My first Door Dash experience, I got texts and alerts that my food was being prepared, the deliverer had picked up my food, he was on his way, he was approaching my house, the food was delivered, but I never got the food and the Door Dash agent I contacted couldn't get ahold of the driver either, so my food never showed up. The agent was kind of reversed the charges and gave me a $10 credit, but a bad first time experience.

They hire drooling idiots. They are also liars. When they can't find your apartment (despite very detailed directions), they say they left it at your door. Just ordered, had that happen; they gave me a $15 credit. I reordered, and 40 minutes after the order was placed, it was cancelled without explanation. No doubt to protect the same dummy who didn't want to drive out there again.

As a door dash driver, I do my best to get the food to the customer as quickly as possible. I have had several issues with the app and the GPS sending me to the wrong address. I am 52 years old and do this to make extra cash. I always identify myself and I am always very professional to my clients. I guess they people that have had problems with other dashers are getting younger people that don’t take pride in their job. I would like to apologize to everyone that has had a bad experience and I would like to say that if you order in EHT New Jersey, I will do my best to get your delivery to you as quickly as I can. I do not understand how they leave items. I make sure the restaurant verifies everything that has been ordered. Again I do apologize.

Wow, sure wish I had read these reviews before downloading the DD app! It was a joke! I gave very explicit and detailed instructions and very simple! I clearly said when you are close to my location, call my phone. They text several times which I did not hear on my phone as I was outside. Finally called only to tell me they couldn't make a left turn to get to me. Um ok, so go down the next street and come that way. Argued with me and then got upset and said I wasn't listening to her. Yes I am, but its up to the driver to figure out how to get to me. I didnt wvwb make her come to my door! I walked well over a block to help her. She spoke over me on the phone to say I wasn't listening. Finally gets to me and continues to argue about her gps directions. Again, not my problem how you get to me. She had a rider with her holding my food and drink. I don't feel good about that especially after arguing about directions. Just very really shady and unprofessional so I am deleting the DD app.

DoorDash can be great! Food is delivered fast, hot and its all there. DoorDash can be awful! Food takes forever, it's cold or its missing items. My biggest compliant is I put very clear instructions on how to reach my front door. And its pathetic that 99.9% of the drivers don't bother to read then wander around trying to deliver my food. This is to DoorDash technical team. You have now removed your app from my versions for iPad and Android. My personal devices don't need to be updated you need to support all devices. Since my devices are no longer supported if I don't have my laptop to order with I have to PLACE MY ORDERS WITH GRUBHUB! Not a great marketing move as I spend a lot of money with DoorDash.

Didn’t deliver two night in a row. The first night I spent $35 the second $90. I was told that if I didn’t answer the phone the dasher could leave after 15 minutes. As I understand this, the point is that the NAME OF THIS COMPANY IS DOORDASH. Their only job is to bring it to my door. Not, call, wait, and not even attempt to find my apartment. The customer experience was equally as troublesome. She blamed me for not answering the phone (understandably) but I wa sour side looking for the delivery person. I have to say I use these service often and I have never had a problems with Postmates and will only order with them from now on. 2 stars because they cannot fulfill their basic duty but did provide a refund only to tell me they would never refund me again even though this wasn’t my fault.

The food was not delivered or the driver got lost, called to get my money back 4 times, never got the refund. I will never use you again.

Ordered through door dash for the first time, knowing there would be an upcharge to cover the "so-called" free delivery. However, you might want to stop putting the actual store receipt from the restaurant in the bag after you charged the customer almost double. My two meals actually cost 25.53 (incl. Tax). I was charged $42.81. So basically it cost me $17.28 for delivery and the tip....REALLY?? NEVER AGAIN!!! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!

I gave a 2 only because the delivery driver was so nice...I live exactly 2 minutes from el paso mexican restaurant and I gotta tell ya that our food was very cold.I dont think they keep the food in warmers like the pizza people do.

I’m not sure whose fault this is but it isn’t the first time I haven’t had the greatest experience using Door Dash. We ordered food at 11:26am with an ETA of 48 minutes. I received a text from the driver at 12:07 stating that she arrived at the restaurant and they did not have our order. She placed it for us and we finally got our food at 12:54pm. Almost an hour and half after we ordered it. The food was good, but we had to eat after our meeting instead of before. Like I said, this isn’t the first time this has happened and it is very frustrating. I’d like to note that the driver was very friendly and apologetic. There is something with the system that needs to be addressed.

I’ve been a loyal doordash customer for quite some time. The last and final order I purchased was inedible, and simply wanted a refund. DoorDash did not honor this, and told me they are sorry for the inconvenience. If they were a company that valued customers, they would issue a full refund. Don’t waste your time, there are too many other companies with these services that do a FAR superior job at it.

Ordered food that indicated 50 minutes to delivery. At 75 minutes “ track my order” shows food is nor even finished yet. I click “ help” and get a message they are looking for a dasher. Screen gives and “ arrival” time of the 50 minutes. I click “ cancel” as I need to get back to work, and get a message I cannot cancel as the dasher has picked it up. Nothing arrives. Of course the credir card is charged.

When the app works it's great. But I continuously get errors, 1 minute it will say your order and payment is complete - then I'll get a notification that the software caused transaction to abort - then when I do it again it says my order was already submitted. I sell software - this is an easy error to fix - yet they don't.

The restaurant I've been faithful to since they opened is AMAZING. Doordash is a SHAM. the deliver driver was great. The Doordash website is juvenile and abhorrent. They don't display well and refused my coupon for first time delivery. As in, the website wouldn't take it (any instructions or promo code or anything has NO "enter" button of the like. You hit the back button for instructions to go through but it didn't work for a promo code and customer service asked for a screenshot to be sent of the code to "prove" it). I'm so sad my favorite restaurant and the best Thai/Lao food in the city chose them to help their restaurant for delivery. I will gladly pick up from them now. They deserve my/all business. Doordash is if you were to try to deal with AOL IM now. Again, driver was very pleasant. It's the app and corporate absurdity that needs to go. I'm not mad, I'm laughing.

We ordered through door dash tonite. Have used it only twice, first time was great! Wanted same food as last visit from same restaurant, only 10 minutes from house. Ordered, got verification, and followed tracker. After noticing the time frame was getting longer rather than shorter, I called dasher. She stated that door dash had been having issues with the app , she had been sent to another store about 20 minutes in the other direction! Wow, talk about being annoyed! After one hour had passed, the driver arrived, very apologetic. It is not the fault of the driver in any way, she waisted gas, got to hear about how disappointed we were. I have used Bite Squad in the pst with no problem at all. Fix the problems before sending the drivers out in the wrong direction! Wasted time !!!

Very quick. No complaints there. Missing items from order. Small order charge of nearly $2.00? Misc. fees extra. A usual burger, fries and a soft drink for $8.00 will cost you $18-22.00.

I was missing 4 items and it was Buffalo Wild Wings Fault !!! Dirt dash was right on time and was not at fault for my missing items.. Buffalo Wild Wings has bad customer service and did not put all my missing items in the bag ..

All businesses that allow door dash delivery should be required to staple all orders closed to avoid any dashers tampering with food.
