Ordered from Doordash for about a year. Pretty good. Then tonight it wouldn't let me set the ETA for the restaurant to deliver. The button just wouldn't work. But then it wouldn't delete the items I had selected so I could choose another restaurant. Deleted the app; reloaded the app. Same problem. In short, they made themselves unusable.

Our delivery took an hour to get here. While watching the driver make several other stops along the way resulting in our food being incredibly cold. When I voiced my concerns they offered $5 for a $40 order

Late 3/4 of the time and the fees, taxes, and tips forced to pay usually end up costing more than my meal.

I order and wait for delivery only to get a phone call 45 minutes later that my order was not put in the system... This has happened twice now..

Door Dash offers an option of scheduling a delivery time of an order. I understand that you cannot guarantee an exact time, although almost an hour early... an unprofessional way you service your customers. I’ve had too many issues with Door Dash that I have never dealt with using other delivery services. A $40 waste of my money. It’s not the first issue with them, but it’s the last.

Doordash is great if you enjoy cold food, and waiting on extra 20 mins from the expected delivery time. We've complained about it before and they us gave a whomping 10$ off our next order, which didn't even cover delivery & tip. Every once in a while I'd be fine with our food being late but I'd say 80% of the time they're late. Either be accountable for your drivers for figure out an accurate estimated delivery time.

So, it Valentines Day. I hurt my back so I cannot leave the house. I ordered door dash at 6pm expecting a long wait due to the holiday. I’m usually super chill about things but my order was way jacked up! I ordered a fully loaded baked potato and got a dry potato all alone in the box. My husband ordered the most suggested meal, chicken fried steak with gravy. It came dry. We couldn’t even eat any of our meal and when I messaged the door dash app I was refunded $10 of a $50 dollar meal. NOT HAPPY!

The courier was friendly and arrived right on time. Both times I have ordered my food has arrived cold. Complained to restaurant but they said it was hot when it left so I should reach out to Door Dash. Could not find contact info to do that.

I was about to order a $50 Italian Meal in San Antonio, Texas. I placed the order and get a call that the restaurant doesn't even sell italian food anymore. Why the hell is it on the app then??? So I choose to put the credits in my account so I can order something else, as I don't know how long it would take to refund to my card. Whoop, the delivery prices just skyrocketed and now I can't order anything because half my money would be going to fees, $25 for delivery, fees and taxes? Screw that. I want most of my money to be going to my damn food. Plus, the app is SUPER SLOW. It doesn't matter if you have great internet, it always takes forever to load anything I click on. I don't know why I use this app anymore.

Visiting GA and never have you door dash before. Ordered food and was giving an ETA. Door dash called and said they were out of the drinks we wanted so we picked different ones. No issue so far...When it was passed about 20 mins from ETA I called door dash and was told our driver to pick up the food never showed and they were sending another driver...Maybe just give ppl a heads up because I would of picked up my own food if I knew it was going to take this long.

Not impressed. Got an offer to try through a friend, supposed to be a $7 credit. Not hardly. And there is no one to speak to. This company is not long for this world. So disappointing.

We have used Doordash about 10 times so dfar in the last three years to order from our favorite Chinese restaurant. We order on line and prepay by credit card. Tonight we placed the order, paid and received the email confirmation for 66.00. ten minutes latewr we receive a text message thaddressed to me saying the order was not filled because I called 4 times and did not place an order. Yea, right. Doordash called the restaurant, NOT me!

I feel door dash hires people that don't care about the customers they deliver to or restaurants they deliver for. Giving refunds isn't always the way also if you dont your food you are out and so is the restaurant. Very poor service!!!! Oh and if you are a business wanting a delivery. You might want to call the restaurant first. Because the delivery drivers don't get out of their cars to even make an effort. Very very poor service!!!

As a month-long driver for DD I can tell you first that I spend more time waiting for food in the restaurants than I do on the road. Case in point, walked into a restaurant today and they waited on all of the customers in line before they even considered my ticket, technically once I walk in for a delivery, I'm in line, but alas they made me wait even as new customers walked in. This is more the rule than the exception, believe me. Second, as soon as I identify as a DD delivery the attitude is immediately apparent and any effort from then on to hasten the order, even if the restaurant is slow, doesnt happen; in fact, I get the sense they purposely delay it further. I assume because there are so many deliveries and because we dont tip the person bagging up the food. We cant, the menial cut of the fee that we get for driving to the restaurant, waiting for the food, then driving to the customer, and rarely getting tipped, means we most likely get paid less than the person bagging the food. That doesn't even take into account the gas, tires, milage, and over all wear and tear on our personal vehicles, and 1099 taxes . With DD we have to sign up for shifts which they call "dashes." We are instructed to post up at a given "hot spot" ie. mall parking lot. When there are no orders to deliver we sit in the car, sometimes for over an hour, unpaid for that time. Your really want to know why the food takes so long, sign up to drive and after one day you'll know. Most drivers do their best to make the customer happy because we need the tips to hopefully make a little money. For me, I'm so glad the recent government shut-down is resolved so I can get back to my day job and for now, dump this ridiculous "side-hussle"I feel really badly for those that have to do this full-time.

Door dash called to see if I had received my food. I don't think she understands how to serve customers. My food was delivered to the wrong address, and was 25 minutes late. My delivery address is on my account. Now how it got delivered somewhere else, I don't know but was no fault of my own. I wasn't asking for anything, not a refund or a credit. But the customer service rep that followed up, on every chance, blamed me for the food going to the wrong place and refused to simply take responsibility. I am looking for alternative delivery options. Plus, I don't know if 5.99 for delivery is fair for going 3 1/2 miles.

The restaurant substituted an item that for me was inedible and had to be thrown away. DoorDash offered a credit for only half the charge of the item I ordered.

I enjoy the convenience of using a food delivery service like doordash. However, every single promotional offer that they have emailed to me has failed when I tried to use it to save on delivery fees. Also people using their service should watch out for the additional fees that are lumped in with tax. In my area, those fees are approximately 10% of the total cost of the food. Doordash customer service used to call me if I reported a missing item or a problem with my food. They no longer do so. I have to go through a complicated process to find out how to email them the feedback that I am missing an item. They do credit my card to compensate me for the missing item. I have read several reviews saying that others have had much worse experiences than I have had. I hope that there is a company that can master this process of food delivery!

Fast and friendly. We have used Doordash, twice and they have delivered the order with items missing. Not too convenient if you don't get what you paid for.
