Unfortunately, with Doordash, you'll never really get the same experience reliably. When I initially signed up, food was on time, warm and accurate. After 3 months of fairly decent service... the next 3 months were absolutely terrible. Late deliveries. Cold food. No response to texts to driver asking "where are you at?". Customer Service is nonexistent. The only "refund" or service I ever received was through the automated system that refunded ALMOST my entire money spent on an order that never arrived. Minus tax. I guess despite every other place on earth refunding your entire $$$ for something that never was fulfilled is YOUR problem. Bottom line. It's risk every time you order with Doordash. Maybe it'll be OK. Maybe it will be terrible. Roll the dice when using Doordash.

Not a pleasant experience. I try to order on door dash and when I got to the checkout its giving me error message that my location is out of delivery. I chat with Yah Yah Ramen Manager and did what he can to resolve issue but Doordash said at first that if my location is 5 miles then they cannot really deliver but I checked my location is actually 4.4 miles then one partner called me from the Restaurant and door dash suggestion to let me be closer to the restaurant so I can get my order delivered. So what is the point of getting it delivered if I they want me to come closer to the restaurant which defeats the purpose of it. It doesn’t make sense at all.

The service is fine if the driver picks up one order, but there have been a lot of times where I order food and the driver picks up 3 other orders before even trying to deliver which makes the delivery time well past when it was initially said it would be. I won't be using any more

Last 3 orders arrived 30 min late. Courteous drivers. Don't expect food to show up on time

I've used Doordash twice. They've gotten basic things wrong both times. Both from Taco Bell. First time, I asked for no tomatoes on some nachos. When I got em, not only did it have tomatoes on it, but only one of the extras I ordered on it were on it too. Next time, I ordered nachos again and a pair of 5 layer burritos. Nachos were spot on, but neither of the burritos I ordered were anywhere close to what I ordered, instead getting some tiny beef and rice burritos instead. So I use the sites missing items thing, and I end up getting credited for the burritos I ordered... which was then basically useless because I had to put in another order that ended up just costing more money to order the things I never got because of their service fees, basically forcing me to pay 5 extra bucks to fix their screw up. I'm not using this service again. If I wanted to mess up my orders, I can do that myself. Dont need to pay more money just to have these people mess it up for me.

My order was delivered correctly. What I have an issue with is she came to the door laughing and was on her cell phone. Do they not realize this is a job? Tired of unprofessional so called service industry. I will no use them again!

The the problem with doordash in the menus of your app they'll be certain advertisements for soft drinks but when you call the restaurants they don't know what you're talkin about doordash needs to get its act together and with these restaurants and put specifically down what they have advertised cuz this is very confusing and frustrating to the customers

the total bill was 48.52 with a 5.00 credit for pick up which door dash kept i had a credit of approx 17.00 my card was charged over 60.00 door dash also charged me 8.00 because they need the money. which means I was really charged was close to 80.00 and the food was not good.

I like the selection of restaurants that Door Dash provides. However, in the past few weeks drivers have delivered my orders to the wrong address twice. I believe they are delivering to a similar address in my area and the person there is dishonest and takes the order. Drivers need to do a better job of verifying they have the correct address. The company did replace the orders, but it's a major inconvenience that shouldn't be happening.

Doordash was great when I first started ordering from them. The past couple of months it has declined drastically. Case in point, I was excited to see Popeyes was new and I didn't realize that when I ordered, it was a Popeyes in San Francisco and I live in Arizona! Then when I called customer service, he had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to cancel my order. Uh...yes! I've noticed receiving my orders have been taking longer and longer as well.

I use Doordash often and find it pretty good except 3 issues. 1. Make sure you choose to be "Contacted" if there is an issue. IT DEFAULTS to "Chef Recommendation" and I have had something completely different show up and Doordash said with Default box checked, no refund for you. They sent me some kind of Fish...do I look like a Fish dude?? 2. It's weird that when they deliver, the person acts as if they are handing me a Bomb as they run the other direction very fast as soon as they hand me the bag. 3. This is what angers me the most and prompted the review...I order mostly from ONE restaurant (almost weekly) 90% of my orders are from this ONE Restaurant. That being said, when I bring up Doordash in my browser, it ALWAYS shows a million OTHER restaurants EXCEPT the one I want to order from. It is the complete opposite of any other web site...it knows I order from a particular restaurant OFTEN but every single time I literally have to use the "Search" to find that restaurant !! It's like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife!

They are a delivery service that not only charges a service fee that they don't disclose, ON TOP OF A DEILVERY FEE. Why are there two separate fees for delivery and service, when they are a delivery service. They also charged an extra dollar for a meal that costs 3.99, plus tax on top of this extra fee, and if you don't order whatever arbitrary amount of food they decide, they charge you an extra "Small meal" delivery fee. And I thought EA was bad with the monetization.

This review is mainly so Doordash can make improvements. Initially, when I started ordering through Doordash, I thought it was great. But recently I have been noticing that there are couple of major problems, which is inconveincing me: 1. When I place an order, the time clock starts to tick showing when the food will be delivered ( 45-57 minutes). This starts to go down and when it gets to zero, it indicates that the food is delivered. When in fact it was not delivered. 2. In the beginning as soon as I place an order, within minutes the dasher appears, either on the way to the restaurant or waiting at the restaurant. But now there is a problem with getting a dasher. So even if the restaurant says the food is ready, there is no dasher and the application already indicates the food is delivered. Suggestion: If there is no dasher, within 5 minutes, the program should say, 'sorry no dasher available' or something so that the customer can move towards an alternative. It is irritating to wait for an hour and then find out that there is no dasher and no food either. Then you have to make calls to cancel and refund the money. Very annoying. Please make improvements. Until such time, I decided not to order through Doordash anymore.

I have ordered a few times and each time there has been an issue. Late deliveries, cold food, inability to cancel order hours ahead, etc. Today was another kicker. Tijuana Flats: called to add queso to my burrito. I was told I had no protein, yet the site did not allow a protein option on their dropdown box. I added chicken onto the order. Surprise, added fee and no delivery fee was now a delivery fee. Not again!!!!

Review specific to Tijuana Flats in HS: called to add queso to make a wet burrito. Told I did not choose a protein, but none was listed when I ordered. I informed them I would like chicken, but was not told about the extra price. And when I asked about the free delivery, was told the chicken might not allow for free delivery. Never again at this place!!!!

Doordash driver was not at fault. Tacos de Anda screwed up my order and there is no recourse.

Have ordered 5 or 6 times using DD. Had problems with 2: first, the order never arrived tho driver claimed he called me; second time the order was wrong. Customer service via chat stinks. When ordering from Dunkin Donuts sweetener was rarely included tho it was specified in the order. Have had better experience with Grubhub.

Order was supposed to arrive at 11:45. I didn't get any notification about the orders progress. I ended up calling the company to be put on hold and then told the driver was late. The customer service person didn't apologize or offer a discount. The order arrived 45 minutes late with no apology or offer of a discount. Won't use them again.
