been 2 months since a door dash driver hit and ran my car. There is a witness who saw the hit and run. It is almost Oct and door dash still have not paid to fix my car. Beware of DOOR DASH !!!!

One of my first experiences with Door Dash, a skinny young girl delivered my order and rang the bell instead of leaving it. When I went out there, she said my cc wasn’t accepted and she needed the cash to cover the cost of food. I told her “that’s weird because I can see that my cc got charged.” This drug addict properly hung her head and walked away. Today, my food was delivered from a single mom with school aged children in her car during school hours and the fiord wreaked of cigarette smoke. These people are desperate and my heart goes out to them. I also will not eat this food.

I think this company is running a Ponzi scheme because what billion dollar company doesn’t have a headquarters? DoorDash doesn’t have a corporate office, I looked it up because I wanted to make a complaint athe headquarters’s office has been permanently closed, so I think the name is just being used;however, on our bank statements it says the funds were sent to San Francisco, California, which is where the headquarters was located. They need to be brought down because they’re simply stealing. The two men who founded it are Mr Lang and Mr. Tang, they opened in the United States because they knew how we Americans spend money on food and we’re considered to be lazy as well, so we were just the perfect place to make them become billionaires and that’s exactly what happened, but what is done in darkness will come to light. I hope they’re caught soon and will have to pay a lot of people back like myself. Because I am a handicapped woman who can’t drive or cook, and I live on a fixed income, and I utilize their services, but they’ve done nothing but stolen my money!!!!

I work for door dash. I was almost robbed tonight and called door dash for the city or a neighboring street so I can tell the cops and they will give me no information. I still have no turned this in. Hopefully they don't hurt or rob someone else

Have given them multiple tries. Several orders have been canceled. Latest was tonight when restaurant gave my order to another Dasher and refused to remake it. I was told to call Doordash. DoorDash refused to make it right either. Other times what I received was not what I ordered. Again restaurant wouldn't correct it and Doordash offered pennies on the dollar for refund.
